Definitions
- the present invention relates to a mobile partition comprising at least two wall elements which, for their edge-adjustable connection with one another, have edge profiles which are assigned to one another at least in sections, of which at least one magnet device comprising at least one permanent magnet is assigned, which has an attractive force on a magnetizable counterpart assigned to the other edge profile exercises.
- the present invention relates to such a mobile partition of the type specified above, in which the edge profiles are convexly curved and can be rolled onto one another.
- a generic mobile partition is known from European patent 0178504.
- the magnet devices each include a magnet and two pole pieces.
- the two magnets, each of which receives the pole shoes of the magnetic devices of this known partition, are disc-shaped and arranged one above the other in two horizontal planes parallel to one another.
- Their contour essentially corresponds to the contour of the edge profile in which the magnet device is integrated.
- the magnetizable counterpart consists of a tube section, the outer contour of which in turn corresponds to the outer contour of the associated edge profile. In this way, it is possible to roll the abutting edge profiles of the two wall elements onto one another with a constant magnetic attraction force.
- German Offenlegungsschrift 4212975 discloses another mobile partition wall in which two wall elements which are magnetically connected to one another can be rolled onto one another in the region of their adjoining edge profiles in order to change their angular position (FIGS. 12a-12c). What remains open, however, is what type the elastically compliant magnetic layer to be applied to one of the edge profiles should be.
- Swiss patent specification 662601 discloses partition walls of this type in which it is not possible to roll the wall elements onto one another. Rather, a first edge profile and a further edge profile or a column lie flat against each other.
- the task on which the present invention is based is derived from that exists to create a mobile partition of the generic type, which ensures improved protection of data stored on machine-readable data carriers and excludes a risk to people with pacemakers.
- this object is achieved in such partition walls in which the magnet devices comprise at least one magnet and at least two pole shoes, in that a short-circuit element is provided in the interior of the edge profile assigned to the magnet device, which is connected to the pole shoes of the magnet device in this can be brought into contact with one another.
- the magnetic devices arranged at the end of an installed partition can be "neutralized” in this way.
- the short-circuit element is brought into and out of contact with the pole pieces of the corresponding magnetic device by moving, twisting or in another suitable manner.
- a rotatable mounting of the short-circuit element has the advantage, however, that this leads to a particularly compact structure of the entire magnetic device. This will be clarified further below using an exemplary embodiment shown in the drawing.
- the magnet device is mounted such that it can be changed in position in the associated edge profile in such a way that its pole shoes are moved out of the area of the surface contour of the edge profile into the interior of the edge profile.
- the magnetic device can be withdrawn into the interior of the edge profile, for example by means of an eccentric.
- the magnet device can be rotatably mounted in the edge profile in such a way that the pole shoes can be rotated in a direction pointing into the interior of the edge profile.
- a short-circuit element can also be provided, which connects the pole shoes to one another when the magnetic device is retracted or rotated inward. In this sense, for example, a short-circuit element can be fixedly arranged in the interior of the edge profile, against which the pole shoes of the magnetic device bear when it is rotated.
- a further advantage of the various mobile partition walls set out above is that the individual magnetic devices can also be manipulated to disassemble a built-up partition wall in such a way that their attractive force decreases with respect to the associated magnetizable counterpart of the adjacent edge profile, be it through "neutralization" of the magnetic devices by a short-circuit element, be it by changing the position of the magnetic devices by moving or rotating them into the interior of the corresponding edge profile. In all cases it takes on the assigned magnetizable Counterpart of the adjacent edge profile exerted attraction, so that the two interconnected wall elements can be separated easily.
- the invention also makes it possible to adjust the force of attraction between the wall elements of a partition to intermediate values between the two extremes if necessary.
- the magnetizable counterpart of the second wall element can comprise its own magnetic device in order to increase the attractive forces.
- the magnetic devices are firmly mounted retracted relative to the surface of the corresponding edge profile. This also prevents contact of a data carrier with one of the magnetic devices. Accordingly, the associated magnetizable counterparts of the adjacent edge profile protrude from it and thus engage in the other edge profile.
- This variant is not only characterized by a particularly simple structure; the engagement of the protruding magnetic elements in a recess of the other edge profile also ensures an alignment of the two wall elements to be connected to one another. It is disadvantageous, however, that in this case, in contrast to the embodiments described above, the magnetic devices do not have covers made of fabric covering the associated edge profiles, Foil or the like can be coated, which may be desirable for optical reasons.
