Description

The invention is based on a method for packaging powdery or granular bulk goods according to the generic term of claim 1, as for example from US 5,111,642 has become known. The invention further relates to a Device for performing the novel method according to the preamble of claim 13. In the method known from US 5,111,642 Tablet compacts formed into prepared capsule parts be inserted. By forming the compacts leaves there is a high density of the bulk goods to be packed achieve, so that the capsule size chosen to be relatively small can be. Such a procedure will apply to others Bulk goods, especially food and beverages applied, in which the bulk material, for example, in an outer packaging in the form of a bag, so provides the problem is that the compacted bulk material is difficult can be removed from the outer packaging. It is in DE 25 25 504 A1 mentions that such preformed ones Compacts by adding other substances, for example from Water, let it dissolve easily. However, this sets already advance that the compact from the outer packaging is removed. For example, coffee becomes a compact pre-compressed and packed in an outer packaging, so provides in particular the problem of taking individual Portions from the outer packaging. The object of the invention is therefore, a generic method for packaging to further develop powdery or granular bulk goods that a simple removal of the pre-compressed bulk material from the outer packaging is made possible. This task will solved by the characterizing features of claims 1 and 13. Further advantages and advantageous developments of the inventive method and the device for Carrying out the packaging method according to the invention powdery or granular bulk goods result from the Subclaims and the description.

Bescheibung der AusführungsbeispieleDescription of the exemplary embodiments

In the packaging method according to the invention, a Volumetric or gravimetric bulk quantity 1 loosened and through a feed pipe 11 or a feed channel into a sleeve-shaped, vertically aligned die 12 a press 10 poured in from above. One in the bottom Stamp 13 inserted at the end of die 12 closes meanwhile their lower opening (figure la). After this complete introduction of the bulk quantity 1 into the cavity the die 12 (FIG. 1b) also moves in with the Die 12 aligned second punch 14 from above in the cavity of the die 12 and compresses the first loose bulk quantity 1 in the die 12 to one Compact 2, with almost all the trapped air escapes (Figure 1c). The compact 2, in which the individual Adhere or bake grains or particles together, is then from the upper stamp 14 with the support of lower punch 13 pushed down out of the die 12 (Figure 1d). One horizontally below the die 12 movable slider 5 still pushes between the two Stamp 13, 14 held compact 2 in one provided bag 3 (Figure 1e). While the open End of the bag 3 by folding and sealing to one finished package 4 is closed (Figure 1f), the return Stamp 13, 14 and the slide 5 in their starting position back so that a new packaging cycle can begin.

Deviating from the embodiment of Figure 1, in which the compact 2 for insertion into the bag 3 horizontally is shifted, is in the embodiment of Figure 2 the compact 2 in an upright vertical direction provided bag 3 introduced. Filling one Bulk quantity 1 in a likewise vertically aligned, sleeve-shaped die 12 and compacting into one Compact 2 take place as described above Exemplary embodiment according to FIG. 1. After compression however the lower punch 13 far down and below the die 12 is aligned with its cavity Bag 3 provided (Figure 2d). In the open ones Bag 3 now pushes the upper punch 14 out of the compact 2 the die 12 by a downward movement into the bag 3 a (Figure 2e), and then returns to its original position back. The filled bag 3 is moved to the side, so that the lower punch 13 in its starting position can return. On the filled bag 3 is now the Closure of the bag 3 by folding and sealing or Gluing formed in a conventional manner.

In the two packaging processes described above to form the compacts 2 only the stamp 14 used while the other stamp 13 as a counter bearing works. Particularly uniform and also high compaction can be achieved if both stamps 13, 14 for molding of the compact 2 can be moved against each other.

In the packaging process, the cavity is basically the die 12 and the press distance of the two punches 13, 14 to adapt to the final shape of the package 4. Has the desired pack 4 the shape of a cuboid, such as mostly common, have the cavity of the die 12 and the two stamps 13, 14 have a rectangular cross section. In the embodiment of Figure 1 we the height of Pack 4 by the distance between the two stamps 13, 14 at Press end determined. The cross section of the pack 4 corresponds the cross section of the cavity of the die 12. On the other hand determine the two dimensions of the cross section of the Die 12 the depth and width of the after Seal vertically placed bag 3 and the Press distance of the two stamps 13, 14 the height of the pack 4, with the closure on top.

