Description

Floor nozzle for a cleaning device, especially for one Vacuum cleaner, with a brush device and so movable by actuating a handling element Brush holder, the brush device between a work and a non-work position movable the brush holder is pivotally mounted for it is, the pivot axis of the brush holder in the area of Brush device is arranged, a first on the brush holder identifies trained swivel connection element, that with a second, on a housing part of the floor nozzle arranged pivot connection element in operative connection stands.

A floor nozzle of this type is from DE-A-3 014 296 known.

Floor nozzles of this type are particularly associated with Household vacuum cleaners known. They mostly point in the front Nozzle section a strip-shaped brush device that, if necessary, from a non-working position into a Can be brought into the working position in which it is on the ground, attacks the carpet or the like, for example. There is a swivel and lifting mechanism for moving the brush strip or the one having this Brush holder provided. A disadvantage of previously known Swiveling and lifting mechanisms is the remarkably large one Overall height of the entire floor nozzle, especially in the area of Brush strip, because there on the one hand due to the to be arranged Mechanical elements, on the other hand caused by the required space for retracting and extending the brush strip relatively much space is required. This great height proves to be particularly disadvantageous because this adversely affects the area of use of the floor nozzle because it is due to its considerable height it is no longer possible to lower them accordingly To push closets or other furniture so that there can no longer be sucked. Besides this disadvantage are also a considerable number in previously known floor nozzles Individual parts for realizing the swivel and lifting mechanisms required, which is both in manufacturing as also affects assembly technology negatively.

The invention is therefore based on the problem of a floor nozzle of the type mentioned at the beginning, which is low Height with simplicity of the entire mechanics having.

To solve this problem with a floor nozzle with the provided according to the invention, that the first pivot connector a cone or rib-like bearing approach and the second pivot connector one the bearing approach is the bearing approach.

To allow easy rotation of the bearing shoulder at least in the area engaging in the storage area can have a rounded contour.

It has to reduce the required individual elements proved to be particularly useful when the brush holder and the handling element for direct movement coupling are interconnected, that is, between Handling element, for example an adjusting lever, and the brush holder no further elements are arranged, what both the manufacture and the assembly extremely simple design. It can be done as part of a first Alternative design of the brush holder in an intervention intervene on the handling element, that is, they are two separate elements. Alternatively the brush holder and the handling element can also connected in one piece by means of a hinge joint be, which is due to a preferred embodiment the plastic elements expediently as Film hinge can be formed.

To prevent, especially when in working position located brush device due to movement the floor nozzle inadvertently the brush device is pivoted into the non-working position, as well as for Prevention of unintentional activation of the brush device by accidentally touching the handling element it turned out to be particularly useful if according to the brush holder and the Handling element designed in this way or coupled to movement are that the pivoting movement of the brush holder against a restoring force. According to this expedient execution of the invention must therefore have a minimum force, which overcomes the mechanical restoring force, be used to initiate a movement at all, that is, any unintended movements will be avoided. It has proven to be particularly advantageous proven if according to the invention for generating the Restoring force on the brush holder one or more when swiveling deformable spring elements can be formed, these are expediently made of plastic become. The spring element or elements can expediently in extension of a carrier body, which is part of the brush carrier is formed, and with their ends, if necessary by means of a molded engagement element, engage in the engagement receptacle of the handling element, or be connected in one piece with the handling element. It should be noted here that the training of a single spring element may be sufficient, but in With regard to the required resilience of the training several spring elements that work simultaneously for one ensure uniform movement is appropriate.

It has also proven to be particularly advantageous if according to the brush holder and the Handling element designed or arranged in this way are that the spring element or elements in the two possible end positions of the brush holder are relaxed. This advantageously avoids that, especially at Training of the brush holder or the spring elements plastic this will lose tension over time, so get tired. Rather, the invention Design a permanent and safe work of the snapping switching process enables.

In a further development of the inventive concept can also be provided be that the lever-like portion of the handling element from the bearing point of the same on the housing part to the connection point with the brush holder shorter than the corresponding one lever-like section of the brush holder. hereby a gear ratio is realized in which the movement distance of the handling element is larger than that of the brush holder, which makes it a very "soft" switching, which is equally easy in the Handling is achievable. For example, if desired angle of rotation of the brush holder and thus the brush device between the working and the non-working position 30 °, the handling element, which according to a expedient embodiment of the inventive concept pivotably arranged on a housing part of the floor nozzle can be pivoted, for example, by 60 °. to Limitation of the swivel movement and thus to define the Working and non-working position can be according to the invention on Brush holder and / or on the handling element with one Another element cooperating stop element is provided his. According to the invention, this can be done on the brush holder trained stop element in the form of a recess be used to limit movement with one in this engaging stop shoulder of a housing part interacts.

