  16. The wiping cloth according to claim 15, characterised in that the wiping cloth is constructed as double-layered.
  17. The wiping cloth according to any one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the wiping cloth is constructed in its longitudinal extension, that is the extension parallel to the strands (2), as slightly longer than the device body (7).
  18. The wiping cloth according to any one of the preceding claims, characterised in that a cross-piece (6) is affixed to the strands (2) at the same distance from a fixing line (4) for the strip (3) respectively from the highest and lowest position of the strand face in the rest position to the corresponding position of the opposite strand.
  19. A system comprising a floor cleaning device with a device body (7) as holder and a wiping cloth affixed to the device body (7),
    wherein the device body (7) has specific dimensions suitable for the wiping cloth and the wiping cloth is free from pockets and holding loops,
    wherein the wiping cloth has parallel running profiles (2) formed from strands on at least two sides opposite one another and a wiping cloth region (3) formed from a strip, arranged between the strands (2),
    wherein the strands (2) with the strip (3) form a receptacle for the device body (7) and the strands (2) are arranged and constructed so that when the device body (7) is placed thereon, they are in clamping contact with the device body (7),
