Abstract

Selbsttätig schließende Brandschutzeinrichtung (10, 10'), insbesondere zur Abschottung eines Kanals (7) in einem Lüftungs- und/oder Klimatisierungssystem, als oder mit mindestens ein(em) schwenkbar angeordnete(s/n) Absperrelement (1, 1'), welches bei Hitzeeinwirkung nach Freigabe aus einer durch einen Schmelzlotkörper (3, 3') gebildeten Arretierung in einer zur Durchtrittsrichtung (9) im wesentlichen parallelen Offenstellung in eine im wesentlichen quer zur Kanalachse gerichteten Geschlossenstellung schwenkbar ist, wobei das Absperrelement ein in Offenstellung vorgespanntes Federelement (2, 2') oder ein mittels einer Feder vorgespanntes scharnierartiges Verbindungselement aufweist, welche(s) mit einer Kröpfung oder einer entsprechende Ausnehmung zur Aufnahme des Schmelzlotkörpers versehen ist, in welche der Schmelzlotkörper (3, 3' 3") derart eingebracht ist, daß das Federelement oder das scharnierartige Verbindungselement in seiner vorgespannten Stellung blockiert ist, solange der Schmelzlotkörper nicht geschmolzen ist.
