Definitions

  • the invention relates to a device for adjusting the side inclination of a shoe upper part of a sports shoe, which is pivotably mounted on a shell-shaped shoe lower part by means of pivot pins in the longitudinal direction of the shoe, with at least one actuator movably mounted on one of the shoe parts for height adjustment of at least one long side of the shoe.
  • Upper part in different height positions relative to the lower part of the shoe, and with a clamping device, with the help of which the upper part of the shoe can be locked on the lower part of the shoe in the set height position.
  • Such a device is used in particular in a ski shoe, ice skate or roller skate, and the lower part of the shoe is in particular a rigid shell or lower shell made of plastic, whereas the upper part of the shoe (also made of plastic) is a shaft or a cuff , but can also act a tailgate.
  • a device for adjusting the side inclination (so-called. Canting) of a shaft of a ski boot in which a toothed segment is fixedly arranged in the shaft, in which a toothed roller engages as an actuator, which is fixed but rotatable in the shoe shell is stored.
  • the toothed roller is mounted on a pull pin provided as a hinge pin, which is rotatably mounted in the shoe shell; a lever articulated on the draw bolt enables on the one hand a height adjustment of the shaft relative to the shoe shell by twisting and on the other hand also a fixation of this adjusted height position by clamping.
  • This arrangement is intended to achieve a gradual adjustment of the inclination of the shoe upper.
  • An intermediate piece is pressed against the outside of the sleeve via a head of the tension member, a height adjustment being made possible depending on the position of the intermediate piece relative to the longitudinal direction of the elongated hole.
  • Similar devices for lateral inclination adjustment based on mere clamping are known from US Pat. No. 4,567,617 A and EP 0 570 053 AI. These devices also do not allow a "real" controlled fine adjustment of the height position of the upper (namely the cuff) relative to the lower part (the shell).
  • a device for adjusting the side inclination of a shaft of a ski shoe relative to the boot shell in which the pivot point of the shaft lies in the heel area and a tilting bearing is provided for the shaft in this area.
  • Eccentric canting adjustment devices arranged on both sides of the ankle section in turn allow only a rough adjustment of the side inclination of the shaft relative to the shell.
  • the at least one actuator has at least one control surface which bears against the hinge pin of this longitudinal side of the shoe and which is used for height adjustment of the upper of the shoe under one Angle to the direction of movement of the actuator. Since this design corresponds to an "inclined plane” or “wedge surface”, the advantages of the latter also come into play, such as reduced effort, conversion of a horizontal force into a vertical force on the pivot pin and free choice of the slope. Here, the design of the device can be simplified or its operation can be facilitated.
  • the system with the actuator after a "canting" setting and even before the clamping device has been tightened, is able to provide sufficient resistance against any restoring forces so that the desired lateral inclination can be fixed exactly. It is also irrelevant whether such a side inclination adjustment device is only provided on one side of the shoe (in particular in the area of the outer ankle) or on both sides (inside and outside).
  • the upper part of the shoe is to be moved relative to the lower part on the pivot pin in such a way that only an up or down movement (generally in the direction of the axis of the upper part) takes place.
  • a rigid cover is attached to the outside of the shoe in the region of the hinge pin and has a generally vertical elongated hole, preferably running in the direction of the upper part axis.
  • a corresponding general "vertical" pivot pin guide is simply provided on the shoe part itself to which the actuator is attached (for example in the form of a groove or an elongated hole).
  • a structurally particularly simple and expedient embodiment of the device according to the invention consists in that the actuator is plate-shaped and has a longitudinal slot, the edges of which form an upper and a lower control surface. In this way, both an upward movement and a downward movement of the upper part of the shoe relative to the lower part of the shoe can be forcibly brought about and controlled sensitively.
  • the actuator on the upper part of the shoe preferably pivotable, is mounted and the hinge pin assigned to the actuator is firmly connected to the lower shoe part.
  • the actuator is designed as a toothed segment plate, the teeth of which mesh with a drive gear rotatably mounted on the upper part of the shoe.
