Definitions
- the invention relates to a device in a switch for pressing a tongue against a stock rail and simultaneously pulling the other tongue from an opposing stock rail.
- clamp middle closures or fork middle closures are installed in the area of the narrowest groove, that is mostly in the area of the full head width of the tongue. In this way it can be achieved that the tongue to be driven is in contact with the support areas provided for this purpose, and that the minimum drive-through groove is not undershot between the stock rail and the remote tongue.
- the adjacent tongue is clamped by the clamp to the stock rail, while the closed tab is only pressed against the stock rail with a certain force and the lying tongue is opened to a groove width of 58 mm.
- the known spring rockers also have the disadvantage that they have only one or a maximum of two springs. If the single spring breaks, the spring rocker is completely inoperative. The situation is similar with two existing springs and the breakage of one spring, since the only remaining spring can no longer apply the force required to change the tongues. Both spring rocker types are therefore no longer functional if a spring breaks and must be repaired or replaced in a costly or time-consuming manner. Furthermore, the drive linkage for the fork middle lock has defects which are primarily caused by temperature-related changes in length of the drive linkage at low or high temperatures.
- the invention has for its object to provide a generic device for switching tongues in switches without the disadvantages mentioned above.
- a movement device designed with at least four adjustable spring assemblies is arranged between the cheek rails / tongues of the switch.
- the required minimum groove width of 58 mm is exactly adhered to, so that the wheel back of a wheel can pass this groove area without starting, which is particularly important at high speeds. Due to the high pressure forces exerted by the four spring assemblies - there is also the option of the movement device with six spring assemblies equip - fork and clamp means locks can be omitted.
- thedemonstratessvorrich ⁇ device is designed as a spring rocker and has a tandem spring assembly in its center and a spring assembly at its left and right ends.
- Each spring assembly consists of a spring cup that receives the actual spring, which is arranged on a push rod.
- the spring rocker is V-shaped. In the middle there are two spring packages lying side by side; Above all, the tandem arrangement ensures that the spring rocker remains functional in the event of a break in one of the adjacent springs.
- the spring assemblies which are still articulated on the outer ends of the spring rocker, serve primarily to increase the forces to be applied.
- the spring cups of the spring assemblies are advantageously mounted in a supporting frame because this can be firmly connected to a threshold in a simple manner.
- the outer ends of the spring rocker are connected to the tongues of the switches via slide rods. The spring rocker is switched by the movement of the tongue with the help of a switch drive motor, which is arranged in the area of the tongue tip.
- a further embodiment of the invention provides that the slide rods have toothing.
- the tongues are adjustably connected to the slide rods via this toothing. This makes it possible to compensate for manufacturing tolerances, but in particular, depending on the position of the spring rocker in the tongue device, to adapt certain groove widths and certain tongue head thicknesses to the respective conditions, including the preload force of the springs.
- the spring rocker according to the invention is advantageously installed in a box sleeper. As a result, their functionality can be maintained much better because the spring rocker is protected against environmental influences and, in addition, the tamping of this box threshold can be carried out automatically by a switch tamping machine. This reduces the maintenance effort and the susceptibility to failure of the Switch significantly reduced.
- Two simple mechanical tongue testers can be used to monitor the two tongues, since the otherwise necessary signaling monitoring of the drive linkage of a necessary fork means lock is omitted.
- FIG. 1 shows a switch set device arranged in a box sleeper with a movement device arranged therein, shown in longitudinal section;
- FIG. 2 shows the box sleeper according to FIG. 1, in a top view
- FIG. 3 shows two springs lying side by side, which are arranged with spring pots in the box sleeper, cut along the line I-I of FIG. 1;
- a switch device 1 arranged in a box sleeper 2 is shown.
- the two stock rails 3, 4 are braced with the box sleeper 2.
- a movement device in the form of a spring rocker 5 is arranged in the middle of the box sleeper 2.
- the spring rocker 5 consists of a V-shaped profile Basic supporting element 6, which has two spring assemblies 8, 9 in tandem arrangement (see FIG. 2), which are arranged in the center in the middle and moveable via push rods 7, while outer spring assemblies 12, 13 have ends 10, 11 of the V-shaped supporting element 6 their push rods 7 are arranged.
- the spring cups 14 of the springs 8, 9 and 12, 13 are rotatably mounted about their horizontal axis 15 in a support frame 16 which is screwed to the floor 17 of the box sleeper 2 (cf. FIGS. 3 and 4).
- the pressure force of the spring assemblies 8, 9 and 12, 13 can be adjusted continuously between 50 N and 400 N via an adjusting nut 18.
- slide rods 20, 21 are further fastened by means of a screw-nut combination 19.
- the other ends 22, 23 of the slide rods 20, 21, which are removed from the spring rocker 5, are connected via pressure pieces 24, 25 with tongue clamps 26, 27 to a tongue 28 each resting on the stock rail 3 and a tongue 29 each pulled off the stock rail 4.
- the slide rods 20, 21 each have teeth 30, 31 in the area of the pressure pieces 24, 25, by means of which the tongue blocks 26, 27 on the slide rods 20, 21 can be adjusted in a grid pattern. This is done by loosening and lifting the pressure pieces in order to put them back on the slide rod and fasten them elsewhere. This makes it possible, depending on the position of the spring rocker 5 in the switch device 1, to maintain certain groove widths, but also to adapt certain tongue head thicknesses to the respective conditions, such as the pretensioning force of the spring assemblies 8, 9 and 12, 13.
- a standard tongue tester 33 which, depending on the spatial situation, can also be arranged on the right in front of the head of the box sleeper 2 - as shown alternatively by dash-dotted lines in FIGS. 1, 2.
- the tongue tester 33 is rigidly connected to the upper straps 36, 37 of the box sleeper 2 by means of two tie-bars 34, 35, and two tongue test bars 38, 39 establish a mechanical connection from the tongue tester 33 to the two tongues 28, 29 (cf. also FIG. 2 ).
- the signal-technical monitoring of the two tongues 28, 29 is thus reliably ensured. 5a to 5d, an adjustment of the tongues 28, 29 by means of the spring rocker 5 is explained in more detail below.
- Fig. 5a the left-lying tongue 28 is pressed against the stock rail 3 and the right-lying tongue 29 is pulled so far from the stock rail 4 that the required minimum groove width of 58 mm is reached.
- the change is initiated by a movement of the tongues 28, 29 coupled to the spring rocker 5 with the aid of a switch drive motor which is arranged in the region of the tongue tip (not shown here).
- FIG. 5b shows, when the tongues 28, 29 are moved, the remote tongue 29 first moves in the direction of the stock rail 4, and with a time delay the tab 28 resting on the other stock rail 3 is released against the spring force. This release occurs approximately when the remote tongue 29 has covered a path according to the double arrow 41 to the stock rail 4 with the spring rocker 5. From this point in time, the tongue 28 is pulled off the stock rail 3, and subsequently the tongue 29 abuts the stock rail 4, as shown in FIG. 5c.
- FIG. 5d it is shown how the spring assemblies 8, 9 and 12, 13 are completely turned over and thus on the one hand press the tongue 29 with a force comparable to a clamp closure against the stock rail 4 and on the other hand the tongue 28 by at least 58 mm from the left stock rail 3 pull away and hold securely in position.
