Claims (5)

  1. Drainage fitting for shower trays, bath tubs, cellars, balconies, terraces or the like, comprising a housing (1), a connecting surface (8), which carries a sealing ring (9), of the housing, an immersion pipe (20) which is inserted into the housing (1), bounds an inflow opening (19) and forms a part of the odour trap, which projects into the housing chamber by an overflow upwardly offset relative to the free end of the immersion pipe (20), and with an outflow stub pipe (5) going out from the outflow chamber (4) of the housing, wherein the housing chamber provided with the upper overflow is formed by a odour trap cup (23) arranged in the housing (1) and locked in operational setting by the inserted immersion pipe (20) and the odour trap cup (23) after removal of the immersion pipe (20) is displaceable into the housing interior space and is tightly fitted in close sliding fit in the housing inner profile, characterised in that the odour trap cup (23) is formed to be rectangular in plan and has at the side, which faces the outflow stub pipe, a central constriction (24) for improvement in accessibility to the outflow chamber (4) in the immediate vicinity of the outflow stub pipe (5) when the odour trap cup (23) is, after removal of the immersion pipe (20), pushed into the housing interior space.
  2. Drainage fitting according to claim 1, characterised in that part surfaces of the outer contour of the immersion pipe (20) are, on engagement in the odour trap cup (23), matched to part surfaces of the inner contour of the odour trap cup (23).
  3. Drainage fitting according to one of claims 1 to 2, characterised in that the housing (1) has an upper part (3) which forms an upper base and from which extend hollow pins (13), which are provided with a threaded insert (12) and which project into the interior space of the odour trap cup (23), for receiving the threaded shank of fastening screws for a cover hood (18).
  4. Drainage fitting according to claim 3, characterised in that the hollow pins (13) are closed downwardly.
  5. Drainage fitting according to claim 3, characterised in that the fastening screws (11) have a head (14), which is provided with an encircling groove (15) for reception of a sealing ring (16) and hollow pins (17) of a cover hood (18) are placed on the sealing rings in force-locking and shape-locking manner, the hollow pins (17) fixing the spacing between the cover hood (18) and a flange ring (10) supported at the inner edge of an outflow opening of a shower tray or the like.
