  • the present invention relates to a wire bead for plaster, stucco and the like comprising a strip of bent diagonal wires and longitudinal wires welded to one another, in which the strip is bent at angle around a longitudinal wire to form a wire bead having a substantially L-shaped cross-section with one short leg and one long leg, whereby the angle between the short leg and the long leg of the L-shaped wire bead is greater than 90° and whereby the short leg of the L-shaped wire bead is provided with a plastic sleeve.
  • Such wire beads are used in particular as plaster or stucco profile edging in plastering or stuccoing wall surfaces, in particular at the corners of building components. These wire beads exhibit many advantages, such as in particular the very open network structure due to which the steel wires, which are welded to one another, are very well embedded in the plaster, stucco or other cementitious material of the covering layer.

Claims (3)

  1. Drahteckleiste (1) für Putz, Stuck und dergleichen mit einer Leiste aus gebogenen diagonalen Drähten (2) und länglichen Drähten (3), die miteinander verschweißt sind, wobei die Leiste in einem Winkel um einen länglichen Draht (4) gebogen ist, um eine Drahteckleiste mit einem im Wesentlichen L-förmigen Querschnitt mit einem kurzen Schenkel (5) und einem langen Schenkel (6) zu bilden, wobei der Winkel (α) zwischen dem kurzen Schenkel (5) und dem langen Schenkel (6) der L-förmigen Drahteckleiste (1) größer als 90° ist und der kurze Schenkel (5) der L-förmigen Drahteckleiste (1) mit einer Kunststoffhülse (7) versehen ist, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Kunststoffhülse (7) aus einem hohlen Längsprofil (8) besteht, das über dem kurzen Schenkel (5) der L-förmigen Drahteckleiste (1) angeordnet ist.
  2. Drahteckleiste (1) nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das hohle Längsprofil (8) einen im Wesentlichen U-förmigen Querschnitt hat, wobei der Körper (9) des U-förmigen Längsprofils (8) fast parallel zu dem langen Schenkel (6) der L-förmigen Drahteckleiste (1) verläuft.
  3. Drahteckleiste nach Anspruch 1 oder 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Kunststoffhülse (7) Längsnuten oder vorstehende Rippen (10) umfasst.
