Stellvorrichtung zur relativen Winkelverstellung einer angetriebenen Welle, insbesondere Nockenwelle einer Brennkraftmaschine, - die ein jeweils mittels paarweise angeordneter Verzahnungen (15, 15'; 16, 16') ein Antriebsrad (13) mit der Welle (11) drehfest mitnehmendes, gesteuert/geregelt in antriebs- und wellenseitigen Verzahnungen (15, 15'; 16, 16') verlagerbares Verstellelement (14) umfaßt, das - in einer Maschinen-Referenzstellung (Zünd-OT/Zylinder 1) einem Anschlag (20) der Stellvorrichtung (10) zugeordnet ist, dadurch gekennzeichnet, - daß in einer montageabhängigen Referenzstellung der Maschine (12) eine die Anschlagposition (18) des Verstellelementes (14 bzw. Kolben 17) am Anschlag (20) anzeigende Signaleinrichtung (21) vorgesehen ist.
