<IMAGE>A method for producing a thread in an integrated spin-twist process according to the double-wire principle and an apparatus for performing the method. Individual spinning threads (F1, F2) are produced by means of two adjacent spinning units (R1, R2), which are guided into a hollow spindle axis (11) of a twisting spindle. They are then guided according to the double wire principle opposite to the first running direction and pass through a thread balloon which is guided in a thread guide tube (3) and rotates around the spinning units (R1, R2) and are guided to a centering point (37) lying in the extension of the hollow axis, from which they are subtracted. Dissolved fiber material is fed to each spinning unit (R1, R2) through the envelope surface defined by the thread balloon, specifically via an annular space penetrated by the envelope surface, in which the thread (F3) rotates freely and passes directly through the fiber material supplied to the annular space. The fiber material is removed from the annular space (10) under the effect of a negative pressure. <IMAGE>

Such a method and the corresponding device are described in DE 44 27 875 C1.
In the method known from the above-mentioned document and the known device is the resolved Fiber material first through a fiber channel to an annulus supplied, which is arranged coaxially to the spindle axis. By the thread forming the thread balloon is guided in this annular space in such a way that the ring space is in a kind of column or spoke crosses that part of a rotating component is so that the thread forming the thread balloon is not comes into direct contact with the supplied fiber material. With this construction, the basic idea was assumed that fiber flow and thread running through as little as possible should interfere with each other. The spoke or column, through which the thread is guided could be designed in this way be that no fibers can attach to it. At a Device for performing this known method is the rotating component, which contains the thread guide element, by means of which the thread is guided in the thread balloon, as pot firmly connected to the spindle rotor, at the top two in the axial direction to each other opposed annular components are arranged, that limit the annulus between them. The two ring-shaped Parts are through spoke-like connecting elements, that penetrate the annulus, connected to each other, the thread guide element in one of the connecting elements is arranged.
As such, a connecting element containing the thread guide element would on the circumference of the pot to guide the Sufficient thread through the annulus. But this is mechanical engineering unfavorable because of the imbalance that occurs. It is better if at least two, preferably three such spoke-like connecting elements on the circumference available. However, this has the consequence that the fiber stream triple malfunction per spindle revolution. Since the Fasteners a certain for design reasons It must have a minimum width in the circumferential direction even with a good fluidic profile of the connecting elements for ejecting single fibers from the Fiber flow and thus to fiber disorientation.
It has also been shown that the between the annular Parts of the pot arranged fasteners Source of high noise emissions. They work despite the cheap Flow profile like a siren, whose sound despite one encapsulated version in unacceptable strength to the outside emerges.
Patentanspruchs 1 bzw. 5 so auszugestalten, daß bei der Zuführung
des Fasermaterials eine minimale Faserdesorientierung
auftritt und die Geräuschbildung erheblich herabgesetzt wird. The invention has for its object a method and
a device with the features from the preamble of
kennzeichnenden Teil des Patentanspruchs 5.This task is solved procedurally with the
Features from the characterizing part of the
Advantageous developments of the invention are in the dependent Described claims.
The basic idea of the invention is the thread balloon free thread, that is, without guidance through a closed Guide the thread guide through the annulus. The dissolved fiber flow is still transverse to the annulus fed. In contrast to the known method, the Thread balloon or the thread forming the thread balloon the fiber stream completely unprotected.
It has surprisingly been found that this is unprotected Not only guiding the thread through the annulus is possible, but even to a much lower one Disruption of the fiber flow leads. There is an essential better textile technology result in the end product Thread, and the fiber utilization is significantly higher. Furthermore, the noise level is also significantly reduced. It turned out to be an additional advantage that a working according to the inventive method Device with a compared to the known device needs less height. This is due to, that the axially extending, the annulus limiting annular parts are not present. Of the Thread can go directly through the ring space on the thread removal side limiting annular gap with a width of approx. 4 mm out of the annulus and to the centering point be performed.
The invention opens up yet another possibility that Fiber disorientation when feeding the fiber material belittling. To feed the fiber material, the Pressurized annulus. The vacuum flow can now on the one hand into the fiber material feed channels from the annular space be introduced and on the other hand by the one on the thread exit side of the annular space Annular gap in a closed space between the top of the inner housing and the one with the centering opening Cover of the outer housing. This creates an air flow from this room through the annular gap into the annular space that tends to disorient fibers that are in have penetrated this space or into the annular gap into the Promote annulus back, making it highly likely a reorientation of these disoriented fibers occurs. To get a better control over this airflow, it is useful if the vacuum flow from the vacuum source connected to the spindle hollow axis without a bypass leading to the annulus is performed (see claims 4, 7, 8 and 10). A seal of the annulus in terms of negative pressure only to the thread feed side, i.e. upright downwards to be preserved.
It will make a better overall breakdown of the Negative pressure compared to those under higher pressure standing interiors of the twisting spindle, which leads to The consequence is that the negative for fiber transport important Pressure gradient can be metered better. The vacuum flow is in contrast to the known method from the annulus only through the fiber inflow channel, but through the Annular gap and also through the opening at the centering point of the Thread balloons. A desired dosage of the vacuum flow can then be done easily from this point, e.g. by throttling be made.
