Definitions
- the invention relates to a method and a device for high-purity bottling of beverages.
- beverages such as sodas or mineral water containing CO 2
- sodas or mineral water containing CO 2 do not require an elevated temperature of the product at the time of bottling. There it is sufficient to pay attention to adequate industrial hygiene in order to be able to produce durable packs in the microbiological sense.
- beverages containing alcohol and / or CO 2 if they enable the development of certain microorganisms and thus spoilage, require additional plant equipment to combat them, such as external washings, disinfection options and sterile media.
- Such filling processes generally include the filling of products such as wine, sparkling wine or beer or also microbiologically sensitive CO 2 -containing soft drinks.
- “high purity” is understood to mean a filling process in an atmosphere in which only germs of the order of up to a few 100 per cubic meter of air prevail, in particular less than 100, which is also understood below as “clean room conditions” . If, on the other hand, there is talk of "clean” or “clean room conditions”, this means a germ count of the order of 10,000, but in particular less than 10,000 germs per cubic meter of air.
- the invention relates to methods and devices of this kind. Another characteristic is that in Generally without such preservatives Products are filled at room temperature and that while doing so there is no thermal after-treatment of the packs.
- a known method of this type is e.g. in the European patent application 0120 789.
- the bottle flow led a first rinser.
- the area where the rinser is arranged is itself under sterile air.
- the bottles are treated so that they are highly pure.
- the bottles will have a longer L-shaped shape Transport route transported through the clean room and then meet a second rinser who is in one Room is arranged, in which clean room atmosphere again prevails.
- the germs and bacteria that put the bottles on their way from the first rinser to the second rinser through the Clean room are included here neutralized again.
- the bottle flow enters the fountain pen, which is also located in the clean room.
- the invention is based on this prior art the problem underlying a method and an apparatus for high-purity bottling of beverages to indicate with which the effort and in particular the operation a corresponding system much cheaper and can nevertheless be carried out with a higher degree of purity as before.
- the bottles first from a normal environment into the dirty side of a a dirt side and a clean room side Immersion bath sterilizer performed. There go through the Bottles different on a track, at least partially overlying and / or adjacent immersion baths and pass at least one of the dirt side of the wall separating the clean room side. At the outlet of the They will be sent to the clean room side of the immersion bath sterilizer Inlet star of a rotary filler and from there to one Hand over capper. Filler and capper are in arranged in a room in which at least clean room conditions prevail, in the immediate area of the filling organs and in immediate area of the closing organs, however Clean room conditions generated.
- the bottles only pass through an immersion bath sterilizer.
- the immersion bath sterilizer is in at least two rooms with different degrees of purity are separated.
- the at least one corresponding partition can Separate the inlet side from the outlet side so that the bottles when they come out of the immersion bath sterilizer run out, have the highest degree of purity.
- the bottles are then different from the prior art not over a long distance through a clean room led where they can take up germs again, but are immediately handed over to the rotary filler.
- ink pen and cappers only need to be placed in one room in which clean room conditions prevail, not that highest level of purity is present if taken care of will that only in the immediate areas of Filling organs and in the immediate area of the Closure organs have clean room conditions. This can through appropriate local sterile air supply measures be realized.
- Such a measure ensures that the bottles from the dirty side to the clean room side none Take impurities with you.
- the immersion bath provides the Sluice between clean room and dirt side. Special sealing measures are then not necessary.
- the bottles on spiral paths through the immersion bath sterilizer passed through ensures that the required cleaning steps on relative can be carried out in a confined space.
- a tunnel In such a tunnel, it is relatively easy Generate clean room conditions.
- the air volumes are not very large, so that this measure of operating costs especially with regard to the availability of Sterile air can be kept low.
- the device according to the invention comprises a Immersion bath sterilizer, the inside of at least one Partition into a dirty side and a clean room side is divided, a rotary filler, which is immediately attached the clean room-side outlet of the immersion bath sterilizer is connected to a capper in the immediate vicinity Connection to the rotary filler and facilities to Area of the bottle conveyor from the clean room side Spout of the immersion bath sterilizer up to the outlet from the Maintainer clean room conditions.
- the device consists essentially of two Main components, namely the immersion bath sterilizer and the Rotary filler exists that are directly adjacent to each other are then arranged, the space required entire system kept low. Because further Facilities are provided to clean room conditions in the area of the bottle conveyor from Immersion bath sterilizer up to the capper It is not necessary to maintain the whole Space in which the filler and the capper are arranged are to operate under such conditions. Facilities that are suitable these Clean room conditions in the area of the bottle conveyor are to be observed, e.g. tunnel-like sheathing of the Bottle conveyor or cladding in the area of Filling organs that allow targeted sterile air into this Initiate areas.
- the partition provided there inside is a Essentially vertical partition.
- the partition can simply remove the dirt side of the Separate the clean room side.
- the bottles can then be in a relatively narrow space go through different treatment steps.
- the rotary filler and the Cappers arranged in a clean room the Dimensions are only so much larger that Maintenance work on the filler and capper is possible.
- the dimensions of the filler and the capper surrounding clean room are as small as possible kept, which in turn the cost of maintaining lowers the clean room conditions.
