Claims (13)

Vorrichtung zum Schleifen der Oberflächen von stranggegossenen Brammen, auch Dünnbrammen und/oder warmgewalzten bzw. warmzuwalzenden Bändern, während ihres Vorschubes im Walzwerk zum Entfernen von zu beanstandenden Oberflächenabschnitten wie Zunderschichten und/oder Texturfehlern oder dergleichen mittels Brammenoberflächen übergreifenden Walzen,
dadurch gekennzeichnet,
daß anstelle von Walzen je eine durchgehend angeordnete Welle (7) vorgesehen ist, auf der axial hintereinander eine Anzahl von mit der Welle (7) drehfest verbundene Schleifrollen (10) vorgesehen ist, und daß die Schleifrollen (10) je einen zentralen Nabenkörper (16) aufweisen, von dessen Mantel (17) mit einem Schleifmittel versehene bzw. versehbare nachgiebige Lamellen (18) ausgehen.
