Abstract
Description
- Die Erfindung betrifft einen Träger mit einer Grundlackschicht als Haftgrund für eine bei einem nachfolgenden Bedrucken auf den Träger aufzubringende Druckfarbe. Im Rahmen der Erfindung liegt auch eine geeignete Lackzubereitung zur Grundierung eines Trägers sowie die Verwendung eines bedruckten Trägers.
- Aluminium- und Kunststoff-Deckfolien für Blisterverpackungen werden fast immer mit dekorativen Drucken versehen. Für grosse Serien eigenen sich das Flexo- und Tiefdruckverfahren, kleinere Serien bzw. Etiketten werden inline an der Anlage bedruckt. Stetig von Druckbild zu Druckbild wechselnde kleinere Bildelemente, wie EAN- und Zahlencodes, können diesen Druckbildern über Laser- bzw. Inkjetdruck hinzugefügt werden. Der weit überwiegende Teil dieser Drucke wird aus Gründen der Gleitfähigkeit, des Substratschutzes und der Haftungsvermittlung für die Druckfarbe auf einer dünnen Grundlackschicht aufgebracht. Diese muss zusätzlich beständig gegen die beim Verschliessen von Blisterverpackungen übliche Heissversiegelung mit Temperaturen bis zu 260°C sein und darf dabei nicht an den blanken oder beschichteten metallischen, heissen Siegelwerkzeugen ankleben. Es kommen deshalb hier nur Lacke mit möglichst geringer Thermoplastizität in Frage.
- In jüngster Zeit wurde zusätzlich zu den vorgenannten Verfahren ein neues Druckverfahren entwickelt, welches bei ähnlicher Druckbildgrösse wie bei Flexo- und Tiefdruck die Möglichkeit bietet, mit praktisch vernachlässigbarer Zeitverzögerung das Druckmotiv von Druck zu Druck vollständig zu ändern. Dies kann extern oder inline an den Abpackanlagen erfolgen. Die Arbeitsweise ist ähnlich dem Laserdruck. Ein Toner wird über eine laseraktivierte Clichéewalze übertragen und wird durch die Wärmeenergie eines Lichtblitzes z.B. einer Xenonbogenlampe am Druckträger fixiert. Diese ist im Vergleich mit der Hitzeaktivierung des Laserdruckes um ein Vielfaches geringer. Die bisher üblichen Druckvorlacke führten unter diesen Bedingungen nur zu ungenügender Haftung des Toners. Durch Anpassung der Lackformulierung an die Bindemittelbasis des Toners konnte die Haftung des Toners auf dem Druckvorlack nur unwesentlich verbessert werden.
- Angesichts dieser Gegebenheiten haben sich die Erfinder die Aufgabe gestellt, einen Träger der eingangs genannten Art bzw. eine zu dessen Herstellung geeignete Lackzubereitung zu schaffen, mit der die Haftung zwischen Grundlackierung und Druckfarbe (Toner) auf einfache Weise verbessert werden kann. Der Träger soll insbesondere die Anwendung laserdruckähnlicher Verfahren auch bei niedriger Wärmeenergie zur Aktivierung des Toners als Druckfarbe ermöglichen.
- Zur erfindungsgemässen Lösung der Aufgabe führt, dass die Grundlackschicht feinkörnige Bestandteile wie hochdisperse Kieselsäure, Talkum, Kieselerde, natürliche oder oberflächenvorbehandelte Glimmer und/oder organische Partikel enthält. Die organischen Partikel können auch organische Zusätze, Harze oder Polymere sein, welche sich in der Lackformulierung nicht auflösen und damit die Oberfläche in gleicher Weise wie die organischen Füllstoffe erhöhen.
- Bevorzugte Träger umfassen eine Folie aus Metall, Kunststoff, Papier oder daraus hergestellte Verbundmaterialien.
- Der Gehalt an feinkörnigen Bestandteilen in der Grundlackschicht bzw. in der Lackzubereitung liegt bevorzugt zwischen etwa 0,1 und 20 Gew.-%, vorzugsweise zwischen 0,3 und 10 Gew.-%.
- Es hat sich gezeigt, dass als Basis für eine zur Grundierung des Trägers geeignete Lackzubereitung eine Vielzahl der heute üblichen Lackbindemittel verwendet werden können. Eine gute Haftung zwischen Druckvorlack und Druckfarbe ergibt sich beispielsweise mit einer Lackzubereitung auf der Basis Melamin bzw. mit Harnstoffharzen vernetzbarer Polyester oder Polystyrolacrylate, nicht vernetzbarer Cellulosenitrate oder polyadditionsvernetzender Systeme, insbesondere Systeme auf Isocyanat-, Isocyanurat-, gehärteter Lacke auf Polyester- oder Polyacrylatbasis, ggf. in Abmischung mit nicht härtbaren Anteilen.
- Ein bevorzugter Anwendungsbereich eines bedruckten erfindungsgemässen Trägers aus Aluminium, Kunststoff oder einem Aluminium/Kunststoff-Verbundmaterial liegt in dessen Einsatz als heissiegelbare Verpackungsfolie, insbesondere als Folie zum Verschliessen von Blisterverpackungen durch Heissversiegelung oder für Beutel.
- Weitere Vorteile, Merkmale und Einzelheiten der Erfindung ergeben sich aus der nachfolgenden Beschreibung bevorzugter Ausführungsbeispiele.

Claims (9)
- Träger mit einer Grundlackschicht als Haftgrund für eine bei einem nachfolgenden Bedrucken auf den Träger aufzubringende Druckfarbe,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass
die Grundlackschicht feinkörnige Bestandteile enthält. - Träger nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Grundlackschicht hochdisperse Kieselsäure, Talkum, Kieselerde, natürliche oder oberflächenvorbehandelten Glimmer und/oder organische Partikel als feinkörnige Bestandteile enthält.
- Träger nach Anspruch 1 oder 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Bestandteile in der Grundlackschicht bzw. im Lösungsmittel des Grundlackes nicht löslich sind.
- Träger nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Grundlackschicht 0,1 bis 20 Gew.-%, vorzugsweise 0,3 bis 10 Gew.-%, feinkörnige Bestandteile enthält.
- Träger nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 4, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass er eine Folie aus Metall, Kunststoff, Papier oder daraus hergestellte Verbundmaterialien umfasst.
- Lackzubereitung zur Grundierung eines Trägers nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 5, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass sie hochdisperse Kieselsäure, Talkum, Kieselerde, natürliche oder oberflächenvorbehandelten Glimmer und/oder organische Partikel als feinkörnige Bestandteile enthält.
- Lackzubereitung nach Anspruch 6, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass sie 0,1 bis 20 Gew.-%, insbesondere 0,3 bis 10 Gew.-%, feinkörnig Bestandteile enthält.
- Lackzubereitung nach Anspruch 6 oder 7, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass sie auf der Basis Melamin bzw. mit Harnstoffharzen vernetzbarer Polyester oder Polystyrolacrylate, nicht vernetzbarer Cellulosenitrate oder polyadditionsvernetzender Systeme, insbesondere Systeme auf Isocyanat-, Isocyanurat-, oder gehärteter Lacke auf Polyester- oder Polyacrylatbasis, ggf. in Abmischung mit nicht härtenden Anteilen, zusammengesetzt sind.
- Verwendung eines bedruckten Trägers nach Anspruch 5 aus Aluminium, Kunststoff oder einem Aluminium/Kunststoff-Verbundmaterial als heissiegelbare Verpackungsfolie, insbesondere als Folie zum Verschliessen von Blisterverpackungen durch Heissversiegelung oder für Beutel.
