  • the present invention relates to an elastomeric composition
  • an elastomeric composition comprising at least one block copolymer and a minor amount of a styrene-based polymer having a syndiotactic structure.
  • elastomeric compositions which provide one or more advantages, in particular display an improved heat resistance when compared with the conventional polyphenylene ether-containing elastomeric compositions, by blending a major amount of a block copolymer with a minor amount of a styrene-based polymer having a syndiotactic structure. Moreover, it is observed that these elastomeric compositions which are highly homogeneous can be prepared more easily.