The floor nozzle 1 according to the invention shown in FIG. 1 exists of an upper housing part 2, and a lower housing part 3, these by connecting elements, not shown are attached to each other. A strip-like brush device 4 is on a brush holder 5 consisting of a Carrier body 6 arranged. The carrier body 6 is shown in FIG Embodiment provided a brush recess 7, in which the brush device 4 is held. At the Brush body 6 is a first pivot connection element 8 molded in the form of a bearing boss 9, which at its The outer contour is essentially rounded. The Bearing approach 9 engages in a bearing receptacle 10, which on Lower housing part 3 is formed. The is also shown Swivel axis S1 around which the brush holder 6 and with it the brush device 4 is pivotable. On the brush holder 6, a further recess 11 is also formed in which engages a stop shoulder 12 of the lower housing part 3 and limits the pivoting movement, that is, both Parts work together in the form of a stop.

The brush holder 5 also has an extension on the holder body 6 the same molded spring elements 13, from which only one is shown in the example shown. In in practice, however, several are expediently provided. The spring elements serve to generate a restoring force, against which the pivoting movement takes place. The multiple spring elements 13 are at the ends by means of a web-like Engagement elements 14 connected. This web-like engagement element 14 engages in an engagement receptacle 15, which is formed on a handling element 16. The Handling element 16, in the example shown an adjusting lever, is in turn about the pivot axis S2 on the upper part of the housing 2 stored.

The dimensioning, arrangement and storage of the brush holder 5 and the handling element 16 are chosen so that in the end positions shown in Figs. 1 and 2 the spring elements 13 are each relaxed. Now going out 1, the handling element 16 with its engagement section 17 pressed down in the direction of arrow A, the engagement receptacle 15 moves along the dashed line drawn curve K2. Starting from the axis of rotation S1 would pivot the brush holder 5 around its Pivot axis S1, the engagement element 14 and with it the entire Walk brush holder 5 along curve K1. apparent the two curves K1 and K2 intersect. conditioned by the arrangement of the spring elements 13, these are but deformed when pivoted and generate a restoring force, against which the pivoting has to take place. During the pivoting, the brush device 4 in Swiveled in the direction of arrow B. The non-working position, the taken at the end of the pivoting is shown in FIG. In this position they are Spring elements 13 in turn relaxes, which results from that the engaging element 14 and the engaging receptacle 15 at the common intersection of the two curves K1 and K2 lie, as is also the end position shown in FIG. 1 the case is. Through this simple, on a spring effect based construction is a secure snap during of the switching process.

The brush device is in the position shown in FIG. 2 4 as far as the inside of the floor nozzle 1, that she can no longer attack on the ground. Should now Floor nozzle brought back into the position shown in Fig. 1 , it would only be necessary to use the handling element with its further operating section 18 in Direction of arrow C downward, causing the Spring elements 13 are in turn deformed and tensioned. If the swivel is strong enough, the mechanism snaps due to the spring force generated in the corresponding another position, the brush device 4 folds in the direction of arrow D. As clearly shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, are the two effective levers here between the pivot axis S1 and the connection point of the engagement element 14 with the engagement receptacle 15 on the one hand and the pivot axis S2 with the connection point of different sizes. This different dimensioning of the two lever-like lengths causes the handling element by a larger angular section is to be moved when the brush holder 5 goes through, that is, a translation is realized. It can also be seen that the spring elements 13 are angled are molded onto the brush body. This causes one normal shifting a pure bending deformation of the spring elements 13, whereas the spring elements 13 when trying to get the brush strip in some way twist, be subjected to compression and thus yourself lock against twisting.

Finally, Fig. 3 shows in the form of a section Schematic diagram resulting from the configuration according to the invention of the Boderi nozzle Height. Shown is the lower housing part 3 and an upper housing part 2a of the floor nozzle according to the invention, and a housing part 2b a floor nozzle according to the prior art with vertical displacement of the brush device. apparent the upper housing part 2b is significantly higher with respect of the lower housing part 3 arranged as the upper housing part 2a. This is necessary in the prior art, because starting from the one in the working position Brush device 4 this vertically up into the 19 marked non-working position. In contrast, in the floor nozzle according to the invention Non-working position 20 due to the pivoting one others, as Fig. 3 clearly shows. This possibility of pivoting but allows the height to be reduced.
