Claims (3)

  1. A hinge (100, 200') for doors, windows or the like;
    having a frame hinge part (10) for fastening to a stationary frame of the door, window or the like;

    and having a leaf (40) provided on the free end of the support arm (25), the limb (41) of which that projects rearwardly at right angles to the fastening part (30) and which is provided with bores (42) for additional fastening screws being intended to encompass a vertical edge on the stationary frame or casement which is perpendicular to the fastening part (3);
    characterized in that
    the support arm (25) and the leaf (40) are separate parts that can be connected together; and
    at least one connecting arm (44) extends from the other limb (43) of the leaf (40) in the opposite direction to the support arm (25), the end thereof overlapping the end of the support arm (25).
  2. A hinge according to claim 1, characterized in that a mortise and tenon connection is provided which can be push fitted to connect the support arm (25) and the leaf (40).
  3. A hinge according to claim 2, characterized in that at least one of the tenons of the mortise and tenon connection projects rearwardly and simultaneously constitutes a fixing peg (11) of the support plate (30) for engaging in the frame or the casement.
