Abstract
Description
The invention is directed to a tool for the complete Joining profiled boards with tongue and groove, with one elongated shape, surrounded by a lateral surface, the Shell surface has a flat underside that at least one Long edge in a profiled section perpendicular to the underside passes over to the tongue or groove end face of the Profile boards is complementary shaped, and being in the to this section opposite cladding area a face for exposure to a Hammers or the like is provided.
Such a tool is, for example, from the German Offenlegungsschrift 195 39 388 known. Here, the profiling of the tool with the accessible face of a profile board engaged so that on a hammer strikes the rear face of the tool a section of the end face of the tool corresponding to the length of the tool Profile boards are distributed. A clumsy hammer blow can however, quickly happen that the known tool around the Engagement area of the profiles tilts so that the adjacent upper edge of the Profile boards is squeezed, which represents irreparable damage to the attached to such a laid profile board for life.
This results from this disadvantage of the prior art Problem initiating the invention, by a suitable construction of the Tools to make sure that even the most clumsy Never handle the top edge of a profiled board to be installed can be damaged.
To solve this problem, the invention provides a generic Tool that the upper area of the profiled in the assembly position Section that corresponds to the profile board above tongue and groove, compared to that with the profile board below tongue and groove corresponding lower area of the profiled section of the Tool is set back to the center. As a result of this offset there is no point of contact between the top edge of the profile board and the tool according to the invention, and even if it tilts forward, therefore the top edge of the profile board cannot be squeezed.
To optimize the work result, the invention further provides that the recessed upper area of the profiled section extends up to the Tongue or tongue of the profile board extends so that when fully on Profile board attached tool up to the spring of the profile board or a spring of the tool reaching gap between the profile board and the tool remains. In this case, the top one will result Contact point only at the tongue and groove connection, which, however, of the overhanging area of the grooved profile board is covered, so that there deformations that occur are not visible from the outside.
The amount of displacement of the top of the profiled section compared to the lower range is in a range from 0.5 mm to 20 mm, preferably from 1 mm to 10 mm, and in particular from 2 mm to 5 mm. This results in an exercise of the craftsman concerned corresponding safety reserve, the narrower dislocation dimensions especially reserved for professional craftsmen, while at the larger dislocation dimensions, even completely inexperienced do-it-yourselfers Can cause damage.
In a first embodiment, the underside can be profiled on its Section opposite longitudinal edge in about to the bottom pass perpendicular face, which is approximately up to the height of the Profile boards extends. This embodiment allows i.a. a hands-free Use too where the tool is not on its bottom floor or beams underneath can be guided. Because the face according to the invention lies exactly in the profiled area opposite, so that the direction of force of the hammer blows unchanged on the relevant end face of the profile board can be transferred and tilting of the tool is avoided.
In another embodiment it is provided that the Underside at one longitudinal edge merges into a profiled section, which is complementary to the groove of the profile board, and that the bottom on the other longitudinal edge merges into a profiled section, which is the spring the profile board is complementary. This tool is capable of one Perform dual function by both hitting it on punches the grooved face of a profile board allows as well as that with one Feathered face.
The tool according to the invention can be further developed in that the Face is inclined converging upward to the tool longitudinal axis. This face, which is laid upwards, is inclined so that the tool is at a striking hammer blow not around the opposite, profiled edge tilts. This measure supports the effect of the offset area of the profiling by tilting the tool according to the invention is excluded from the outset. Thereby the second embodiment is favored, in that on a vertical The face is completely dispensed with and therefore space for a second, complementary profile section is created.
Additional advantages can be achieved in that the angle between the inclined face and the bottom of the tool in one This is in the range from 45 ° to 85 °, preferably around 60 ° to 75 ° Area represents an optimal compromise, because on the one hand one unwanted tilting of the tool according to the invention effective encountered, while on the other hand the impact of the blow almost undiminished on the relevant end face of the profile board to be installed is initiated.
The versatility of the tool according to the invention can also thereby be promoted that one or both end faces of the tool the have profiled section, the tongue or groove of the profile board is complementary. Often, profile boards also need to be relative inadequate places are laid, which are visually visible, where, however, a person with a hammer can hardly suffice, e.g. in Window niches below already installed radiators. Here they offer end faces profiled according to the invention the possibility of using the tool its longitudinal extension in a vertical orientation compared to the profiled To use the end face of the profile board to be installed and thereby the Striking face in an area of the To move the room.
By fully adhering to the preceding design rules are, the tool according to the invention takes about the shape of a upturned box cake baking pan and is therefore out to everyone comparable tools known from the prior art with regard to its volume significantly reduced, so that without affecting the Function a substantial part of the weight can be saved.
It is also possible that the complementarily profiled section has a groove has, in which a spring can be inserted. In that case it can Tool according to the invention first with a circumferential groove and so that they are produced symmetrically in two respects, and then correspondingly shaped on two sides in this groove Springs inserted, e.g. glued in.
In a further improved embodiment, the one for mounting a Groove provided groove a dovetail-shaped profile on, the counterpart of which is provided on the spring element to be fitted. Different tongue elements can thus be inserted into the relevant groove are inserted so that, for example, a metal spring can be used that cannot be damaged even when used improperly.
Finally, it corresponds to the teaching of the invention that the invention Tool made from hardwood and impregnated to protect it from moisture is. In principle, the tool according to the invention could also consist of one impact-resistant plastic are made, but such materials are relative expensive compared to hardwoods. On the other hand, the invention Never deform the tool due to the molded or molded profiles, so that any moisture is kept away from the hardwood should. The impregnation according to the invention serves this purpose.

5 und entspricht damit der Stärke eines Profilbretts 10.The tool 1 according to the invention has approximately the shape of an inverted box cake baking pan
with an oblong-
By the tool 1 according to the invention with one of its
The tool 1 is made of hardwood, which is more powerful Can defy hammer blows permanently, and that is still cheaper than almost all other materials of appropriate hardness.
In embodiment 1, the
