Definitions
- the present invention relates to a facade coating usable for new or renovation work from the outside. It also relates to a method of manufacture of the facade cladding according to the invention.
- the facade cladding according to the invention can be used under various forms and in particular may be used for clothing, siding or clothing according to the chosen method of attachment and the presence or absence of an insulating element in the facade cladding.
- facade coatings composed of panels with grooved edges, mounted on horizontal rails through said grooves.
- the horizontal rails are themselves fixed on the facade either directly, either through vertical rafters.
- This type of facade cladding has various drawbacks and first place involves the risk of damaging the panels during assembly.
- the panels are currently fixed over their entire length by means of horizontal rails engaged in grooves. This principle is strongly hyperstatic and risk, after assembly, of continuing residual stresses applied to the panels. So when the panels are held by their edge lower horizontal and their upper horizontal edge, they are wedged between two rails by through the grooves. If the assembly is not optimal or if there are problems of expansion of the panels, it is frequent that they are strongly stressed in compression in the vertical direction. It is not uncommon in this way that the panels are damaged over time by cracks or breaks.
- an insulating panel most often placed between the facade and the facing panel which constitutes the exterior of the cladding facade.
- This insulating panel according to conventional safety rules, must be maintained by a mechanical attachment system just like the exterior facing panel.
- facade coatings are made, the panel of which insulation is maintained by the current system of grooves formed on its horizontal edges engaging in rails fixed on the facade.
- fixing elements such as hooks fitting on the rails.
- the present invention relates to a facade covering comprising facing plates and hanging means which overcomes the disadvantages of current devices.
- the invention particularly aims to allow a resistant attachment façade cladding on the wall to be covered.
- the coating according to the invention has the advantage of providing intermediate fixing means between the hooking means and the constituent elements of the coating itself such as the facing plates.
- This mounting method by intermediate fixing means also makes it possible to distribute the forces applied by the means of attachment to the constituent elements of the facade cladding.
- Another object of the invention is to avoid the risk of damage to the mounting and use of the facade cladding.
- intermediate fastening means has the advantage of form elements whose role is specifically to allow mounting on the means hanging; this avoids any direct stress, in particular on the plate facing. Any risk of damage, shock or cracking of the panels is therefore excluded.
- the present invention also aims to limit the costs of machining siding. Currently, these costs are high by the machining of grooves on the edges of the panels.
- the facade cladding according to the invention has the advantage of not requiring the machining of grooves along the facing plates and therefore greatly reduce costs.
- facade cladding comprising a plate facing and an insulating panel
- the present invention makes it possible to fix simultaneously these two elements.
- the present invention relates first of all to a facade coating usable for new or renovation work from the outside in the field of construction and building, comprising facing plates and means attachment, characterized in that it has fixing means constituting intermediate elements between the hooking means and the facing plate, allowing quick, resistant assembly avoiding the risk of damaging the facing by absence of direct attachment of the facing plate to the attachment means.
- the present invention firstly relates to a facade coating. He will be able to be used for new work or building renovations or other types of construction.
- the coating described here is intended to be placed on the facade walls but a other use in the building sector, and in particular for interior design, is possible.
- the coating (1) firstly comprises means attachment (2) and facing plates (3) as illustrated in Figures 1 and 2 of drawing plates located in the appendix.
- the hooking means (2) may be rails (2) as illustrated in Figures 1 and 2.
- the hanging rails are preferably horizontal profiles formed for example from aluminum, steel or polyvinyl chloride (PVC).
- PVC polyvinyl chloride
- the hanging rails (2) can be fixed directly to the wall facade to be covered. Another possibility is to place vertical rafters on the wall of facade so that they constitute an intermediate fixing of the hanging rails (2) on the wall of facade.
- the number and the length of the hanging rails (2) will be function of the building to be renovated and particularly its dimensions and the dimensions of facing plates (3).
- the hanging rail can be made by a vertical wall (18) capable of being positioned opposite the surface of the wall of facade. It is through this vertical wall (18) that, in general, will fix the hanging rail on the facade or on the intermediate rafters.
- the hanging rail (2) can also have a horizontal wall (19) able to be positioned substantially against one of the horizontal edges (20) of the facade cladding (1).
- the attachment rails (2) comprise at least one attachment wing (10) to allow attachment to the rail (2).
- the attachment wings (10) may be substantially vertical, parallel to the vertical wall (18) and perpendicular to the wall horizontal (19) of the hanging rail (2).
