Again, this arrangement requires a significant amount of space axially of the cylinder of the compressor and also radially beyond the main bearing of the crankshaft.

  • the spool seal 32 is located at its inner end with a port 19b of a boss 19a which provides location with an axial recess 1b of the housing. The seal 32 is therefore able to tilt sufficiently to accommodate for only approximate alignment between 19a and 31a without leakage.

Claims (5)

  1. Compresseur à gaz comprenant un logement (1) et une paroi à mouvement alternatif ladite paroi pouvant se déplacer dans ledit logement (1) pour augmenter et réduire cycliquement le volume d'une chambre de compression (14, 15) pour produire et délivrer du gaz sous pression, ladite paroi étant connectée à un palier excentrique (16) d'un arbre (6) pouvant tourner dans un palier principal (8) du logement, ledit arbre pouvant être entraíné par le biais d'un moyen d'accouplement flexible (12), ledit moyen d'accouplement flexible pouvant être désengagé par un actionneur (24, 27) pour interrompre le fonctionnement du compresseur, caractérisé en ce que ledit actionneur est situé dans un ensemble qui comprend un couvercle d'extrémité du côté menant (19) du compresseur entourant ledit palier principal (8), le couvercle d'extrémité (19) et ledit actionneur (24, 27) étant contenu au moins partiellement dans une sailli.e de ladite chambre de compression (14, 15) dans la direction du mouvement de ladite paroi.
  2. Compresseur à gaz selon la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce que ledit moyen d'accouplement comprend un engrenage à friction.
  3. Compresseur à gaz selon la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce que ledit couvercle d'extrémité du côté menant (19) ferme une ouverture (20) du logement à travers laquelle ledit arbre (6) peut être fixé au logement.
  4. Compresseur à gaz selon la revendication 1, 2 ou 3, caractérisé en ce que ledit logement à un orifice de pression de commande (31) et ledit ensemble a un orifice de pression de commande (19b) lesdits orifices étant interconnectés par un joint de tiroir (32).
  5. Compresseur à gaz selon la revendication 1, 2, 3 ou 4, caractérisé en ce que ledit logement à un orifice de pression de commande (31) et ledit ensemble a un orifice de pression de commande (19b) lesdits orifices étant interconnectés par l'intermédiaire d'un élément qui établit une étanchéité sur la circonférence (43) avec ledit logement et par l'intermédiaire d'un joint d'extrémité (44) avec ledit ensemble.
