Definitions
- the present invention relates to snap switches Housing, one with two switching positions, over one Actuating plunger switchable contact bridge to the electrical Connect at least a first pair of contacts in the first Switch position and at least a second pair of contacts in the second switching position and with itself on the actuating plunger and the contact bridge is essentially symmetrical under tension supporting snap spring arms, whose lines of action from the actuating plunger are so displaceable that the contact bridge of the first switching position, in which the actuating plunger in is essentially in the rest position, in the second switching position, in which the actuating plunger is essentially in the actuating position is, can be snapped.
- Such a snap switch is e.g. from DE-PS 31 50 210 known. This shows a switch at which the snap point the snap spring for the contact bridge by means of a thread mechanism is adjustable in the actuating plunger.
- the desk further includes devices in the form of rotatably arranged Positive opening levers for separating the contact elements, if they are welded together.
- the invention is therefore based on the object, a snap switch to provide the type mentioned at the outset compared to breakage of a snap spring arm, a high degree of opening security having.
- One embodiment has a structurally simple configuration in that the stop edges each as on the Arrows arranged inside the housing are formed.
- the strips can easily be e.g. injection molding on the inside of the housing or the housing halves arrange. Such a configuration is characterized by a low The necessary function.
- stop edges can be symmetrical to the axis of the actuating plunger. Due to the symmetry of the Stop edges, these do not need to cover the entire area To extend the width of the housing, but are only on the side area of the contact bridge.
- the functionality of one variant is expanded in that the respective bar for holding at the same time of the at least one contact element of the one contact pair is trained.
- the strips providing the stop edges thus take over the positioning and mounting at the same time at least part of the fixed contacts in the housing.
- two opposite strips each have a contact element of a contact pair and have a distance from each other, that is larger than a width of a contact area the contact bridge.
- the up and down movement of the contact bridge by the actuation of the actuating plunger is therefore in none Way hampered by the groin. Accordingly, the contacting of contact bridge and contact elements of the contact pairs also take place between the strips.
- the bars limit accordingly only the displacement of the contact bridge in the case of a Spring arm break in the direction of action of the still intact Spring arm.
- a separate spring can advantageously be used as the spring arm be provided. This allows the other components design the contact bridge as you like without being dependent of the spring steel used for the spring arms.
- the contact bridge consists of two held at a distance from each other by insulating spacers Contact arm exists, the lower contact arm the first contact pair and the upper contact arm the second contact pair is assigned and the stop area on the spacer and / or contact arm is arranged, results from the separation of the contact arms automatically in the event of a spring arm break Interruption of the circuits due to the inclination of the contact bridge.
- the springs can each in the spacer of the contact bridge.
- the spring thus positions itself automatically the spacer and is from the live parts isolated.
- the snap switch shown in the figures has a Cross-section rectangular housing 1 on which to accommodate the various components to be described in more detail.
- An actuating plunger 2 is arranged in the center of the housing 1 inside the housing 1 includes a stop step 3, which in Rest position of the actuating plunger 2 on the inside of the housing 1 is present.
- the actuating plunger 2 is actuated by a compression spring 4 accordingly pressed up into its rest position so that the attack level 3 comes safely to the system.
- the actuating plunger 2 in a guide receptacle 5 in the area of Compression spring 4 and guided at its upper end in the housing 1.
- the actuating plunger 2 has approximately in its central region left and right (according to the view of the figure) a recording notch 6 and 7 on the one-sided support of each a V-shaped spring 8 and 9 is used. About the Snap springs 8 and 9 is a contact bridge 10 on the actuating plunger 2 attached.
- the other end of the snap springs 8 and 9 is supported likewise in a receiving notch 11 and 12 accordingly insulating spacer 13 and 14.
- the spacers 13 and 14 again hold an upper contact arm at a distance from one another 15 and a lower contact arm 16.
- the contact arms 15, 16 are approximately O-shaped when viewed from above.
- the bracket takes place in that the snap springs 8 and 9 under tension between the actuating plunger 2 and the spacers 13 and 14 are arranged so that the spacers 13 and 14 also are pressed against the contact arms 15 and 16 and thus this in their position.
- the upper contact arm 15 has thickened contact areas 17 and 18 and the lower contact arm 16 contact areas 19 and 20.
- the upper contact arm 15 is corresponding to a pair of contacts the contact elements 21 and 22 and the lower contact arm 16 one Contact pair associated with the contact elements 23 and 24.
- 1 stop edges 25 and 26 are provided in the housing, each have a stop area 27 and 28 of the spacers 13 and 14 of the contact bridge 10 are assigned.
- the snap switch shown in Figure 1 is located in its rest position or first switching position, in which the lower Contact arm 16 of the contact bridge 10, the counter contacts 23 and 24 electrically connects to each other.
- the counter contacts 21 and 22 are not in this position by the upper one Contact arm 15 of the contact bridge 10 connected to each other.
- the springs 8 and 9 have in this case the Lines of action A, B obliquely downwards, so that the contact bridge 10 pressed accordingly into the position shown in Figure 1 becomes.
- the actuating plunger is now used to reach the second switching position 2 applied a force and pressed down.
- the springs 8 and 9 are pushed down the receiving notches 6 and 7 are shifted such that The position of the lines of action also changes, it occurs as soon as the Lines of action have exceeded their horizontal position to one Snap effect, which makes the contact bridge 10 instantaneously pops up, and the upper contact arm 15 with the Contact elements 21 and 22 comes into contact. In doing so of course the contact elements 23 and 24 from the lower one Contact arm 16 separately.
- Measures for a forced separation should be provided if the Contact elements 23 and 24 with the contact areas 19 and 20 are welded.
- FIG. 2 A state is now shown in FIG. 2 in which it comes to an unwanted breakage of the spring 8.
- the spring 9 presses the contact bridge 10 to the right so that the stop area 28 of the spacer 14 comes to rest with the stop edge 26. Because the stop edge 26 offset to the line of action B of the intact spring 9 is arranged, there is a torque effect of the spring 9 around the point of contact of the stop area 28 and the stop edge 26, whereby the contact bridge 10 is tilted. Out of it follows that the contact area 17 with the counter contact 21 and the contact area 20 with the mating contact 24 in contact is coming.
- the contact area 17 is located on the upper contact arm 15 and the contact area 20 is located on the lower contact arm 16 and isolating them from each other by the spacers 13 and 14 are separated, the two are interrupted in the first and second switching positions accessible circuits. In this way, the device in which this can be Snap switch is installed, shut down.
- the stop edges 25 and 26 can accordingly by strips are generated on the inside of the housing 1, the same time also take over the positioning of the contact elements 23 and 24 can.
- the contact bridge 10 thus takes a defined Position immediately after failure of one of the springs 8 and 9, which were used to switch off the entire system can be. Since taking this security position almost at the same time that one of the springs 8 and 9 breaks, the fragments of the corresponding spring 8 or 9 have none Time to block the contact bridge 10 in the To put away.