- attachment means (2) are formed punctually, opposite the fixing means (7). Unlike the rail (2), they no longer extend throughout the facade cladding (1).
- the legs can still cooperate with inserts embedded in the fixing means (7) in order to carry out the attachment.
- the facing plates (3) make it possible to constitute the external appearance of the facade cladding (1).
- the facing plates (3) will generally be constituted by thin panels for example preferably of the order of 5 millimeters in a non-limiting mode of execution. Different materials can be used to make the facing plates (3) such as polymeric materials, for example polyester.
- the dimensions of the facing plates (3) are not limited but in practice we use facing plates (3) which can be easily handled while constituting aesthetic elements on the facade. Facing plates can be formed substantially of square surface of 600 millimeters x 600. The number of facing plates (3) to be used is of course depending on the surface of the front wall to be covered.
- the facing plate (3) includes a front face (5) constituting the exterior of the facade covering (1) and a rear face (6).
- the facade cladding (1) according to the invention also has fixing means (7) constituting intermediate elements between the means hooking (2) and the facing plate (3).
- Intermediate fixing means (7) avoid any direct installation of the facing plate (3) on the attachment means (2) and thus eliminate the risk of damage to the facing during its mounting or its use.
- FIG. 1 illustrates an embodiment of the fixing means (7).
- the fixing means (7) comprise one or more studs (8). These studs (8) are preferably placed on the periphery (4) of the facing plates (3). The studs (8) are integral with the rear face (6).
- connection of the studs (8) and the facing plate (3) can be performed in various ways. In one embodiment, it is possible to constitute, for example by molding, the facing plate and the studs in a single piece. It is also possible to cast the stud on the rear face (6) of the facing plate and thus form a chemical bond between these two elements. Any other means of embedding the stud (8) on the facing plate (3) is possible such as bonding or inserts or screws.
- the number and position of the studs are not limited but preferably, the studs (8) will be formed at the periphery (4) of the facing plate (3) and more precisely near the horizontal edges of the facing plate (3).
- the number of studs is not limited but will preferably be chosen so as to allow the correct resistance of the cladding of the facade cladding (1) while avoiding having to form numerous studs (8) on the rear face (6).
- three studs are formed near each horizontal edge of the plate facing (3).
- studs (8) such as polymer materials and in particular a material compatible with the facing plate (3) in order to be able to form chemical bonds.
- studs (8) polyester In particular, we can use studs (8) polyester.
- the shape of the studs (8) is also not limited. Shape studs cylindrical or square section are achievable. Another section of the studs is seen in Figure 8.
- the facade cladding (1) according to the invention can also comprise sheaths (9) surrounding the studs (8).
- the sheaths (9) for example illustrated in Figure 1 first allow the studs to be formed by pouring material into their interior volume. They also constitute an element cooperating with the studs (8) in order to form the fixing means (7).
- the sheaths (9) may be made of various materials and in particular of polyvinyl chloride. They will generally consist of cylindrical tubes hollow adapting to the outside diameter of the studs (8).
- the edge (11) will be particularly useful when the stud (8) is produced by pouring material into the volume inside of the sheath (9). In this way, once the material of the pad (8) is solidified, the facing plate (3), the stud (8) and the sheath (9) constitute a whole in one piece.
- the studs (8) are surrounded by a sheath (9) and the hanging rail (2) comprises at least one wing attachment (10).
- the stud (8) and the sheath (9) have a vertical groove (16) allowing to receive the attachment wing (10).
- the groove (16) will be formed along the length the stud (8) and the sheath (9) so that it can easily cooperate with the attachment wing (10).
- the groove (16) can be formed on the stud (8) even if the latter is not surrounded by a sheath (9) as illustrated in FIG. 3.
- the method of attachment described here is identical with or without presence of sheath (9).
- the studs (8) are surrounded by a sheath (9) but the length of the sheath (9) is greater than that of the studs (8).
- the sheath (9) has a groove (16) in its part extending beyond the stud (8).
- the groove (16) accommodates the attachment wing (10).
- the assembly is carried out by means of fixing (7) intermediates which are fixed on the hanging rail (2) by means of insert or screw.
- the fastening means (7) can be screwed onto the wall vertical (18) of the hanging rails (2).
- the fixing means (7) comprise studs (8)
- the screwing will be carried out in the material of the studs (8).
- the attachment means (2) can be fixed on an insulator (24) or on a vertical frame (25) allowing provide vertical ventilation.
- the present invention can also be used in the case of making clothes.
