Definitions
- the present invention relates to a mounting base a ski binding, consisting of an element of front fixing and a rear fixing element, on a ski, comprising a base plate, a support front fastening element and a mounting element support rear attachment mounted longitudinally movable relative to the base plate, connecting means between these supports ensuring longitudinal displacement of these supports symmetrical relative to an axis transverse to the base plate, guide means supports for fasteners and means for blocking of the fasteners supports on the base plate.
- Patent AT- 371 349 we know a base comprising a base plate extending over the entire length of fixing and on which are slidably mounted a front jaw support and a support heel piece to which the ends of the two connecting rods whose other ends are articulated on a central disc with helical teeth for its rotational drive by a screw.
- This base is heavy and the long base plate rigid grips the ski to prevent it from bending in its central area.
- the rods and their joints also constitute elements of fragility.
- Patent FR 2 344 305 describes a base of the same type than the previous one in which the racks are replaced by rods, as in the document AT 371 349 or by multiple parallelograms.
- the invention aims to achieve a base at a time simpler and more robust than known bases.
- the base must also restrict the ski as little as possible.
- the mounting base according to the invention is characterized in that the base plate has a transverse lumen perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the base, that the fastener supports have plate-shaped extensions with parallel sides, superimposed on the base plate at least in the central area thereof and each having a transverse light oblique to the longitudinal axis of the base, these oblique lights crossing above the base plate light and having symmetry relative to the longitudinal axis of the base, in that the connecting means consist of a mobile stud engaged without play in the three lights, so that a displacement of one of the supports causes a symmetrical displacement of the other medium relatively to the light of the base plate.
- this base is particularly simple and robust. It is also made up few elements, the blocking means preferably being made up of bolts serving at the same time base plate fixing screw.
- the base plate can be screwed to the ski exclusively in its central part so that the clamping skiing is very weak.
- the base plate can be either attached to the ski or integrated into the ski.
- its position can be adjustable, for example by providing longitudinal lights for the passage of fixing screws to the ski.
- the fasteners supports can be consisting of plates and slides used generally for mounting fasteners rear (heel), these being extended for their superposition according to the invention.
- Figure 1 shows an exploded view
- Figure 2 is a plan view, from above, of the base climb.
- Figure 3 is a perspective view of a second embodiment in which the adjustment means are integrated into a platform.
- Figure 4 is an exploded view of a third mode of execution derived from the previous mode of execution.
- Figure 5 is a perspective view of a fourth mode of execution.
- Figure 6 is an exploded view of a fifth mode execution.
- the mounting base according to the embodiment shown in Figures 1 and 2 consists essentially a base plate 1, a front stop support 2 and a heel support 3.
- the base plate 1 has a longitudinal recess 11 forming a slide, the lower part of which rectangular profile, is intended to receive the support heel piece 3 and the upper part has two lateral grooves 12 intended to receive the support 2.
- the base plate 1 also has a transverse light 13 perpendicular to the axis longitudinal of the slide and a hole 14 of each side of this light.
- the stop support 2 comprises a platform 21 having three tapped holes 22 for fixing a stop by means of screws and, on its underside, a axial groove 23 T-shaped.
- the platform 21 is extended behind by a part of lesser thickness 24 rectangular with light oblique transverse 25 and, on each side of this light 25, two longitudinal lights 26 and 27 located on the axis of symmetry of the support 2.
- the sides of the part 24 present thinnings 28 coming to engage in the grooves 12 of the plate slide basic 1.
- the heel support 3 also includes a platform 31 having four tapped holes 32 for fixing a heel piece with screws.
- a longitudinal groove 33 in T-profile In the underside of platform 31 is formed a longitudinal groove 33 in T-profile.
- the platform 31 is extended forward by a part rectangular 34 of lesser thickness and width as it slides in the bottom of the plate basic 1 under part 24.
- This part 34 presents also an oblique transverse light 35 relative to the longitudinal axis of the base.
- the oblique lights 25 and 35 intersect above the light 13 of the base plate and have a symmetry relative to the longitudinal axis of the base.
- the lower flange 42 thicker than the plate base 1, is further engaged in a groove 38 formed in the underside of the support 3 and superimposed on the light 35.
- the distance between the flanges 41 and 42 is such that parts 24 and 34 of the supports are retained, with minimal play between these flanges.
- the pad 4 can therefore move in the lights 13, 25 and 35.
- the light 13 being perpendicular to the axis of the slide and the lights 25 and 35 presenting the same inclination relative to this axis, any displacement of one of the supports in the base plate 1 is accompanied by a displacement of the other symmetrical support relative to the longitudinal axis of the light 13.
- Locking of supports 2 and 3 in the desired position is carried out by means of two bolts 5 and 6, bolt 5 crossing lights 26 and 36 and one of holes 14 of the base plate 1 and coming to be screwed in an insert (not shown) fixed in the ski, while the other bolt 6 passes through lights 27 and 37 and the other hole 14 of the base plate to come to screw in a second insert.
