Part of the sheeting of the bag is cut by a recess (16) starting from the transverse wall and connecting with the outlet. The recess contains at least one pin (18) whose point (19) facing the bag is set back into the recess in relation to the surface of the transverse wall supporting the bag. The height of the pin is less than half the depth of the recess. The recess with a transverse wall forms a sharp edge.

Description

A device for emptying a tubular bag containing a pasty mass is made DE 1 536 003 A known. The tubular bag is supported there by a basket which is inserted in a cylinder receiving the tubular bag. When emptying the tubular bag enters the basket and is pierced by protruding through the basket thorns.

DE 9 103 038 U discloses another device. To break the tubular bag there serves a knife inserted into the device with a transverse to the radial direction of the tubular bag surface. To empty the tubular bag pressure is exerted on the rear end, which continues through the bag contents and presses the front end of the hose against the oblique knife edge. As a result, a fold extending from the center to the outside of the front end of the tubular bag is cut through and the tubular bag is opened.

For proper fulfillment of their function in the tubular bag materials used in practice, the known arrangements requires relatively sharp piercing or cutting elements, which can usually be produced only by separate metal parts. This increases the cost of the usually designed as a disposable device.

Further, the tool is designed as a fixed element, so it is a complete piston feed for completely emptying the tubular bag in the way.

At another, off DE 3 826 887 A Known device, the tubular bag is pierced by a mandrel, which must be manually introduced before emptying through a cap provided on the Ausbringstutzen and then pulled out again. This handling is not only cumbersome and time consuming, but also carries the risk that the contents of the container leaking prematurely and pollutes the environment and / or in turn contaminated with foreign substances in an inadmissible manner. In addition, the known device is unsuitable for use in mechanical dispensing devices.

The invention has for its object to provide a device for emptying a pasty mass containing tubular bag, which ensures a safe opening and complete emptying. In addition, the device should also be used in machine-operated dispensing devices.

The inventive solution to this problem is characterized in claim 1. Characterized in that the device used to break up the tubular bag has a bag-facing tip, which bursts when stretched when applying the emptying pressure on the tubular bag film, a secure opening of the tubular bag is guaranteed even with difficult to handle films and pastes. The further fact that the tip is set back in the deflated state of the tubular bag against the tubular bag supporting transverse wall, allows a complete emptying.

The embodiment of the invention according to claims 2 and 3 is efficient in operation and at the same time inexpensive to manufacture.

When pressure is applied to the rear end of the tubular bag, the portion of the tubular bag film located above a recess may deform into the recess until the most overstretched central portion of the film reaches the tip of a mandrel disposed in the recess and is thereby burst. The bursting of the over-stretched film leads - which is favorable for an unhindered discharge of the bag contents - to a much larger opening than is achieved by mere piercing or by cutting with a knife.

The fact that the mandrel tip in the deflated state of the tubular bag is set back relative to the transverse bag supporting the tubular bag, also allows a complete emptying, since the mandrel is the Ausbringkolben not in the way. At the same time there is a transport protection in this design, since without the minimum pressure required for opening the tubular bag can not reach the mandrel tip.

The embodiment of the invention according to claim 2 is favorable in terms of the smallest possible axial length of the entire device.

The developments of the invention according to claims 3 and 4 are intended to prevent the tubular bag film from slipping as it expands into the recess and thereby may not be overstretched enough to rupture upon contact with the mandrel tip.

The arrangement according to claim 5 is expedient in that it ensures that the most bulged and stretched portion of the tubular bag film is brought into contact with the mandrel tip.

The devices after Fig. 2 to 4 show unclaimed reference examples.

In the FIGS. 1a and 1b illustrated device consists of a cap assembly comprising two on a central portion 10 integrally connected cap parts 11 , 11 ' . Each cap member has a transverse wall 12 , 12 ' , one of them rearwardly (in FIG. 1a pointing upward) circular cylindrical flange 13, 13 ' and each one in the Mittc arranged forward (in FIG. 1a down) outstanding circular cylindrical trough 14, 14 ' on. In each cap member 11, 11 ' , the front end of a suitably sized tubular bag 15 , 15' is inserted and connected to the flange 13 , 13 ' . The trough 14 , 14 ' serves to accommodate the front, as closed by a clip tubular bag lobes.

The thus completed unit of cap assembly and two filled by the manufacturer with pasty masses tubular bags used for insertion into a device, such as in EP-A-0 492 413 is disclosed. The tubular bags are introduced with their protruding from the cap assembly parts in a double-cylinder arrangement. By common mechanical feed of the pistons, the two pastes can be applied in a mixing ratio corresponding to the cross-sectional ratio of the two tubular bags.

In each transverse wall 12 , 12 ' is a forward (in FIG. 1a pointing downward depression 16 , 16 ' , at the bottom of an outlet nipple 17 , 17' attaches.

Der Dorn 18 befindet sich neben der Öffnung des Austrittsnippels 17.The recess 16 is circular cylindrical in cross-section and surrounds centrally a mandrel 18 whose tip 19 is set back relative to the plane of the transverse wall 12 . Preferably, the length of the mandrel 18 is less than half the depth of the recess 16 . The mandrel 18 is located next to the opening of the outlet nipple 17th

In the mentioned circular cross-sectional shape of the recess 16 is a preferred embodiment. Depending on the film material, bag contents and number of mandrels 18 arranged in the recess, other, for example oval, cross-sectional shapes may be expedient.

