Abstract

Eine Verschlußeinrichtung für Ofenöffnungen, insbesondere bei Kachelöfen, Grundöfen und Keramiköfen, weist eine Türe (9) auf, die über ein Scharnier (17) od.dgl. mit einer Zarge (3) schwenkbar verbunden ist. Die Türe (9) besteht aus zwei in Abstand voneinander angeordneten, vorzugsweise aus Scheiben aus feuerfestem Glas bestehenden, rahmenlos ausgebildeten Platten (10,12), die lediglich über einzelne Abstandhalter (11) miteinander verbunden sind. An den Abstandhaltem (11) ist ein rahmenförmiges Verbindungselement (16) festgelegt, an dem das Schamier (17) od.dgl. befestigt ist. Zwischen den beiden in Abstand voneinander angeordneten Platten (10,12) erfolgt eine Luftzirkulation, welche die innere Platte (10) abkühlt, wodurch die Wärmeübertragung auf die äußere Platte (12) wesentlich verringert wird, sodaß die Temperatur dieser äußeren Platte (12) gering ist. Die äußere, aus einer Glasscheibe bestehende Platte (12) kann mit einer wärmereflektierenden Schicht versehen sein, durch welche die Wärme in den Brennraum (6) zurückreflektiert wird. Beide Platten können mit einem Dekor versehen sein.
