Closing device for objects made of chocolate or chocolate-like masses covered with metal foil material
The invention relates to a closing device for objects made of chocolate or chocolate-like masses covered with metal foil material.
It has been proposed to use essentially flat, solid or filled bodies made of chocolate or chocolate-like masses such as bars, bars, blocks and the like. Like. To produce that one as
Form and at the same time used as wrapping material metal foil strips, which are provided with indentations by means of an embossing process according to the desired body shape. The liquid mass is poured into the wells. After filling, the metal foil strips with the mass come into the range of action of a vibrating device and then go to the purpose of solidifying the filled
Mass through a cooling device. The objects then pass into the closing device with the film material that partially envelops them.
The invention is based on a locking device known for other purposes, which consists of a lower part and an upper part, which are axially displaceable relative to one another and in which a
Lower punch or an upper punch are axially displaceable.
In order to be able to close the mentioned objects made of chocolate or chocolate-like masses covered with metal foil material, the invention is characterized in that after the transfer of the flat solid or filled objects formed by pouring the masses into the pre-embossed depressions of metal foil strips with the foil material partially encasing them on the lower ram and placing a cover on the object of the upper part of the closing device and the upper ram are moved axially against the lower ram. As the lower punch recedes, the edges of the wrapping material projecting over the objects are bent up.
When the lower ram moves through the upper part and the upper ram, the edges are finally folded over onto the cover lying on the surface of the objects, i. H. folded over and pressed open.
There is the following possibility in carrying out the invention. The film material partially enveloping the objects is divided into individual sections before the closing process is initiated in such a way that the edge protruding over the objects remains.
The arrangement can also be made in such a way that the lower part and the upper part of the closing device are simultaneously designed as a punching tool for punching out the film strip receiving the objects and that the upper part and the upper punch are also designed simultaneously as a punching tool for the covers from a film strip.
Another feature of the invention is characterized in that a tacking device for the covers is provided in front of the closing device or within the same, which has heatable tacking stamps by means of which the covers are tacked onto the compound. Due to the brief heating of the mass and the simultaneous pressing by the stapling die, the covers are fixed on the objects in such a way that they cannot move in the closing device during the further work process.
The invention is illustrated in two exemplary embodiments in the drawings. 1 shows a longitudinal section through one embodiment, FIGS. 2-6 cross sections through this embodiment in different working positions, FIG. 7 shows a cross section through a second embodiment, FIGS. 8-13 further working positions of the second embodiment, and FIG an additional device.

1 are the objects made from chocolate or chocolate-like masses that are essentially flat and. Rectangular in the first embodiment and round in the second embodiment. These objects are created by the fact that the mass is poured into depressions in a metal foil strip. In the casting process, the metal foil strip forms the shape at the same time as its depressions and remains around the object as an envelope after the mass has solidified. training material.
2 are the indentations provided by embossing in the metal foil strip. 2 'are those about the
Objects protruding edges of the metal foil tape and 3 the covers, which are also made of
Metal foil or another material can exist. The metal foil 2 serving as a cover is in each case dotted and the covering material 3 is shown in dot-dash lines.
The closing station consists of the lower part 4, in which a lower ram 5 is arranged displaceably, and an upper part 6 with an upper ram 7 that can be displaced therein. The upper part 6 has a bevel 10 on its lower end face, which is directed inward and upward. This bevel can also be designed as a hollow indentation. The upper part and the lower part can be moved towards and away from each other in the axial direction.
The device according to FIGS. 1 - 6 serves the purpose of folding over or folding over and pressing the protruding edges 2 ′ onto the covers 3.
The mode of operation is as follows: The film mold 2 filled with the chocolate mass 1 is placed on the lower punch 5 in the sealing device after being separated from the film strip. Before this, a cover 3 is placed on the surface of the object.
Then the upper part 6 lowers with the upper punch 7 (FIG. 2). When lowering further, the upper punch 7 steps on the cover sheet 3 and pushes this and the object 1 in front of it into the lower part. As a result, the protruding edge 2 'of the film 2 is positioned vertically upwards. Now the lower punch 5 goes up. The upper punch 7 deviates upward beforehand. The protruding edges 2 'of the film material are diverted inwards from the inclined surface 10 of the upper part and turned over (FIG. 4). The upper punch 7 then goes down again and presses the folded edges 2 ′ of the film material onto the covers 3. The object is thus tightly enclosed on all sides in the envelope 2 and the folded or folded edges 2 ′ lie flat on the cover 3.
The deflection surface 10 is preferably designed to be hollow, so that the film strips 2 ′ are deflected well inward.
After the position of the individual parts according to FIG. 6 has been reached, the object 1 with its casing 2 and the cover 3 is released. The finished item can be carried away.
The cross-section of the upper part 6 is slightly smaller than the cross-section of the lower part 4 so that the upwardly directed edges 2 'strike the inclined surface of the upper part 6 when moving upward, slide inwardly on it and are thus turned over.
The exemplary embodiment according to FIGS. 7-13 differs from the exemplary embodiment according to FIGS. 1-6 in that this closing device is designed at the same time as a punching device.
The lower part 4 and the upper part 6 'are designed as punching tools that work together. The upper part 6 ′ and the upper punch 7 ′ likewise form a punching tool. For this purpose, the upper part 6 ′ has two cutting edges 11 and 12, the lower part 4 has a cutting edge 13 and the upper punch 7 ′ has a cutting edge 17.
The film strip 2 "with the chocolate bodies is inserted into the combined closing and punching device according to FIG. 7. The film strip 3 used for covering is inserted over the upper part 6 'and under the upper punch 7'.
Then the lower part 4 goes up. At this moment (FIG. 8), the lower part 4 is positioned against the lower cutting edge 12 of the upper part 6 ′, as a result of which the shape with the film material 2 is held immovably. The upper punch 7 ′ then goes down and punches the cover part 3 from the film material 3 ′ and presses it onto the object 1 (FIG. 9). The material 3 ′ remaining around the cover part 3 remains as waste. The lower part 4 then goes up and, in cooperation with the upper part 6 ', punches the film material 2. 2 'in such a way that an edge 2' remains, which at the same time, as FIG. 10 shows, is bent upwards. The material 2 "remains as waste.
When the lower punch 5 goes up, the protruding edges 2 'on the inclined surfaces 10 are removed.
EMI2.1
As soon as the individual parts of the device then diverge again in the axial direction. the object remains completely wrapped on the lower punch 5 and can be carried away accordingly.
<Desc / Clms Page number 3>
In order to prevent the covering material 3 from shifting, particularly in the embodiment according to FIGS. 1-6, it can be attached beforehand to the object 1 by means of heatable stamps 18 (FIG. 14). The heatable stamps 18 are seated on a corresponding heating element 17. For this purpose, the objects 1 with the covering 2, 2 'that partially encloses them run over a support stamp 15 which is vertically displaceable in a housing 14 and is under the action of a spring 16.
This tacking device can sit as an additional part in front of the locking device or be built into the locking device itself.