At the bottom of the recess 16 ' two mandrels 18' are formed, which stand on both sides of the opening of the outlet nipple 17 ' . The tips 19 'of the mandrels 18' are compared to the plane of the transverse wall 12 ' reset. The recess 16 ' is as out FIG. 2 shows, in total approximately segment-shaped.

During the first advance of the abovementioned pistons, the application pressure causes the part of the tubular pouch 15, 15 ' located above the respective depression 16, 16' to bulge into the depression until it reaches the mandrel tip 19 , 19 ' and thereby bursts open. The length of the mandrel 18 , 18 ' is dimensioned in relation to the depth of the recess 16 , 16' and taking into account the film material so that the mandrel tip 19 , 19 'is not touched until the film is sufficiently overstretched and when bursting as possible forms large opening. In this way, it is ensured that the tubular bag contents can flow unhindered into the depression 16, 16 ' and from there into the outlet nipple 17, 17' .

The recess 16, 16 ' forms with the surface of the transverse wall 12 , 12' a rounded as little as possible and - unless it is to be feared damage to the film - substantially sharp edge to hinder slipping of the tubular bag film. For the same purpose, the surface of the transverse wall 12 , 12 ' supporting the tubular bag 15 , 15' may be roughened and / or the film may be coated or otherwise provided with anti-slip means.

The device after FIG. 2 is different from the after FIGS. 1a and 1b characterized in that the tubular bag scratching the tip 29, 29 ' at the end of a tapered cylindrical tube 28 , 28' is formed, which protrudes coaxially with its other end in the respective outlet nipple 27 , 27 ' and to this via a predetermined breaking point 26 , 26' is integrally formed.

When making and filling the tubular bags 25 , 25 ' , care is taken that they are loose in the region of the respective tube 28 , 28' and that the respective tip 29 , 29 ' does not bear on the tubular bag film or only with negligible pressure. As the dispensing pistons advance, this pressure increases until the tip scratches and ruptures the pouch. The tubular bag contents can then pour directly into the outlet nipple 27, 27 ' via the tubes 28, 28' forming the tip 29, 29 ' .

When the dispensing piston reaches the relevant point 29, 29 ', the further feed movement causes the predetermined breaking point 26, 26' to break and the tube 28, 28 'is now pushed into the outlet nipple 27 , 27' . In this way, a complete emptying of the tubular bag is ensured.

Taking into account the properties, in particular the toughness, the tubular bag films used for use and the properties, in particular the viscosity, of the tubular bag contents, the force required for destroying the predetermined breaking point 26 , 26 ' is to be greater than the force required is to burst the tubular bag film by the tip 29 , 29 ' .

In the embodiment according to FIG. 2 are the Tube bag 25 , 25 ' - unlike in FIG. 1a shown - provided with an inwardly drawn closure, so that in the embodiment according to FIGS. 1a and 1b provided tubs 14 , 14 ' unnecessary. This leads to a simpler design of the transverse walls 22, 22 ', but may be less favorable from the point of view of the complete bag evacuation. Therefore, the trough-like configuration of the transverse walls used in the first embodiment can also be applied to the embodiment FIG. 2 be applied. Conversely, the design is after FIG. 2 also in the embodiment according to FIGS. 1a and 1b possible.

The embodiment according to FIG. 3 agrees with that FIG. 2 largely match, but the tubes 38 , 38 ' in this case to the cap parts 31, 31' are not formed on predetermined breaking points, but resiliently biased against the emptying direction. The bias voltage originates in each case from a spring 36, 36 ', which is supported on a projection 34, 34' provided in the interior of the outlet nipple 37, 37 ' .

Again, the force of the spring 36 , 36 ' is to be dimensioned so that when advancing the dispensing piston exerted by the tube tip 39, 39' on the tubular bag film pressure sufficient to score the tube bag and cause it to burst.

In the final discharge phase of the piston meets directly on the tube in question 38 , 38 ' and pushes this against the force of the spring 36, 36' so far in the outlet nipple 37, 37 ', that the tubular bag can be completely emptied.

In the embodiment according to FIGS. 4a and 4b is the force acting on the tubular film foil tip 49, 49 ' at the end of an integrally formed on the transverse wall 42, 42' lever 48, 48 'is formed, which extends in its unclaimed position of the transverse wall 42, 42' obliquely upward. The tip 49, 49 ' is located in or near the axis of the respective outlet nipple 47, 47'.

When advancing the Ausbringkolben the respective tubular bag 45, 45 ' pressed against the tip 49, 49' , so that this in turn scratches the tubular bag film and causes it to burst. At the latest when completely advancing the dispensing piston sets the lever 48, 48 ' substantially flat on the transverse wall 42, 42', so that it is not a complete emptying of the tubular bag in the way.

To prevent the lever 48 ' in the in FIGS. 4a and 4b right cap portion 41 ', which is provided with the relatively thin exit nipple 47' , the opening blocks, the lever 48 ' opposite to the representation in FIG. 4b be slightly laterally offset relative to the axis of the outlet nipple 47 ' .

In FIG. 4a the two tubular bags 45 , 45 'are shown without special end closures. You can like in FIG. 1a or in FIG. 2 and 3 be designed, wherein the transverse walls 42 , 42 ' optionally similar with trough-like formations FIG. 1a can be provided.

In the exemplary embodiments described above, the cap arrangement is designed for jointly accommodating two tubular bags each. The invention is equally applicable to designs in which a cap assembly is provided for three or more bags, or each of a plurality of bags is provided with a separate cap, or only a single bag with cap is present.
