- European patent application 0 151 662 AI relates to an instant powder for the production of kiwi tea, which is based on a high amount of sugar as a carrier.
- the quantities which are mentioned as being particularly suitable and which are used to produce an instant drink are in particular between 50 and 150 g of dry mixture per liter of ready-to-drink solution.
- EP 0 058 410 relates to a composition containing acesulfame, tablets based on this composition and a process for their production.
- the composition contains acesulfame or an acesulfate salt, a soluble C0 2- providing compound, optionally a physiologically tolerable acid as auxiliary and gelatin powder as a dry binder and their use for the production of tablets.
- US Pat. No. 3,660,107 relates to an effervescent mixture containing tartaric acid, citric acid and sodium hydrogen carbonate in the relative proportions of 2: 1: 4 and solid coffee aromas, decaffeinated coffee, tea or chocolate. This mixture is processed into a drink with the addition of water.
- FR-A-2 302 052 relates to a process for producing an effervescent sweetened sweetener tablet and the tablet itself.
- the problem underlying the invention is to provide an improved preparation, but makes the teas, 'particularly iced teas or Eisteegetränke also H exerttees in instant form accessible and is to be used, in particular wherein in each household that becomes available tap water.
- the technical problem on which the invention is based is solved by a preparation having the features of claim 1.
- the subclaims 2 to 7 relate to preferred embodiments of the preparation.
- Claim 8 relates to a dosage form of the instant drink in the form of a tablet.
- the preparation according to the invention contains 25 to 55% by weight of citric acid (anhydrous), 0.1 to 25% by weight of sodium hydrogen carbonate or potassium hydrogen carbonate or mixtures thereof, 5 to 30% by weight of sweetener.
- the preparation according to the invention can contain up to 70% by weight of flavoring, coloring and / or auxiliary and carrier substances. If, for example, an iced tea or iced tea drink is to be produced, 0.5 to 5% by weight of tea aroma and 0.5 to 30% by weight of tea extract as an adjuvant can be contained in addition to other flavorings and adjuvants. Such a mixture can already be used for the production of instant teas or instant iced drinks.
- a colorant such as sugar color (E150) can be added in amounts of 1 to 10% by weight.
- the color can also be adjusted by mixing the hibiscus extract, rose hip extract and / or rind tea extract. 0.5 to 4% by weight, in particular 1 to 3% by weight of hibiscus extract, 0.5 to 4% by weight, in particular 0.5 to 2% by weight of rose hip are preferably used. Extract and 5 to 15 wt .-%, in particular 7 to 12 wt .-% black tea extract added to the mixture.
- the color can also be adjusted by other substances that are not harmful to food law, such as caramel.
- Suitable sweeteners are in particular sucrose, lactose, glucose and / or fructose and / or artificial sweeteners such as Asparta and / or sodium saccharin and / or sugar substitutes.
- Sucrose, lactose, fructose and / or glucose can be present in amounts of 5 to 30% by weight.
- Aspartame can be present in amounts of 0.5 to 5% by weight and sodium saccharin in amounts of 0.5 to 5% by weight.
- Sorbitol and xylitol are particularly suitable as sugar substitutes.
- Sucrose, lactose, fructose and / or glucose can, in addition to a function as a sweetener, also fulfill a function as an auxiliary or carrier.
- lactose in quantities of 50 g per 1 finished drink.
- the taste of the finished iced tea changes within a tolerable range.
- the advantageous rapid and thorough dissolution of the powder achieved by the composition according to the invention is not significantly changed by such high lactose, sucrose, glucose or fructose concentrations.
- the tea or instant iced tea drinks are to correspond to certain flavors, this can be achieved by adding appropriate flavors.
- the preparation can additionally contain a lemon aroma as a flavoring agent.
- Teas with a peach or kiwi flavor or the taste of a mixture of tropical fruits or combinations thereof can also be produced. Pineapple, banana, mango and / or papaya are preferably used as tropical fruits.
- the aroma substances can be added in amounts such that a taste which is acceptable to the general public is achieved. Such quantities can be determined by tests and series of tests with appropriate test persons. For example, the amounts of aroma substances in the aromas mentioned are 1 to 10% by weight.
- table salt is added to the preparations in amounts of 0.3 to 3% by weight or auxiliaries such as sodium sulfate in amounts of 2 to 15% by weight.
- auxiliaries such as sodium sulfate in amounts of 2 to 15% by weight.
- vitamins can on the one hand increase the nutritional-physiological value of the drink, and on the other hand can also help to improve the taste.
- Physiologically active substances such as caffeine serve, for example, to give the drink an invigorating effect, in particular if smaller amounts of tea extract are used.
- B sodium sulfate or sucrose, lactose, glucose and / or fructose in question.
- the sugars therefore have a dual function, on the one hand as sweeteners and on the other hand as extenders.
- Mixtures which contain 0.1 to 25% by weight of sodium hydrogen carbonate are particularly suitable for use as a single-iced beverage.
- the use of 0.1 to 5% by weight sodium hydrogen carbonate and 35 to 45% by weight citric acid can be recommended.
- the preparation according to the invention is produced by mixing the corresponding constituents into a commercial form, for example a powder or granules.
- a compact from the mixed powder or the solids can also be produced like tablets.
- the tablets are produced in a manner known per se after mixing the preparation according to the invention. The amounts are adjusted so that they are 100% supplemented and the components are in the range specified according to the invention. In particular, the constituents with higher proportions can be used for quantity compensation. For tablets, the addition of 5 to 15% by weight lactose onohydrate can be recommended.
- the preparation according to the invention is used in loose form, for example as a powder or granulate, it is advisable to dissolve in a liter of 2 to 60 g, in particular 2-25 g, preferably approximately 5 g.
- This amount of preparation per liter of water gives a preferred taste of the instant drink according to the invention.
- the improved taste of the beverage according to the invention seems to be related to the carbonic acid present.
- the instant powder or granulate accelerates the dissolution process of the instant.
- the preparation according to the invention is to be compressed as a tablet and serve as the basis for about half a liter of instant drink, amounts of approximately 2 to 3 g, in particular 2.5 g, are typically recommended. If a smaller amount, approximately the size of a drinking glass, is desired, the corresponding basis can be provided by halving the corresponding amount (halving a tablet). Should be more than a half Liters of instant drink are produced, the basic amount must be increased accordingly.
- Tap water in particular can be used to produce the drink. It has proven to be particularly advantageous that the amount of water required for the preparation of the instant beverage is provided by the device described in WO 93/24203.
- the preparation according to the invention is pressed in the form of an approximately round tablet which fits into a receiving device according to P 44 38 265. It is possible with the device as proposed in P 44 38 265 to produce about 0.5 l of a refreshing instant drink within a few seconds, the tablet being in the water flowing through the filter according to P 44 38 265 essentially solves.
- the tablet can also be placed on the side of the jacket so that the surface of the tablet is enlarged with respect to the water flowing past.
- softened water can also be used with the device described in P 44 38 265.
