Description

The invention relates to a device for distributing air in a room with a pressurized pressure chamber which has a large-area air outlet opening which is covered by an air-permeable fabric.
Ventilation systems are used in living and office spaces in order to establish and maintain a certain air condition independently of external influences. As a result, the climatic conditions in living and working rooms are adapted to human needs.
To solve this problem, it is known from DE 35 05 539 AI to arrange a fine fabric in front of the air outlet surface of the ventilation system. This results in a large outlet area, through which the outflowing air is largely evenly distributed into the room. The tissue is attached to the edges of the air outlet surface in an untensioned state, so that it is brought into a distance from the outlet surface by the action of the air flow. However, this bulging of the tissue is undesirable for aesthetic reasons. An even more serious disadvantage of the above-mentioned device is that the dirt particles contained in the air flowing through get caught in the tissue, making it unsightly.
In order to achieve stabilization against bulging, DE 41 36 247 C2 describes a device for. Distributing air or extinguishing gas proposed that the guide duct for the air is formed by a double-wall fabric with two spaced-apart fabric surfaces, which are gas-tightly connected in the surface area by a plurality of spaced-apart connecting threads and in the edge area. The air circulating between the two fabric surfaces exits through one or both surfaces of the fabric, depending on the arrangement of the device (wall-mounted or free-hanging). This device is problematic because of the unsolved problem of the externally recognizable contamination of the tissue by the particles contained in the outflowing air. In addition, such a double wall fabric is not economical because of its high manufacturing costs. It is therefore the object of this invention to develop a device of the type mentioned in the introduction in such a way that a more uniform distribution of the air is achieved without visible contamination of the air outlet surface.
To achieve this object, the invention proposes, starting from the device of the type mentioned at the outset, that the fabric has two fabric layers arranged at a distance from one another and through which the air stream flows successively.
The device according to the invention is advantageous in that the conditioned air is distributed particularly uniformly when flowing through the two successive tissue surfaces. This results in a largely draft-free ventilation that is not noticed by the people in the room or is even felt as pleasant. Furthermore, the inner fabric layer acts as a filter, which retains the dirt particles contained in the air flowing through. The air flowing through the outer fabric layer is therefore particle-free and does not leave any dirt on the back of the second surface which would be visible from the outside and which would make the air outlet surface unsightly.
Furthermore, the more uniform distribution of the air allows working with a relatively high temperature difference between the room and supply air. This is particularly important in air conditioning systems, for example, because it avoids a cold draft that is perceived as unpleasant.
A preferred embodiment of the invention provides that the two fabric layers are connected to one another at their edges and form a fabric sack that fits onto one arranged inside the stenter frame. The fabric layers connected to form a fabric sack are stretched by the tensioning frame mentioned, so tightly that a visible bulge no longer occurs under the effect of the outflowing air. In addition, a fluttering of the fabric layers caused by turbulence in the pressure chamber is avoided.
Both the stenter with the fabric bag and the fabric bag itself can be replaced individually. The choice of a specific fabric also has an influence on the pressure drop to be set on the air distributor. The fabric can be made of polypropylene, polyester or glass fibers, for example. The color design of the fabric offers numerous options for incorporating the device into the room decoration.
Furthermore, a cover frame is arranged on the tenter frame on which the fabric bag is pulled. This cover frame fulfills the task of improving the fastening of the tenter frame with the fabric bag mounted thereon to the pressure chamber and of making the tenter frame itself invisible.
The tensioning frame preferably consists of angle pieces and long side bars, the angle pieces having tensioning means through which the distance from the corner of the angle piece to the side edge of the side bar can be increased, so that the fabric bag stretched onto the tensioning frame is stretched. This allows the frame to be extended in all directions. This proves to be particularly advantageous because it enables quick and easy replacement of the tissue bag. Preferably, the elbows each have a pin at their two ends, which in at the ends of the long Side bars provided receiving means is inserted, elbows and side bars are axially displaceable relative to each other by means of clamping screws. This construction facilitates the exchange of the fabric sack and also enables the frame to be retensioned in the event that the fabric expects to stretch over time.
The device according to the invention is preferably designed as a ceiling panel. It can be integrated into a suspended panel ceiling, the number and arrangement of the individual devices depending on the respective spatial conditions.
Im einzelnen zeigt:The device according to the invention for distributing air in a room is explained in more detail below with reference to the drawings. In detail shows:

Fig. 2 einen Längsschnitt durch eine Ecke des Spannrahmens der ge¬ nannten Ausführungsform der vorliegenden Erfindung;2 shows a longitudinal section through a corner of the clamping frame of the mentioned embodiment of the present invention;
Dieses Gewebe 4 weist zwei mit Abstand zueinander angeordnete Gewebelagen 5, 6 auf, eine innere Lage 5 und eine äußere Lage 6.1 shows the individual components of an embodiment of the device according to the invention for distributing air in a room in an exploded view. A pressure chamber 1 has a large-area air outlet opening 2 and an air inlet opening 3 which do not have an angular connection on a narrow side or a round connection (not is shown) is connected to an air line on the end face opposite the air outlet opening 2. The large-area air outlet opening 2 is covered by an air-permeable fabric 4. This fabric 4 has two fabric layers 5, 6 arranged at a distance from one another, an inner layer 5 and an outer layer 6.
The two fabric layers 5, 6 are preferably connected to one another at their edges and form a fabric sack 7. A tensioning frame 8 is arranged inside the fabric sack 7, onto which the fabric sack 7 is pulled. The tenter frame 8 with the fabric bag 7 mounted thereon is fastened by means of a cover frame 9 above the air outlet opening 2 of the pressure chamber 1.
The conditioned air flows from the air line through the air inlet opening 3 into the pressure chamber I and leaves it through the air outlet opening 2. The air first flows through the inner fabric layer 5 of the fabric sack 7 and leaves possibly entrained dirt particles on its side facing the pressure chamber 1. The air filtered by the inner fabric layer 5 then flows through the outer fabric layer 6 and is thereby distributed evenly over the entire surface of the air outlet opening 2.
Die Fig. 2 zeigt einen Längsschnitt durch eine Ecke des Spannrahmens 8, wobei ein Winkelstück 10 vollständig im Schnitt gezeigt wird und die langen Seitenstäbe 11 nur teilweise dargestellt werden.2 shows a longitudinal section through a corner of the tensioning frame 8, an angle piece 10 being shown completely in section and the long side bars 11 being shown only partially.
In the preferred embodiment of the invention shown, the angle pieces 10 have clamping means 12, by means of which the distance from the corner of the angle piece 10 to the side edge of the side bar 11 can be increased. This allows the fabric sack 7 to be stretched onto the clamping frame 8. The angle pieces 10 preferably each have a pin 13 at their two ends. This pin 13 is inserted into the receiving means 14 provided at the ends of the long side bars 11. The angle pieces 10 and the side bars 11 can then be axially displaced relative to one another by means of clamping screws 15.
