Abstract

The device comprises, in the area of the stack rear edge, a traverse with fixed stops arranged on a format-adjustable sheet braking device. At least one holding down device (17) is arranged beneath guides (15) for a rear stack underlay (12) in the area of the front edge of the main stack (5) and can pivot inwards onto the uppermost sheet (16) of the main stack. In side frames an axis (20) is fixed, on which is arranged a hollow shaft (24). The hollow shaft is connected with a draw spring (21) and a coupling (26) with the holding down device (17) by means of rotary links (29,30). A tab (18) is coupled with an operating device (19) via a rotary link (25). The holding down device has a control curve (23), which forms a curve gear with a roller (22) fixed to the frame.
