Claims (14)

  1. Device for delayed actuation of a valve (7), in particular in conjunction with a fire extinguishing means, wherein the delay time is settable by an electromechanically operated delay means comprising a motorized threaded spindle (16) provided with a threaded nut (17) secured against rotation and a carrier pin (18) actuating a lock bar (21), and wherein the delay means acts upon an opening element (46) of the valve (7) by means of a triggering device, wherein a locking element lockable by the delay means is associated with the triggering device, said locking element being released when the delay time has elapsed, thus actuating the opening element (46),
    characterized in that
    the lock bar (21) with the locking element (5) and the threaded spindle (16) with the threaded nut (17) are accommoated in a housing (8) having a cover (9), wherein the threaded spindle (16) is guided through a side wall (10) of the housing (8) and is connected with the motor flange-mounted to the housing (8); and the locking element (5) is connected, outside the housing (8), with the triggering device (3).
  2. Device according to claim 1, characterized in that the lock bar (21) comprises a lock bar body (22) having an angled stop (23) with which the carrier pin (18) of the threaded nut (17) is adpated to engage, and the lock bar body (22) is provided with an oblong hole (24) for receiving the bolt-type locking element (5), and an inclined surface (25) adapted to bear upon the locking element (5).
  3. Device according to claims 1 and 2, characterized in that the lock bar (21) is, on one side, supported in a recess (29) of the housing (8) and, on the other side, connected with a guide rod (27) guided in a guide opening (28) in the side wall (10) of the housing (8).
  4. Device according to one of claims 1 to 3, characterized in that the locking element (5) comprises a bolt (30) having a bolt head (31), which is supported in the cover (9) of the housing (8) and bears upon the inclined surface (25) of the lock bar (21).
  5. Device according to claim 4, characterized in that the bolt (30) is provided with a locking disk (38).
  6. Device according to one of claims 1 to 5, characterized in that the carrier pin (18) of the threaded nut (17) comprises a recess (19) blocking the bolt (30) of the locking element (5).
  7. Device according to one of claims 1 to 6, characterized in that the triggering device (3) is accommodated in a housing (13) which is adapted to be connected with the housing (8) to form a unit.
  8. Device according to claim 7, characterized in that the triggering device (3) comprises a lever (40) fixed to a shaft (42), to which lever a stop lever (43) is fixed which blocks a spring (45) using an actuating rod (44) of the power transmission means (6).
  9. Device according to claim 8, characterized in that the shaft (42) is supported in a bore (57) of the housing (8).
  10. Device according to claims 7 to 9, characterized in that the actuating rod (44) is associated with the opening lever (46) of the valve (7).
  11. Device according to claims 1 to 10, characterized in that at the housing-side end of the shaft (42) inside the housing (8) an eccentric (58) is fixed which is associated with an actuating lever (59) for actuating a contact (61) of a switch (60) which switches the motor (14) on and off.
  12. Device according to claims 1 to 10, characterized in that the carrier pin (18) comprises an inclined surface (56) at its lower side, said inclined surface being associated with a contact (63) of a switch (62) which monitors and indicates the motion of the threaded spindle (17).
  13. Device according to one of claims 1 to 10, characterized in that the side surface (50) of the lock bar (21) comprises a recess (54) defining an inclined surface (55), said recess being associated with a contact (65) of an emergency switch (64).
  14. Device according to claims 11 to 13, characterized in that the switches (60,62,64) are accommodated inside the housing space (66).