For easy insertion of the compact 2 into a bag 3 the cross-sectional dimensions of the bag 3 are slightly larger than the corresponding dimensions of the compact 2, so that enough when inserting the compact 2 into the bag 3 Game exists.

To insert the compact 2 in the bag 3 additionally According to FIG. 3, a special device can facilitate this 15 for keeping the head region of a bag 3 open be used. This device 15 has one preferably circumferential frame 16 with the head region of the Bag 3 facing suction openings 17 with a Vacuum line 18 are connected. At least during the Pushing the compact 2 into the bag 3 can be so keep the head area of the bag 3 open so that only one Minimum play of the compact 2 with respect to the bag 3 is required.

Diese Schräge 19, deren Winkel etwa ein bis drei Grad beträgt, verhindert Abbrechungen des Preßlings 2 beim Ausschieben aus der Matrize 12.In addition, damage to the compact 2 when Slide from the die 12 into the bag 3 prevent according to Figure 4 facing the bag 3 Side of the die 12 on the inner edge of a slope 19 on. This bevel 19, the angle of which is about one to three degrees is, prevents breakage of the compact 2 when Eject from the die 12.

These cancellations can also be avoided if Modified matrices according to FIGS. 5a and 5b 12a, 12b can be used. These matrices 12a, 12b are formed in two or four parts. The housing parts 21 and 22, or 23 to 26 are pressed against each other driven so that they are a tight receptacle for the bulk material 1 train. After molding the compact 2, you can its removal be moved apart.

In the case of bulk materials sensitive to oxygen, for example Coffee can ensure aroma protection described packaging processes in one Protective gas atmosphere can be carried out so that the Packaged goods from the ambient air, especially from their Oxygen content is protected and in the gastight sealed packaging protected until consumption remains.

Outer packaging for the compacts 2 can also take the form of Tubular bags, mugs, cans, glasses or tubes Have plastic or metal or the like. The shape a compact 2 is the shape of the selected one Adapt packaging or vice versa.

A compact 2 can have the shape as described above Cuboids or cubes, or other shapes such as for example that of a cylinder, a sphere and have such common geometrical bodies. It is also conceivable to protect the compact 2 Edges and for easier insertion into its outer packaging with slopes or rounded edges. Also pillow-shaped compacts 2 can depending on Use case to be advantageous.

So that when a compact 2 is introduced into the packaging, for example a bag 3, the air or the gas from the Bag 3 can escape quickly, the extent of Pressed 2 flow channels 6 and at the leading end Slopes 7 are arranged (Figure 6). In addition, in one side of the compact 2, a recess or a pocket 8 are arranged, in which after the check weighing of the Press 2 a quantity corresponding to the defective weight Bulk material can be introduced.

To easily take individual portions from the packaging can the compact 2 in the outer packaging before or after closing them by destroying the liability between the individual grains are loosened again without the Volume, and in particular the amount of packaging remarkably increases. The volume of the packaging should do this however, be slightly larger than the block volume of the compact. Loosening is carried out by packing 4 with the Compact 2 clamped between two plates and briefly one or more times, preferably in a cross to previous pressing direction extending direction, pressed becomes. It is also possible to sonicate the compact 2 with Ultrasound or the combination of presses and Ultrasonic. The grains can also be loosened by means of Vibration of package 4 or a combination of vibrations in connection with presses and / or ultrasound.

Das anschließende Lockern erfolgt dann mit parallel geführtem Einführstempel 28.The described loosening process of the grains can occur with a still open pack 4 by means of a in the pack insertable plate 27 take place. According to FIG. 7 easy insertion of the plate 27 into the package 4 achieve when a connected to the plate 27 Insertion punch 28 is made smaller than the plate 27, which are adapted to the opening cross section of the pack 4 got to. The insertion punch 28 can also be inserted into the Pack 4 first swivel so that it is in a first phase a smaller insertion cross-section has (Figure 8). The subsequent loosening then takes place with parallel entry stamp 28.

It has been shown that loosening is simplified, or a lower force is required if the compact 2 facing side of the plate 27 not flat, but is structured. These structures are preferably in the form of wedges trained, the arrangement of which can have different patterns.
