Definitions
- the invention relates to a pivot bracket made of sheet metal with bearing eyes for pivoting or tilting windows, doors or the like according to the preamble of claim 1.
- Such a pivot bracket is known from DE 94 08 431 U1.
- the pivot bearing shown here is made of sheet metal and has, on the one hand, tabs that are bent up to the bearing eyes and tabs that are bent to fix them in the frame.
- the disadvantage here is that the bearing eyes for receiving the axle bolt are open. If the load is particularly strong or persistent, in particular when used to hold the handlebars of a stay scissor in tilt and turn windows, doors or the like, there is a risk that these bearing eyes will bend open.
- the invention has for its object to develop a simple pivot bracket with bearing eyes made of sheet metal, which is easy to manufacture and in which there is no risk of the bearing eyes bending open.
- Pivot bracket 1 are part of a pivot bearing. They are preferably designed with two bearing eyes 2, which guide and hold an axle pin 3. In the free space between the bearing eyes 2, the adjacent parts are rotatably connected to the axle pin 3.
- the pivot blocks 1 described above can be used for all pivot bearings in the case of pure rotating sashes of windows, doors or the like. With tilt and turn sashes, they are preferably used to connect the handlebar 4 of the stay scissors to the frame 5.
- FIG. 1 shows a tilt-and-turn window, consisting of frame 5 and sash 6.
- the sash 6 is connected to the frame 5 via an upper pivot bearing 7, which is connected to the handlebar 4 of a stay scissors and a tilt-and-turn bearing 8 arranged at the bottom on the bearing side.
- An operating handle 9 serves on the one hand for adjusting the functional elements of the fitting and on the other hand for moving the sash.
- FIG. 2 to 4 show an embodiment of a pivot bracket 1 for the upper pivot bearing 7 corresponding to FIG. 1.
- the pivot bracket 1 is made of a sheet metal.
- the metal sheet is punched out flat with the appropriate tabs, pawls and holes.
- the final shape is bent according to Fig. 2 by bending.
- the finished pivot bracket 1 has a base plate 10, which is provided with mounting holes 11 and extends over the entire length into a wall part 12.
- Rags 13, which are bent toward the bearing eyes 2 extend to the wall part 12.
- the free ends 14 of the tabs 13 extend into recesses 15 in the base plate 10.
- the shape of the ends 14 of the tabs 13 and the recesses 15 provides a positive connection between them.
- a positive connection can also be achieved if, as shown in FIG. 3, parts of the ends 14 of the tabs 13 are squeezed into the recess 15 by caulking. Corresponding stem points 16 are shown in FIG. 3. The connection of the wall part 12 to the base plate 10 over the entire length gives the pivot bracket 1 great dimensional stability in the longitudinal direction.
- the ends 14 of the tabs 13 can also be formed without positive locking elements and engage in corresponding recesses in the base plate 10. Then it is provided according to the invention that they are glued or welded to the base plate. This training is not shown in the drawing.
- upstanding tabs of the base plate 10 can be glued to the ends of the tabs 13 which are then only pulled down to this end or welded.
- the free ends 14 of the tabs 13 can also be glued or welded to the base plate 10 in the embodiment described according to FIGS. 2 to 4.
- bearing pieces 18 are inserted into the bearing eyes 2.
- These bearing pieces 18 can be made of plastic, for example.
- the bearing eyes 2 have notches 19 in connection with the base plate 10, into which the bearing pieces 18 engage with projections 20.
- the bearing pieces are inserted with their projections 20 into the notches 19 before the bearing eyes are finally formed. Thereafter, the bearing eyes 2 are further formed, the ends 14 of the tabs 13 then being introduced into the recesses 15 in the base plate 10.
- the bearing pieces 18 can also have a central bore for receiving the axle pin 3, so that they then completely encompass it. This can bring advantages in terms of wear.
- FIG. 5 An alternative embodiment of the support of the axle pin 3 in the direction of the base plate 10 of the bearing block 1 is shown in FIG. 5. After this training, the metal sheet is made wider next to the bearing eyes 2. Loops 21 are then bent from this widening, in which the axle pin 3 is supported.
- FIG. 6 shows a longitudinal section through FIG. 2, the configuration of the bearing pieces 18 being recognizable.
- a pivot bracket 1 two identical bearing pieces 18 are used. These bearing pieces each have a foot which rests continuously on the base plate 10 of the rotary bearing block 1 and, like the base plate 10, is provided with fastening bores 22. Fastening screws, not shown, penetrate both the fastening bores 11 of the base plate 10 and the fastening bores 22 of the bearing pieces 18 and serve to fasten the pivot bracket 1 to the frame 5.
- the bearing pieces 18 are formed with resilient fixing lugs 23. These fixing lugs 23 resiliently engage in circumferential recesses 17 at the ends of the axle pin 3.

Description
The invention relates to a pivot bracket made of sheet metal with bearing eyes for pivoting or tilting windows, doors or the like according to the preamble of
Such a pivot bracket is known from DE 94 08 431 U1. The pivot bearing shown here is made of sheet metal and has, on the one hand, tabs that are bent up to the bearing eyes and tabs that are bent to fix them in the frame. The disadvantage here is that the bearing eyes for receiving the axle bolt are open. If the load is particularly strong or persistent, in particular when used to hold the handlebars of a stay scissor in tilt and turn windows, doors or the like, there is a risk that these bearing eyes will bend open.
The invention has for its object to develop a simple pivot bracket with bearing eyes made of sheet metal, which is easy to manufacture and in which there is no risk of the bearing eyes bending open.
This object is achieved according to the invention by the characterizing features of

As an alternative to the exemplary embodiment described, the
To support and guide the
An alternative embodiment of the support of the
Diese Fixiernasen 23 fassen federnd in umlaufende Einstiche 17 an den Enden des Achsbolzens 3.In the vicinity of the outer edges of the bearing