- Bolts 5 and 6 are therefore used simultaneously for fixing the plate base 1 for skiing and for locking the fixing supports.
- the platform 21 is also axially guided and retained vertically on the ski by a lug 7 whose T profile is engaged in the slide 23.
- the rear platform 31 is guided and retained by a identical post 8.
- Posts 7 and 8 are screwed into inserts fixed in the ski.
- the holes 14 in the base plate could be replaced by longitudinal lights 14, like indicated in dashed lines in FIG. 1, so that allow adjustment of the plate position base, i.e. the base on the ski for adapting the position of the ski binding to the user's way of skiing.
- the second embodiment is characterized by a base plate 100 extending over the entire maximum length excluding the entire binding and the central part of which has two wings downward sides, such as wing 101, substantially perpendicular to the base plate and by which the base plate 100 is integrated into the edges a ski 9.
- a plate 10 of elastomeric material by example in rubber, itself fixed to the ski by gluing.
- the base plate is also fixed to the ski, as in the first embodiment, using the two bolts 5 and 6.
- On the base plate 100 are fixed, by means of screws not shown, two rails 15 and 16 T-profiles on the plate base are mounted a front mounting bracket 121 and a rear mounting bracket 131.
- the mounting bracket front 121 has an axial groove 123 in profile combined with the profile of rail 16 and engaged on this rail 16 so that it can slide on it.
- the fixing support 131 has a groove profile 133 engaged on the guide rail 15.
- the mounting bracket 121 has an extension 124 simply resting on base plate 101.
- This extension 124 has a wide longitudinal groove 125 on its underside, groove which serves as a guide to the extension 134 of the rear fixing support 131, this extension 134 being narrower and less high than support 131.
- this second embodiment presents the same features as the first embodiment, the corresponding elements being designated by the same reference numbers.
- supports 121 and 131 are all first placed on base plate 100, then rails 15 and 16 are arranged in the upper openings slides 123 and 133 and fixed to the plate base 100 by means of screws (not shown).
- This embodiment is characterized by integration means of adjustment to a platform intended for wear the ski binding.
- the embodiment shown in Figure 4 is a variant of the previous embodiment.
- the long base plate 100 is replaced by a plate significantly shorter base 200, also fitted two vertical side wings 201 similar to wings 101 of the plate 100.
- the base plate 200 has, on the one hand and other fixing holes, a narrowing defining two rectangular parts 202 and 203.
- Under the base plate 200 we find the rubber plate 10.
- the deleted part of the rubber plate 10 of the previous embodiment is replaced, at the front, by a rubber plate 17 having a cutout longitudinal 17a in U in which the part engages 202 of the base plate.
- the rear support 131 is fitted with a rubber plate 18 presenting a U-shaped cut into which part 203 engages from the base plate. This U-shaped cut allows sealing between the base plate and the fasteners supports.
- the integration of the platform is even more advanced.
- This fourth mode is characterized by the fact that the supports fixing 221 and 231 consist of a plate rubber 225, 235 sandwiched between a plate upper metal and lower metal plate 226, respectively 236.
- the bottom plate 236 of the rear support 231 is provided with a profiled groove 233 analogous to groove 33 of the first mode of execution and in which the head of a guide piece 8 identical to that of the first mode execution.
- the front support 221 is guided in the same way.
- the two front holes 32 intended to receive the screws before fixing the heel on the rear support 231 are formed on two longitudinal projections can fit into two cutouts 228 in profile conjugate formed at the end of the anterior support 221, on either side of the longitudinal light 27, which saves a few centimeters on the minimum fixing adjustment length.
- This last mode of execution allows to obtain a raised platform with cushioning.
- stud 4 could be hexagonal and have two sides parallel to the light 13, two faces parallel to light 25 and two sides parallel to light 35, so that the stud 4 cannot rotate around its axis.
- the upper face of the stud could have an index moving along the edge of the upper light 25 opposite graduations carried by the support upper, graduations corresponding to lengths standard shoe soles.
- the holes 14 of the base plate could be tapped to receive bolts 5 and 6, the plate base 1 being fixed to the ski by particular screws.
- the superposition of the plates 24 and 34 could be reversed. Locking the base in the retained position could be insured by other means.
- the flange upper 41 of pad 4 could be deleted.
- Guidance fasteners supports could be achieved by different means, for example by side guides.
- the base plate could be integrated into the ski, i.e. be part of skiing.
- An example of integration is shown in Figure 6.
- the ski 9 is provided with a integrated plate 400 in which the light is formed 13.
- On each side of the plate 400 the ski is provided threaded inserts 41 and 42 for fixing blocking 5 and 6.
- the rest of the base is identical to the embodiment shown in Figure 3.
- the rails 15 and 16 are fixed directly to the ski.