- a insulating panel (12) it can be perfectly integrated into the facade cladding (1) according to the invention.
- an insulating panel (12) can be placed behind the facing plates (3). Insulating panels (12) are commonly used will be applied to the rear face of the facing plates.
- the thickness of the insulating panels may be variable depending on the required insulation characteristics. However, it will be necessary to adapt the thickness of the panel insulator (12) in the production of the fixing means (7).
- the insulating panel (12) can be in various materials and in particular in polystyrene. Its length and width will substantially equivalent to those of the facing plates (3).
- the insulating panel (12) may have near its lower part a withdrawal (17) as illustrated in Figures 3 and 4 in particular. This withdrawal makes it possible to introduce the vertical wall (18) of the hanging rail (2). Thus, the hanging rail does not protrude or very little of the thickness of the insulating panel (12).
- the insulating panel (12) is positioned by means of the fixing (7).
- these means include studs (8) and possibly sheaths (9)
- the insulating panel (12) comprises through holes (21) illustrated in the figure 4 and cooperating with the pads (8) and possibly the sheaths (9).
- the stud In order to complete this positioning, it is also possible to give the stud a particular shape allowing the insulating panel (12) to be embedded.
- the stud (8) and possibly the sheath (9) has a narrowing section (22) towards the rear face (6) of the facing plate (3).
- the insulating panel (12) is wedged between the plate facing (3) and the largest section of the stud (8).
- the plug (14) will have shapes and dimensions adapted to fit in the through holes (21) formed in the thickness of the panel (12). Corks (14) can either overcome the sheaths (9) and the studs (8) or, in the case illustrated in FIG. 2, engage inside the sheath (9) preferably until contact with the stud (8).
- cap (14) we can use different materials for the cap (14) and preferably a material identical to that of the insulating panel (12) such as polystyrene.
- the attachment rail (2) cooperates with the sheath (9) by means of the attachment wing (10). To mount the plug (14), it is then necessary to form a groove in the volume of the plug.
- the facade cladding (1) described here allows, by the presence of means fastening (7) intermediate, quick assembly, resistant and avoiding risks facing damage.
- the facing plate (3) and the fixing means (7) may be sheaths (9) surrounding studs (8), form a perfectly integral and monobloc.
- the maintenance by means of the attachment wing (10) and a groove (16) formed on the sheath (9), or on the sheath (9) and the stud (8) allows quick and efficient mounting of the facing plate.
- an insulating panel (12) this is perfectly maintained in the vertical direction by through the studs (8) and possibly the sheaths (9). Any horizontal movement it is also prohibited since it is blocked by the attachment wing (10).
- the groove (16) extends to the material of the stud (8) and also to the material of the insulating panel (12).
- the present invention also relates to a method of manufacturing a facade cladding (1).
- This manufacturing begins with positioning sheaths (9) near the periphery (4) of the rear face (6) of the facing plate (3). If sheaths (9) are used as illustrated in FIGS. 1 and 2, this positioning is carried out by simply pressing the sheath (9) on the rear face (6).
- a polymer material such as a polyester resin is used both for the facing plate (3) and for the stud (8).
- a polymer material such as a polyester resin is used both for the facing plate (3) and for the stud (8).
- the quantity of material of the pad (8) is limited so as to avoid withdrawal effects. These effects cause reflections on the front face (5) of the facing plate (3).
- a bond is made chemical between the stud (8) and the facing plate (3) by taking the material from the stud (8).
- a polymer material such as a polyester resin allows this to be done. surgery.
- the sheath (9) is only a mold and a guide for casting the stud.
- the sheath (9) is left in place so that it cooperates with the stud (8) to form the fixing means (7).
- the facade covering (1) thus produced ensures an effective connection between the fixing means (7) and the facing plate (3).
- this embodiment will preferably be formed in a joint step to match the groove (16) formed in the material of the sheath (9), the stud (8), the insulating panel (12) or the sheath (9), the plug (14) and the panel insulator (12).
- the facade cladding (1) thus produced can then be easily put on in place on the facades by means of the hooking means (2), either by means of screws or inserts, either by means of attachment wings (10) cooperating with the groove (16).
- the hanging rails (2) may have one or two wings attachment (10). The latter case allows the cladding of the facade (1) to be hung upper and lower edges.
- decompression chambers (23) on the edges (20) to allow the retention and evacuation of water or moisture.
- the chambers (23) will for example consist of two half-grooves formed on the edges upper and lower insulating panels (12).
