Abstract
Description
- les colliers doivent être très fortement serrés sur les câbles porteurs, d'une part compte tenu de la médiocrité du coefficient de frottement acier sur acier et, d'autre part pour limiter les mouvements relatifs entre les brins d'acier, générateurs d'usure et de fatigue par "fretting corrosion" (également appelée "fatigue induite par petits débattements" ou "usure induite par petits débattements") : ce serrage intense nécessite des colliers très longs (par exemple jusqu'à 2 mètres) et massifs, serrés par de nombreux boulons,
- les phénomènes de fatigue par "fretting corrosion" ne sont jamais complètement évités, ce qui entraíne à la fois un desserrage des colliers et la rupture des brins constitutifs du câble porteur,
- et les phénomènes de corrosion chimique sont extrêmement fréquents.
- la matière plastique constituant la gaine est choisie parmi les polyoléfines et les polyamides,
- la matière plastique constituant la gaine est du polyéthylène haute densité,
- l'élastomère est du polybutadiène.
- la figure 1 est une vue schématique générale d'un pont suspendu selon une forme de réalisation de l'invention,
- la figure 2 est une vue en coupe transversale d'un des torons individuellement protégés qui constituent le câble porteur du pont suspendu de la figure 1,

- on enduit simultanément (par coextrusion) la surface extérieure de l'élastomère 8 avec un agent de liaison capable d'adhériser cet élastomère 8 à la matière plastique constituant la gaine 9, par liaison chimique,
- et on enrobe finalement le matériau protecteur 8 dans la gaine 9 par extrusion à chaud.
Claims (9)
- Toron individuellement protégé, comportant plusieurs fils d'acier torsadés (7) entourés par une gaine extérieure (9) en matière plastique flexible, les fils d'acier torsadés (7) laissant à l'intérieur de cette gaine des espaces interstitiels qui sont comblés par un matériau protecteur (8),
caractérisé en ce que le matériau protecteur est un élastomère (8) adhérant sur les fils d'acier torsadés (7) et sur la face intérieure de la gaine (9). - Toron individuellement protégé selon la revendication 1, dans lequel la matière plastique constituant la gaine (9) est choisie parmi les polyoléfines et les polyamides.
- Toron individuellement protégé selon la revendication 2, dans lequel la matière plastique constituant la gaine (9) est du polyéthylène haute densité.
- Toron individuellement protégé selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, dans lequel l'élastomère (8) est du polybutadiène.
- Procédé de fabrication d'un toron individuellement protégé selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, comportant les étapes consistant à :a) englober les fils d'acier torsadés (7) dans le matériau protecteur (8) sans laisser de vide entre les fils d'acier,b) enduire la surface extérieure du matériau protecteur (8) avec un agent de liaison capable de faire adhérer ce matériau protecteur (8) à la matière plastique constituant la gaine (9) par liaison chimique,c) et enrober le matériau protecteur (8) dans la gaine (9).
- Procédé selon la revendication 5, dans lequel le matériau protecteur (8) est du polybutadiène et la gaine (9) est en polyéthylène.
- Procédé selon la revendication 6, dans lequel l'agent de liaison est choisi parmi les terpolymères ethylène - ester acrylique - anhydride maléique et les polyéthylènes greffés.
- Ouvrage de génie civil comportant au moins deux pylônes (2), au moins un câble porteur (3) s'étendant entre deux ancrages au sol (5) et soutenu par les pylônes, et une structure de génie civil (1) suspendue au câble porteur par l'intermédiaire de suspentes (4) qui sont elles-mêmes accrochées chacune à un collier (10) fixé rigidement au câble porteur (3) par serrage autour de ce câble,
caractérisé en ce que le câble porteur (3) est constitué par au moins un faisceau de torons individuellement protégés (6) selon l'une quelconque des revendications 1 à 4. - Ouvrage de génie civil selon la revendication 8, dans lequel une chemise protectrice (15) en matière plastique est interposée entre le câble porteur (3) et chaque collier (10).
