Description

Innerhalb der Grenzen der durch die Erfindung vermittelten Lehre sind hier breite Variationsmöglichkeiten gegeben. Beispielsweise kann der Bereich höherer Lichtreflektivität einen hellen Farbton aufweisen, und der Bereich geringerer Reflektivität einen dunklen Farbton. Es ist lediglich darauf zu achten, daß die vorstehend gegebenen Beziehungen der Reflektivitäten der jeweiligen Umgebungsbereiche des Trägers bzw. der Metallisierung eingehalten sind. Insbesondere dann, wenn die Sichtfläche des Trägerbereiches geringerer Reflektivität in einem dunkelgrauen Farbton erscheinen soll, ist es möglich, das optische Element so auszubilden, daß die Reflektivität der Metallisierung der diffusen Reflektivität des dunkelgrauen Hintergrundes im wesentlichen entspricht, so daß sich für Betrachtungsrichtungen, die außerhalb des Glanzwinkelbereiches liegen, die Metallisierung von dem dunkelgrauen Hintergrund nicht abhebt, sondern nur bei Betrachtung innerhalb des Glanzwinkelbereiches für einen Betrachter sichtbar wird.

- eine schematische Darstellung einer dritten Ausführungsform des erfindungsgemäßen optischen Elementes mit einer Metallisierung in Musterform;

Claims (14)
- Visuell identifizierbares, optisches Element, insbesondere ein Sicherheitselement für Wertdokumente, z.B. Banknoten, Kreditkarten, Ausweise oder Scheckdokumente, oder sonstige zu sichernde Gegenstände, umfassend einen Träger mit einer insbesondere diffus reflektierenden Sichtfläche und eine bereichsweise auf die Sichtfläche des Trägers aufgebrachte Metallisierung mit einer unter einem Glanzwinkel metallisch glänzend erscheinenden Oberfläche,
dadurch gekennzeichnet,
daß die Sichtfläche (12,34) des Trägers (10,28,36) zwei Trägerbereiche (14,16;30,32;40,42) unterschiedlich hoher, insbesondere diffuser Reflektivität für Licht aufweist, wobei jeweils ein Teilbereich (18,24,26) oder mehrere Teilbereiche (38) jedes der zwei Trägerbereiche (14, 16; 30, 32; 40, 42) metallisiert ist bzw. sind, und daß die Reflektivität (σM) der Metallisierung in Betrachtungsrichtungen außerhalb eines Glanzwinkelbereiches (α) geringer ist als die Reflektivität des Trägerbereiches (14,30,40,54,64) mit der höheren Reflektivität (σT>) oder dieser im wesentlichen entspricht und größer ist als die Reflektivität des Trägerbereiches (16,32,42,56) mit der geringeren Reflektivität (σT<) oder dieser im wesentlichen entspricht. - Optisches Element nach Anspruch 1,
dadurch gekennzeichnet,
daß die Metallisierung in Form eines ein visuell wahrnehmbares Halbtonbild (52) erzeugenden Punkt- oder Linienrasters (50) auf den Träger aufgebracht ist. - Optisches Element nach Anspruch 1 oder 2,
dadurch gekennzeichnet,
daß die Metallisierung ein visuell wahrnehmbares Muster, ein Zeichen, ein Symbol oder eine Figur bildend auf den Träger aufgebracht ist. - Optisches Element nach Anspruch 3,
dadurch gekennzeichnet,
daß die Metallisierung in Form von regelmäßig angeordneten, rautenförmigen Teilbereichen (38) den Träger (36) überdeckt. - Optisches Element nach einem oder mehreren der vorstehenden Ansprüche,
dadurch gekennzeichnet,
daß der Träger (60) mehrere Bereiche (62,64) gleicher Reflektivität aufweist. - Optisches Element nach einem oder mehreren der vorstehenden Ansprüche,
dadurch gekennzeichnet,
daß der Träger mehr als zwei Bereiche unterschiedlich hoher Reflektivität aufweist. - Optisches Element nach einem oder mehreren der vorstehenden Ansprüche,
dadurch gekennzeichnet,
daß für die bereichsweise Metallisierung der Trägerbereiche unterschiedlich hoher Reflektivität Metalle unterschiedlicher Reflektivität verwendet sind. - Optisches Element nach einem oder mehreren der vorstehenden Ansprüche,
dadurch gekennzeichnet,
daß zumindest einer der Trägerbereiche (14, 16; 30, 32; 40, 42) mit in Abhängigkeit vom Betrachtungswinkel variierender Reflektivität ausgebildet ist. - Visuell identifizierbares, optisches Element, insbesondere ein Sicherheitselement für Wertdokumente, z.B. Banknoten, Kreditkarten, Ausweise oder Scheckdokumente, oder sonstige zu sichernde Gegenstände, umfassend einen Träger mit einer insbesondere diffus reflektierenden Sichtfläche und eine bereichsweise auf die Sichtfläche des Trägers aufgebrachte Metallisierung mit einer unter einem Glanzwinkel metallisch glänzend erscheinenden Oberfläche,
dadurch gekennzeichnet,
daß die Sichtfläche (70) des Trägers (72) einen Trägerbereich (74) mit in Abhängigkeit vom Beleuchtungs- bzw. Betrachtungswinkel variierender Reflektivität aufweist, und daß der Träger so ausgebildet ist, daß Betrachtungsrichtungen außerhalb eines Glanzwinkelbereiches (α) existieren, in denen die Reflektivität (σM) der Metallisierung (78) geringer ist als die Reflektivität (σT) des Trägerbereiches (74) oder dieser im wesentlichen entspricht, und daß andere Betrachtungsrichtungen existieren, in denen die Reflektivität (σM) der Metallisierung (78) größer ist als die Reflektivität (σT) des Trägerbereiches (74) oder dieser im wesentlichen entspricht. - Optisches Element nach einem oder mehreren der vorstehenden Ansprüche,
dadurch gekennzeichnet,
daß der Trägerbereich (74) eine optisch wirksame Dünnfilmbeschichtung aufweist. - Optisches Element nach einem oder mehreren der vorstehenden Ansprüche,
dadurch gekennzeichnet,
daß in die Metallisierung (78) eine Beugung und/oder Interferenz bewirkende Strukturen integriert sind. - Optisches Element nach einem oder mehreren der vorstehenden Ansprüche,
dadurch gekennzeichnet,
daß die Metallisierung (78) eine reliefartige, im wesentlichen parallel zueinander erstreckte, metallisch glänzende Erhebungen (80) umfaßt und daß die Täler (82) zwischen den Erhebungen eine einen metallisch matten Bildeindruck vermittelnde Oberflächenstruktur (84) aufweisen. - Wertdokumententräger, insbesondere in Form einer Flachmaterialbahn aus Papier oder Kunststoff,
gekennzeichnet durch
ein optisches Sicherheitselement (92) nach einem oder mehreren der Ansprüche 1 bis 11. - Wertdokumententräger nach Anspruch 13,
dadurch gekennzeichnet,
daß der Träger des Sicherheitselementes (92) von dem Wertdokumententräger (90) selbst gebildet ist.