- the possibility of covering the edge profiles together with the magnet systems integrated therein with fabric or a comparable material represents a fundamental advantage of the partition wall according to the invention compared to the prior art.
- the appearance of the partition wall according to the invention is significantly improved in this way compared to the prior art in that the means used to connect the individual wall elements to one another are invisible.
- a reduction in the attractive force between the magnetic devices and the magnetizable counterparts by the - possibly double-layered - material can be avoided in that the material in the area of the magnetic devices and / or the magnetizable counterparts, in particular the pole pieces of the magnetic devices, has an insert that conducts the magnetic flux.
- a layer can consist in particular of a coating applied to the fabric, a metal grid, a woven fabric made of metallic threads or the like woven into the fabric.
- the present invention proposes, according to an independent aspect, that magnetic devices are arranged on the two facing edge profiles of the two wall elements, which magnetic devices consist of a series of individual magnets arranged in the circumferential direction of the edge profile with alternating polarity.
- the two opposing magnet devices which are in operative connection with one another, are magnetically "interlocked" with one another.
- the two wall elements automatically assume an aligned position in such a way that a north pole of one magnet device is opposed by a south pole of the other magnet device.
- the magnetic devices can be completely covered with fabric or the like and can thus be optically integrated into the wall elements, but when two wall elements are joined together by the opposing magnetic poles, a vertical and horizontal alignment of the two wall elements to one another automatically is effected.
- the rolling of the edge profiles on one another to change the angular position of the wall elements relative to one another is in no way impaired.
- the integration of a short-circuit element described above is possible again in order to guide the magnetic flux into the interior of the edge profile and to concentrate there so that there is as far as possible no harmful outward magnetic field at the end of a partition.
- the mobile partition according to FIGS. 1 and 2 comprises two interconnected wall elements 1 which collide in the area of a joint 2.
- convexly curved edge profiles 3 are provided in the area of the vertical edges.
- the wall elements 1 can roll on these to change their angle with respect to one another.
- Two magnetic devices 4 are integrated into one of the edge profiles, only the one arranged in the upper corner area being shown.
- This magnet device comprises two magnets 5 and three pole shoes 6.
- the south pole of the upper magnet points upwards, in the direction of the uppermost pole shoe, and its north pole, however, downwards in the direction of the middle pole shoe.
- the north pole of the lower magnet points upwards to the middle pole piece, its south pole downwards to the lower pole piece.
- the pole pieces have a circular segment shape. Your outer contour is adapted to the outer contour of the associated edge profile. The three pole pieces thus open into the outer surface of the edge profile 3 and are flush with this.
- the soft iron tube 7 is adapted to the contour of the corresponding edge profile 3; Edge profile 3 and soft iron tube 7 merge smoothly into one another. In this way, the magnet device 4 and the soft iron tube 7 do not impede the rolling movement of the two edge profiles 3 on one another.
- a tube 8 runs inside the edge profile having the magnet device 4.
- this carries a cylinder jacket 9, half of which is made of soft iron and the other half of which is made of a non-magnetically conductive material, for example brass.
- the tube 8 is rotatably supported in the corresponding edge profile 3 about its axis. At its upper end it is connected to an insert 10 which has a hexagon hole. In this way, the tube can be rotated about its longitudinal axis using a suitable Allen key.
- the corresponding half of the cylinder jacket 9, which is made of brass, is brought into contact with the pole shoes 6 of the magnet device 4 by appropriate rotation of the tube 8, a strong magnetic field is produced on the outer surface of the corresponding edge profile; the soft iron tube 7 is attracted to bear against the pole shoes 6, and there is a firm connection between the two wall elements 1.
- the half of the cylinder jacket 9 consisting of soft iron is brought into contact with the pole shoes 6 of the magnet device 4 brought, the magnetic flux concentrates on the now acting as a short-circuit element cylinder jacket 9.
- the attraction compared to the soft iron tube 7 decreases considerably.
- the two wall elements 1 can easily be separated from one another. And there is no magnetic field with a harmful field strength on the surface of the edge profile 3 carrying the magnetic device 4.
- the wall elements of the mobile partition shown in Figures 1 and 2 are coated all around with a fabric.
- the edge profiles are ideally integrated into the wall elements.
- the selected configuration allows the use of such strong magnets that, despite the two layers of material between the pole shoes 6 of the magnet device and the soft iron pipe 7, there is an attractive force between the two wall elements, which ensures sufficient stability of the connection of the wall elements of the partition.