- closure elements applied to the bottles by the capper, by outside of the clean room by a Disinfection device through the capper promoted. This ensures that the Closure elements meet high purity requirements.
- the locking elements can be engaged without the clean room area be pushed again and again.
- At least outside the clean room at least one Sterile air generator is arranged, which through the Pipes running clean room to the side of the area of the Filler rotor opens into the clean room area ensures that sterile air is the purest The requirements are sufficient, directly in the area of the filling elements the filler is introduced, i.e. where it actually is is needed.
- the device according to the invention is in one schematic, perspective view shown.
- Man recognizes an immersion bath sterilizer 2, its outlet side opens into a room 1, in which a rotary filler 3 and a capper 4 are housed.
- a rotary filler 3 and a capper 4 are housed.
- Treatment machines directly to the rotary filler 3 connected.
- the room 1 is through a ceiling 22 completed, on which a sterile air blower 23rd located. This creates the sterile air using Filters that are not shown in detail.
- From Sterile air blower 23 leads a line 24 into the area in which the filling valves of the rotary filler 3 are arranged are.
- the capper 4 receives caps from one Storage container 21 of the closure feeder 5. From there the caps are placed in a disinfection bath 6 passed and pass through a lock 20 via a Line 26 to the closer 4.
- the area of the inlet star 18, the closer 4 and the circumferential area of the rotary filler 3 in the area of Filling valve is bordered with a wall 19 or surrounded, which extends to the immersion bath sterilizer 2.
- a wall 19 or surrounded which extends to the immersion bath sterilizer 2.
- an area separated from room 1 in the area of Bottle conveyor and bottle circulation created, in the 24 clean room atmosphere via the line can be maintained.
- Clean room atmosphere a very high sterility, e.g. in on the order of less than 100 germs per cubic meter.
- the rest of room 1 is under Clean room conditions (order of magnitude less than 10,000 germs per cubic meter).
- Immersion bath sterilizer 2 is shown in its construction in FIG to recognize schematically. Basically, is suitable as Immersion bath sterilizer 2 for use in connection with the present invention an immersion bath sterilizer as he e.g. in European Patent Application No. 92 113 599 is described, what is referred to here. However, this immersion bath sterilizer 2 must be modified that between dirt and Clean room side a clear separation takes place. This is in the immersion bath sterilizer 2 shown in FIG. 2 a partition 10 is present. Through the partition 10 is the Immersion bath sterilizer 2 in a clean room side 9 and one Dirt side 8 divided. Dirt side means that on this site no particular sterility prevails, but normal conditions, also in the Environment outside the immersion bath sterilizer 2 in the area of the conveyor belt 11 are present.
- a first immersion bath 14 is located themselves in the floor area.
- the wall 10 extends with her Lower edge 27 into this immersion bath 14 and thus forms a hydraulic lock. Germs from the dirt side 8 cannot go to clean room page 9.
- Laterally in plan view in the rear third of the immersion bath sterilizer 2 is a cathedral and above the first immersion bath Drip zone 15 created.
- the partition 10 has a in the upper area as hydraulic lock acting through bath 28, filled with a disinfectant, through which only in their Transport conveyor 13 shown endless conveyor chain without Bottles 7 back from the clean room side 9 to Dirt side 8 runs.
- the immersion bath sterilizer 2, the rotary filler 3 and the Capper 4 and the associated transport organs driven synchronously, with a single row, continuous bottle transport is realized.
- the Bottles 7 on the conveyor belt 12 des Immersion bath sterilizer 2, which at the same time Inlet conveyor belt of the rotary filler 3, are by a transport device, not shown, e.g. a Conveyor screw or a pocket belt according to division the conveyor chain of the immersion bath sterilizer 2 to the Hand over inlet star 18 of the rotary filler 3.
- the bottles 7 From the conveyor belt 12, the bottles 7 pass through the short one Tunnel 29 through and get into the engagement area of the Inlet star 18, which they to the rotary filler 3 to Fill passes. Get to the outlet of the rotary filler 3 the bottles 7 to the closer 4 and from the closer 4 then to the outlet 25, where they emerge from room 1 and for example a labeler, not shown be fed. From the clean room page 9 of the Immersion bath sterilizer 2 up to the outlet of the Capper 4 is through the tunnel 29 and the walls 19 in the area of the inlet star 18, the filling elements of the Rotary filler 3 and capper 4 a highly pure Sterile air atmosphere created by the Sterile air blower 23 has been generated via line 24 is. Of course, several such sterile air blowers can be used and in various places to the Sterile air areas are connected, also on Immersion bath sterilizer 2.
- the room size of room 1 is chosen so that it only insignificantly larger than that for the rotary filler 3 and Shooter 4 is required space, so that's one Operator easily access for maintenance work has kept the volume small overall can be.
- the immersion bath sterilizer 2 can partially in the Protrude into room 1.
- Bottled drinks in bottles or similar containers takes up little space and also achieves one high degree of purity because the bottles after the Immersion bath sterilizer up to their capper Maintain purity, not one exposed to less pure atmosphere become.
