In Figur 1, welche eine erfindungsgemäße Vorrichtung in einer schematischen
Schnittdarstellung zeigt, sind ein erster Zylinder 1 und ein zweiter Zylinder 2 angedeutet,
welche eng benachbart übereinander angeordnet sind. Dazwischen befindet
sich in einem Gehäuse 3 eine Waschwalze 4, welche von einem Motor 5
über ein nicht dargestelltes Getriebe oder einen Riemen angetrieben wird. Anstelle

und an der Abstreifeinrichung 10 von der Waschwalze 4 abgeschleuderten
Schmutz fort.A
Die Waschwalze 4 ist so angeordnet, daß ihre Rotationsachse parallel zu den Rotationsachsen
der Zylinder 1 und 2 steht. Unterhalb ihrer Rotationsachse weist
die Umfangsfläche 13 der Waschwalze 4 einen ersten Winkelbereich ϕ auf, in
welchem sie durch eine Öffnung des Gehäuses 3 übersteht. Mit einer (nicht dargestellten)
Mechanik kann das Gehäuse 3 mit der Waschwalze 4 so an den ersten
Zylinder 1 angestellt werden, daß die Umfangsfläche 13 der Waschwalze 4 im ersten
Winkelbereich ϕ Kontakt mit dem ersten Zylinder 1 erhält und diesen reinigt.
Gleichzeitig weist die Umfangsfläche 13 oberhalb der Rotationsachse der
Waschwalze 4 einen zweiten Winkelbereich ψ auf, in welchem die Umfangsfläche
13 durch eine zweite Öffnung des Gehäuses 3, welche der ersten Öffnung gegenüberliegt,
über das Gehäuse 3 übersteht und zum Reinigen des zweiten Zylinders
2 mit diesem in Kontakt treten kann.The
Die Vorrichtung kann durch eine kleine Linearbewegung des Gehäuses 3 nach
links, welche vom Fingerschutzblech 11 nicht mitgemacht wird, gleichzeitig an
den ersten Zylinder 1 und den zweiten Zylinder 2 angestellt werden, wodurch eine
simultane Reinigung der beiden Zylinder 1 und 2 erfolgt: Die Waschwalze 4
dreht sich während des Reinigungsvorgangs vorzugsweise im Uhrzeigersinn, so
daß zunächst im ersten Winkelbereich ϕ Ablagerungen und Verunreinigungen
am ersten Zylinder 1 angelöst und abgehoben werden. Danach wird im zweiten
Winkelbereich ψ der zweite Zylinder 2 gereinigt. Hierbei benetzen die Sprührohre
6 und 7 die Waschwalze 4 mit Reinigungsflüssigkeiten 8 und 9, beispielsweise

Claims (11)
- Device for cleaning cylinders of a printing press,with a driven wash roll (4), the rotational axis of which is parallel to the rotational axis of a first cylinder (1) to be cleaned and the circumferential surface (13) of which comprises a first angular range () which is provided for contact with the first cylinder (1), and a second angular range (ψ) which is offset from the first angular range () and is provided for contact with a second cylinder (2) adjacent to the first cylinder (1),with a motor (5) for driving the wash roll (4),with means (6, 7) for spraying the wash roll (4) with cleaning liquids (8, 9) andwith a scraping appliance (10) for the wash roll (4),

- Device according to any one of claims 1 to 3, characterised in that the wash roll (4) is disposed such that it is simultaneously in contact with the first cylinder (1) and the second cylinder (2) during the cleaning operation.
- Device according to any one of claims 1 to 3, characterised in that an adjusting mechanism is associated with the wash roll (4), which mechanism brings the wash roll (4) into contact with either the first cylinder (1) or the second cylinder (2) during the cleaning operation.
- Device according to any one of claims 1 to 5, characterised in that the first cylinder (1) and the second cylinder (2) are two blanket cylinders (16, 16', 17, 17') in a H-pressure unit (14) of an offset printing press.
- Device according to any one of claims 1 to 6, characterised in that the wash roll (4) is a brush roll.
- Device according to any one of claims 1 to 6, characterised in that the wash roll (4) is provided with a permanent or a replaceable wash covering.
- Device according to any one of claims 1 to 8, characterised in that the scraping appliance (10) is disposed above the rotational axis of the wash roll (4).
- Device according to any one of claims 1 to 9, characterised in that a separate means (6, 7) for spraying cleaning liquid is in each case associated with the first angular range () and the second angular range (ψ).
- Device according to any one of claims 1 to 10, characterised in that the wash roll (4) is disposed in a housing (3) which is provided with a respective separate opening for the first and the second angular range (,ψ) of the circumferential surface (13) of the wash roll (4).