- a magnetic device or a soft iron tube are also provided in the area of the lower corners of the two wall elements.
- each magnet device is assigned a cylinder jacket described above, half made of soft iron, half made of a non-magnetizable material. All such cylinder jackets 9 are rotatably connected to the tube 8. In this way, by turning the insert 10 All magnetic devices are activated or neutralized simultaneously using an Allen key.
- the structure of the partition shown in FIG. 3 essentially corresponds to that according to FIGS. 1 and 2.
- the right wall element not a soft iron tube is integrated into the edge profile, but rather a further magnet device.
- This is a mirror image of that of the left wall element. It has an inverse polarization, so that different polarities are present on the opposing pole pieces of the two magnetic devices. In this way, the attractive force acting between the two wall elements can be increased compared to the previously described embodiment and at the same time a precise positioning and alignment of the wall elements can be achieved with each other.
- the magnet device 4 is set back or drawn in relative to the contour of the associated edge profile 3.
- the associated magnetizable counterpart 11 of the other wall element consists of a soft iron rib 12 which is raised in relation to the associated edge profile.
- the wall elements When the wall elements are joined together, it projects into the recess 13 which receives the magnet device 4.
- Such a retracted arrangement of the magnet device 4 prevents contact of the magnet at the free end of a partition, in particular with objects which can be damaged in strong magnetic fields.
- the magnet device is covered by a recess in the recess 13 suitable cover element serving as short-circuit element (see above) possible.
- the magnet device 4 or the soft iron rib 12 can be rotatably mounted about the axis of the corresponding edge profile. This ensures that the two edge profiles can easily be rolled onto each other to change the angular position of the two wall elements without a sliding movement between the magnet device 4 and the soft iron rib 12.
- the magnet device 4 is supported in a pivotable manner about the axis of the edge profile 3.
- the wall body and the edge profile of the wall element have two cutouts 15 each suitable for receiving a magnetic carrier 14.
- the magnet carriers 14 together with the magnet devices 4 are rotatably mounted about the axis of the edge profiles 3.
- the magnetic carriers 14 can be fixed in different angular positions by means of locking devices (not shown); In this way, defined angular positions of the respective wall elements can be set.
- the wall element to be connected to the wall element shown is constructed accordingly.
- the magnetic devices of the wall element shown here are opposed to magnetizable counterparts (soft iron bodies or other magnets), which in turn are accommodated in supports which are pivotably mounted in a corresponding manner in the associated edge profile of the corresponding wall element. Even in the case of two wall elements connected to one another, the pivotability of the magnet carrier 14 and the Carrier for the magnetizable counterparts ensures that the convexly curved edge profiles can be rolled onto one another.
- the magnetic carrier 14 can also be pivoted inwards at the free end in such a way that the respective magnetic field is directed into the interior of the wall element.
- a short-circuit element 19 consisting of soft iron can be arranged in the cutout 15, which, when the magnetic device 4 is rotated inward, neutralizes it by short-circuiting the pole shoes. In this way, it is reliably ruled out that disturbing magnetic fields exist at the free end of a partition.
- the magnet carrier 14 has on its side facing away from the magnet device 4 a convexly curved surface which is adapted to the curvature of the edge profile 3. In this way, a smooth contour is ensured on the free edge of the outermost wall element of a partition when the magnet carrier 14 has been rotated into its position facing inwards with the magnet.
- both wall elements 1 have magnetic devices 4. These each comprise five mutually polarized magnets 16, which are each arranged in the two magnet devices with mutually inverse polarity. Filling pieces 17 are provided between each two magnets 16. Due to the inverse polarity of the opposing magnets of the two magnet devices 4, one is formed between the magnet devices strong attraction.
- the matching division of the magnetic devices provided on the top and bottom of the wall elements also leads to the wall elements always being exactly aligned with one another, in particular having no axial angular offset from one another.
- Each magnet device is assigned a cylinder jacket 9, which is explained in connection with FIGS. 1 and 2 and is made of soft iron and the other half is made of a non-magnetizable material. As explained above, this can be rotated into a first position in which the corresponding magnetic device is activated and into a second position in which the magnetic device is neutralized.

Abstract
Description

- Fig. 2
- eine Draufsicht auf die Trennwand gemäß Fig. 1,
- Fig. 3

- Fig. 6a
- in perspektivischer Ansicht ein Wandelement und
