Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zur Steuerung eines atmosphärischen Gasbrenners für Heizgeräte, insbesondere Wassererhitzer, mit einer Gaszufuhreinrichtung (14) und einer Injektoranordnung (16) für das Brenngas-Luft-Gemisch, sowie mit einer Überwachungseinrichtung (38) zur Erfassung der Flammenposition. Es wird vorgeschlagen, daß beim Überschreiten eines bestimmten Abstandes der Flammen in Bezug zur Brenneroberfläche die Brennerleistung angehoben wird. Damit kann der Regel- bzw. Modulationsbereich des Gasbrenners ohne zusätzliche Bauteile an die unterschiedlichen Betriebsbedingungen (Gasartenwechsel, Kaltstart des Brenners etc.) unter Beibehaltung einer stabilen Verbrennung angepaßt werden.

It is proposed that the burner output be increased when a certain distance between the flames and the burner surface is exceeded. The control or modulation range of the gas burner can thus be adapted to the different operating conditions (gas type change, cold start of the burner, etc.) without additional components while maintaining stable combustion.
