Description

The invention relates to a device for feeding and loosening Stacking flat objects, in particular mail items, to a separator a sorting system.

So far, letters have been stacked using an underground conveyor belt fed and the loosening of the batch of mail was done by blowing in Air. Alignment of the individual parts of the stack was carried out with the help of vibrators. The disadvantage here is the high effort (3 work steps) and one uneven loosening, which increases the risk of double deductions when subsequent separation of the letters increases. The loosening up of flats or Flat packs cannot be detached at all by blowing in air.

A device for feeding and loosening stacks of flat objects to a separator of a sorting system with the features of the preamble of claim 1 is known from US Pat. No. 4,884,795.

The invention has for its object a device for aligned Feeding and loosening batches of flat items, which improves the prior art in that feeding, loosening and alignment in one operation and the loosening takes place more evenly, and that packets or flats can also be fed in according to the task.

The object is achieved by the features of claim 1.
The advantage of this solution is that at the same time as the transport movement, caused by the rotation of the spindles, by the increasing incline and the increase in the number of spindle paths in the transport direction, there is a uniform loosening of the transported goods and an alignment towards the edge between the floor and the side boundary.
An inclination of the spindles in an advantageous lining of the invention according to claim 2 causes the flat objects to run better and more evenly into the spindles.

Show
Fig. 1
is a schematic perspective view of the solution according to the invention for the transport of letters and cards to a separator of a sorting system.
Fig. 2
a cross section through a spindle.

As can be seen in FIG. 1, there are two with their in bottom B. Longitudinal axes in the transport direction to the singler with its friction belt RB for Subtract the letters towards the spindles SP. Furthermore is located in a vertical side limit SB attached to the side of the floor B. also an SP spindle with the same orientation. These three spindles are SP with the same diameter, pitch and number of gears and are at a height in the direction of transport. So that the letters and cards to the edge between the floor and the side boundary have the Spindles SP in the bottom right-hand, the spindle SP in the Side boundary SB is a left turn. By rotating the Spindles SP according to Fig. 1, the letters on their rear and bottom edge, i.e. towards the edge between floor B and side limit SB, aligned.

The cross section through a spinel SP according to FIG. 2 shows that the increase on the left at the inlet has the value S1 and in the direction of transport continuously increased to a multiple value Sn. In addition, the spindle receives SP a second gear from approx. The middle of the longitudinal direction. All three spindles SP have the same structure with regard to these parameters. This results in a uniform reduction in the packing density of the letters and cards supplied towards the singler, so that double deductions are reduced. In addition, they are Spindles SP are arranged so that they are gradually at an angle from floor B or the side limit SB in the direction of transport, see above that there is an even takeover of the letters and cards in the invention Establishment results.

Claims (2)
