Method for manufacturing a multilayer coating on inner wall surfaces accessible via movably mounted flaps, doors or suchlike parts and on unobstructed outer wall surfaces of an object, in particular for painting a vehicle body with at least one base coat and at least one coloured covering coat, characterised in that the coloured covering coat is applied immediately after the application of the base coat at least on the inner wall surfaces (2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7) while the flaps, doors or suchlike parts are still open.
  2. Method according to Claim 1, characterised in that the coatings (base coat, coloured covering coat) are applied "wet in wet" to the inner wall surfaces (2-7).
  3. Method according to Claim 1, characterised in that the first coloured covering coat is applied to the outer wall surface (8) at a later stage.
  4. Method according to Claim 1, characterised in that the first coloured covering coat is also applied to the outer wall surface (8) in a single work cycle with the coating of the inner wall surfaces (2-7).
  5. Method according to Claim 1, characterised in that when painting vehicle bodies (1) a first coloured covering coat is applied "wet in wet" to a previously applied stone chip protection coating on the inner wall surfaces (2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7).
  6. Method according to Claim 3, characterised in that the inner wall surfaces are an engine compartment (2), an engine hood underside (3), a luggage compartment (4), a luggage compartment lid inner surface (5), door edge surfaces (6) and door frames (7).
