Verkehrsleit- und Informationssystem mit einer Steuereinrichtung (10), einer Naviagationseinrichtung (11, 12, 13), einem Rundfunkempfänger (16, 17) zur Auswertung von Verkehrsinformationen, einem Rückkanal (14, 15), und einer Benutzerschnittstelle (19),
dadurch gekennzeichnet,
daß eine Speichereinrichtung (18) vorgesehen ist, in der vom Rundfunkempfänger (16, 17) empfangene, verschlüsselte Daten für das Verkehrsleit- und Informationssystem gespeichert werden, daß entsprechend der über die Benutzerschnittstelle (19) eingegebenen Verkehrsleit- und/oder Informationsabfrage von der Steuereinrichtung (10) über den Rückkanal (14, 15) ein Schlüssel von einer Zentrale abgerufen wird, der die der Abfrage entsprechenden Daten in der Speichereinrichtung (18) entschlüsselt, und daß die entschlüsselten Daten für die Verkehrsleitung und/oder Information von der Steuereinrichtung (10) zusammen mit den Daten der übrigen Einrichtungen (11 bis 15) des Verkehrsleit- und Informationssystems verarbeitet werden und über die Benutzerschnittstelle (19) zur Verfügung gestellt werden.
