Definitions
- the present invention relates to an apron.
- aprons There are multiple kinds of aprons ranging simple aprons formed of a fabric or material panel similar, generally rectangular in shape or the lower part can be rounded, and the upper edge is extended by two ties that tie around the waist, in the back.
- aprons are extended by an upper part ending with a ramp that goes around the neck.
- Aprons used mainly for work in kitchen have both a functional and protective function, and a decorative function by the material in which they are made, colors, etc.
- the housewife In the kitchen, the housewife often has her hands wet, either by passing them under the tap after having does a messy job (cleaning vegetables, preparing meat, etc.) or that it held a wet object or product. Blle wipes her hands with a cloth and the professionals go even hanging a cloth on their belt to have it directly within reach for wiping hands. Generally we tends to ask wherever the tea towel is used and it is not aesthetic to see the tea towel lying around in the kitchen.
- the apron is used for wipe your hands. However, this wiping crumples the apron and often dirty it.
- the present invention therefore relates to an apron that protects clothes, while retaining its appearance aesthetic and facilitating the cleaning or drying of hands and especially to give the cloth always the same place close at hand thus preventing the cloth from lying unsightly on kitchen furniture (chair, radiator, workplan).
- the apron includes, a main panel intended to be put on a piece of clothing to protect it, a panel auxiliary in absorbent material and a hanging hook by the main panel at waist level to receive the removable auxiliary panel and hang it over the main panel.
- the absorbent material auxiliary panel of the apron of the invention protects not only the apron itself, that is to say the panel main against possible projections and splashes but it is easily accessible and available for wipe your hands dirty or wet and it comes off when you want to wipe the dishes and attaches at any time.
- This auxiliary panel is therefore used in the same way as a tea towel ; when it is dirty, it is easily removed for replace with another auxiliary panel, without having to remove apron.
- This auxiliary panel is also removed when the apron should be used more for decorative functions than protection. So, in certain occasions like for example when culinary preparations are made next to the table set or in circumstances such as wood fire outside, it is easy to keep the apron with the auxiliary panel at the start of operations to remove it and have a perfectly clean apron for the presentation or table service.
- the apron according to the invention and, in particular, the main panel can be a more or less descending half-deck, covering clothes from the waist.
- This panel can also be extended upwards to cover the chest and tie around the neck by a strap or a lace knotted.
- GB-A- ⁇ 818 997 does not show the disadvantage of a loss of function, like that of GB-A-2 297 ⁇ 22, although, when the removable panel is removed, the hooking means of the latter remains apparent. This has other drawbacks, such as that of receiving dirt that is difficult to remove, and that of not not protect the bulkhead against partial detachment of the auxiliary panel, especially in the corners.
- the invention is situated in this context and aims to overcome these disadvantages.
- the main panel has a flap covering the hanging strip, the inner surface of the flap being smooth or not hanging with the hanging strip.
- the attachment means is hidden by the flap provided on the apron (the flap is a bather in seamstress).
- This flap can be in the same material as the main panel or in a different material.
- the attachment means of the auxiliary panel on the main panel be a means to remove the panel auxiliary very simply and very easily, such as for example a hanging strip or an adhesive strip. But as such an attachment is easily detached, it is particularly interesting to cover the upper edge of the auxiliary panel by the flap which prevents the auxiliary panel from getting partially detaches, especially at the corners, under the effect of arm movement; conversely, this flap attenuates the projection that the edge of the auxiliary panel and the hanging means.
- the attachment means is only intended to receive the upper edge of the panel auxiliary, so as to leave the panel floating easily accessible for wiping hands (allowing use front of this auxiliary panel for wiping).
- the invention relates to an apron such as a kitchen apron consisting of a main panel 1 with, in this example, a trapezoidal upper part 2 finished with a strap 3 coming around the neck.
- the panel main 1 is equipped at the level of the size of the user, two fasteners 4, 5 to tie the deck around the cut.
- the main panel 1 is provided with a detachable hooking means 6 in the form, for example, hanging tape or adhesive tape.
- the apron also includes an auxiliary panel removable 7 of absorbent material such as absorbent fabric like the one we make the tea towels.
- This auxiliary panel 7 is preferably rectangular or square in shape and level from its upper edge it is provided with an additional hooking means 8 to cooperate with the attachment means 6 of the main panel.
- Auxiliary panel 7 attaches to the panel main 1 by its attachment means 8 on the means 6 of the main panel 1.
- the auxiliary panel can be flat or gathered its upper edge. By this system, it can be presented as more or less large widths.
- the auxiliary panel does not need additional attachment means.
- the main panel 1 comprises a flap 9 covering the fastening means 6 as well as the upper edge of the auxiliary panel 8 when it is put on in place as shown in Figure 1.
- This flap 9 is simply raised as shown in the Figure 2 to detach the auxiliary panel 8 when it is used to wipe dishes or when is dirty or you want to use or present the apron with only the main panel 1.
- the apron then presents the appearance of an apron usual, especially since in this case also the means hook 6 is hidden by the flap 9.
- the main panel 1 may include a means attachment 6 extending over its entire width or part large of its width to receive auxiliary panels 8 of variable width according to the conditions of use, to protect or cover a peripheral surface more or less important from the main panel.
- auxiliary panel 7 The attachment of the auxiliary panel 7 by its edge upper leaves this panel hanging like a cloth, which makes it easily accessible from the front and through the back to wipe your hands more easily.
- the panel auxiliary 7 of a hooking means 8 which gives it a certain swelling, for example forming slight folds, so that the auxiliary panel 7 comes into relief by compared to main panel 1 and makes it even easier to use as a cloth without having to touch the panel main 1.
- auxiliary panel 7 When the auxiliary panel 7 is soiled, it is easy to remove and replace with a new panel clean. You can also remove the panel 7 when the panel principal 1 must have the appearance, especially decorative, of a standard apron, for example for service.
- FIGS. 3A and 3B schematically show, with strongly exaggerated material thicknesses, the installation and use of the apron.
- the main panel 1 seen in cup is provided with a hooking means 6, for example in the form adhesive tape or fastening devices distributed throughout its surface.
- This attachment means 6 is covered by the flap 9 fastened along the seam or fastening line 10 to the panel principal 1.
- the attachment means 6 does not appear in These conditions.
- the bottom surface 11 of the flap may be smooth or not hanging, so as not to not get caught in the teeth or hooking means attachment 6.
- the flap 9 also prevents foreign bodies such as wires or other relatively thin elements and light, do not attach to the attachment means 6 and reduce its efficiency to hang the auxiliary panel on it.
- Figure 3B shows the placement of the panel auxiliary 7 by its attachment means 8 fixed to the means hooking 6 of the main panel 1; this assembly is there still covered by the flap 9.
- the main panel can be in very diverse, decorative, relatively fragile materials since these materials are protected by the auxiliary panel which is preferably made of an absorbent material.
- This auxiliary panel can be made of a fabric which is made the cloths, reusable, washable. It can also be a non-woven material that is thrown away when soiled.
- the apron according to the invention can be distributed with a number of auxiliary panels.
- the signs auxiliaries can also be disseminated in the form of refills for consumables such as materials nonwoven for disposable auxiliary panels.
