Abstract

Es wird ein Former mit einem Sieb, vorzugsweise mit einem Rundsieb angegeben, wobei zwischen dem Sieb (12) und einer von einer Stromführungswand gebildeten Oberlippe (16) ein verstellbarer Auslaufspalt (14) für aus einer Kammer (26) austretende Faserstoffsuspension gebildet ist, und wobei die Oberlippe (16) an ihrem ersten, der Kammer (26) abgewandten Ende mittels eines Druckmediums sowohl in Richtung auf das Sieb (12) als auch in die entgegengesetzte Richtung verstellbar geführt ist, und wobei die Oberlippe (16) vorzugsweise auch an ihrem zweiten, der Kammer (26) zugewandten Ende mittels eines Druckmediums schwimmend abgestützt ist. Auf diese Weise lassen sich Durchbiegungen der Oberlippe im Bereich des Einlaufspaltes weitgehend vermeiden.
