Claims (5)
- A terminal for pressing an electrical conductor against a bar (3), comprising a stirrup-shaped base member (4) provided for setting on a bar by means of retaining feet and a pressure plate (6) provided at a guide bolt (5) retained to slide in the stirrup yoke between the stirrup lateral legs (4', 4") of the base member (4), which pressure plate is pressed toward the lateral leg ends by means of a compression spring (7), characterized in that the stirrup lateral legs (4', 4") each provide a recess (10, 11) open to one side edge on the same side, which recess is restricted on the lower end by means of a part of the respective lateral leg (4', 4") forming a retaining finger (12, 13) with upward-projecting end claw (12', 13'), such that the terminal (1) can be set under the elastic yield of the pressure plate (6) on the bar (3) from the side by means of a conductor (2) to be pressed on the bar (3).
