    1.     2. A pump according to Claim 1, characterised in that the hollow piston (32) bears an O-ring (37) for providing a seal in the metering chamber.
    3. A pump according to Claim 2, characterised in that the O-ring is held in a groove (36) borne by the hollow piston (32).
    4. A pump according to Claim 3, characterised in that the groove (36) surrounds the O-ring (37) on three sides.
    5. A pump according to Claim 3, characterised in that the groove (36) holds the O-ring (37) on the top and on the inside, and the bottom is held by the edge of the disc (47) forming the base of the hollow shank (43).
