Außerdem treten recht laute Funktionsgeräusche auf, die einerseits daraus resultieren, daß Metall "von Natur aus" geräuschbildende bzw. geräuschfördernde Eigenschaften besitzt. Andererseits resultieren Geräusche auch daraus, daß bei dem Metallgehäuse nur recht große Fertigungs-Maßtoleranzen erreicht werden können, was zu recht großem Bewegungsspiel der innerhalb des Gehäuses angeordneten Funktionsteile, insbesondere Rastmittel, mit einer entsprechenden Geräuschentwicklung durch Klappern bzw. Schwingungen führt. Die Konstanz der Maßhaltigkeit, d.h. die sog.   4. Door holder according to claim 3,
    characterized in that the two frame components (18a, 18b) of the housing frame (18) each have two connecting tables (32, 34) which extend away from one another in opposite directions, the two frame components (18a,b) being connected non-detachably, and in particular preferably by means of embossed-through connections (36), via their connecting tabs (32,34) which lie flat in pairs one on the other.
  5. Door holder according to one or more of claims 1 to 4,
    characterized in that the housing frame (18) has stiffening beads (38,40) at least in the region of the two support sections (20,22).
  6. Door holder according to one or more of claims 1 to 5,
    characterized in that the support section (20) facing the stop element (14) of the holding belt (2) has at least two groove-shaped stiffening beads (38) which run from the one side section (24) to the other side section (26).
  7. Door holder according to one or more of claims 1 to 6,
    characterized in that the support section (22) facing the vehicle upright end of the holding belt (2) has, on its outside, a stiffening bead (40) constructed as a flat, in particular rectangular depression.
  8. Door holder according to one or more of claims 1 to 7,
    characterized in that the support sections (20,22) of the housing frame (18) each have a passage opening (28,30) for the holding belt (2), preferably at least the passage opening (30) of the support section (22) facing the vehicle upright end of the holding belt (2) being sealed off by a surface seal (42) though which the holding belt (2) reaches in a sealing manner.
  9. Door holder according to claim 7 and 8,
    characterized in that the surface seal (42) lies within the flat stiffening bead (40) of the support section (22).
  10. Door holder according to one or more of claims 4 to 9,
    characterized in that the housing frame (18) has, in the region of the connecting tabs (33,34), fixing openings (44) for fixing the holder housing (8) on the door side, the fixing openings (44) preferably being constructed as threaded holes formed without cutting.
  11. Door holder according to one or more of claims 1 to 10,
    characterized in that the inner housing (16) is held in the housing frame (18) under positive locking at right angles to the direction of action of the tensile force (F).
  12. Door holder according to one or more of claims 1 to 11,
    characterized in that the inner housing (16) is constructed in a stiffened form such that the tensile force (F) introduced via the stop element (14) initially into the first support section (20) of the housing frame (18) is transmitted proportionately over the inner housing (16) to the second support section (22), and in particular preferably in a force distribution which is substantially uniform over the length of the second support section (22).
  13. Door holder according to one or more of claims 1 to 12,
    characterized in that the inner housing (16) has, on each of its housing walls (50c, d) extending between the support sections (20,22) of the housing frame (18), stiffening ribs which run, starting from the region adjacent to the first support section (20) of the housing frame (18), in the direction of the second support section (22) and preferably end there in a support bar (58) which runs in the longitudinal direction of the second support section (22) and is adjacent thereto.
  14. Door holder according to one or more of claims 1 to 13,
    characterized in that catch elements (10) which cooperate with the holding belt (2) and are supported via spring elements (60) on the housing frame (18) are arranged within the inner housing (16).
  15. Door holder according to claim 14,
    characterized in that, in the direction of the open sides (52) of the inner housing (16), the spring elements (60) are adjacent to the side sections (24,26) of the housing frame (18) which close these sides (52).
  16. Door holder according to one or more of claims 1 to 15,
    characterized in that the inner housing (16) is made of a fibre-reinforced plastic, in particular polyamide.
  17. Door holder according to one or more of claims 1 to 16,
    characterized in that the housing frame (18) is made of sheet steel with a surface which has preferably been given an anticorrosion treatment, in particular galvanized.
  18. Door holder according to one or more of claims 1 to 17,
    characterized in that the stop element (14) has, on its side facing the holder housing (8), a damping element (62) of an elastically deformable material.
