Description

The invention relates to a tilt gate according to the preamble of appended claim 1.

Such tilting gates are known for example from GB-A-818 090. For example, such tilting gates are considered Garage doors used either for garages with a parking space or with two adjacent parking spaces are suitable. Are accordingly the tilting gates are dimensioned differently, including tilting gates for other purposes are known, their dimensions and the associated weight significantly about the dimensions and weight of a garage door for a garage with two parking spaces. The generic up-and-over doors have usually on their side upper ends on rollers, which in the substantially horizontal guide rails are guided, for example are attached to the ceiling of a building. Beyond that on both sides of the door leaf handlebars articulated to the tilt gate, which around an axis of rotation is rotatably mounted on a frame, which is in the masonry opening For example, a garage is attached to the reveal. On that Attachment point of the handlebars on the door leaf opposite end of the handlebars springs are arranged on the one hand in corresponding holes in the handlebars hung and on the other hand in the floor area of the building, preferably on the Frame are chipped. These springs are dependent on the weight of the Tilting doors are dimensioned and can also be used, for example, as double springs, i.e. be designed as two springs arranged side by side. The feathers serve the weight balance when moving the door leaf from its open position to its closed position and vice versa. Here is one of the springs Weight force when closing the door leaf generates counteracting force that the springs are tensioned when the door leaf is closed. In reverse The springs biased in the closed position support this Transfer the door leaf from the closed position to the open position, because the energy stored in the springs by the preload when opening the Door leaf is transferred via the handlebars to the moving door leaf.

With tilting gates of this type, the assembly is very energy-intensive and labor-intensive, in particular with larger up-and-over doors, i.e. for those with a high weight very strong coil springs must be used to balance the weight, which are pre-tensioned when the tilting gate is installed. This way of working is beyond that very prone to accidents, because the springs are energized must be applied, if the assembly of the Springs can cause the springs to slip.

Based on this prior art, the invention has for its object to provide a tilting gate of the generic type that can be assembled in a simple and safe manner even with very large dimensions and the associated strong springs.

This object is achieved by a tilting gate with the features of the appended claim 1.

Advantageous embodiments of the invention are specified in the subclaims.

In the tilting gate according to the invention there is thus a device for pretensioning the springs provided, the bias of the springs only in a certain small dimension is executed. The device is for this purpose during assembly of the gate connected to the springs. After the springs in the area of Door leaf are mounted, the door leaf is for example from its closed position transferred to its open position, causing the second ends of the Handlebars in the area of the device for biasing the springs. In the opening position of the gate can then be the device for biasing the Springs are connected to the second end of the handlebar, so that when Closing the door leaf the device for biasing the springs with the Handlebars is pivoted about the axis of rotation, whereby a further preload, namely the pretension necessary for handling such a gate is generated in the springs. This makes it structurally simple Design of the tilting gate according to the invention, in particular of the invention Device achieved, wherein the swing arm provided to form the device, for example on the frame or can also be attached to the masonry of the building.

According to a further feature of the invention it is provided that the swing arm is substantially U-shaped in cross section and preferably on a bracket is pivotally mounted on the frame or directly can be attached to the masonry of the building. With this configuration it is particularly possible to combine the swing arm and bracket also use in gates that have a corresponding device for Does not preload the springs. It is therefore an independent one Manageable device that can also be retrofitted to existing gates can be, for example, in the course of maintenance work in which Springs are replaced. The bracket is screwed to the frame. On the bearing block is the swing arm, which in cross section in is essentially U-shaped, with at least one leg, preferably rotatably attached with both legs.

A simple attachment of the springs to the device for biasing the Springs are achieved in that the device at its opposite point of rotation End has an axis on which a hook-shaped element hooked to connect the device with the spring or springs is. It is provided according to a further feature that the hook-shaped Element is angled at its end opposite the axis and has a bore, which is preferably penetrated by a threaded rod is to which the spring or springs are attached. By the Threaded rod can bias the springs after the hook-shaped assembly Element set on the device for biasing the springs become.

A simple attachment of the second end of the handlebar to the device for Biasing of the springs is achieved in that the axis on at least one End has an internal thread which interacts with a bolt with which the second end of the handlebar is attachable to the device. As a result the door leaf is in its open position when the tilting door is installed transferred, whereby the handlebar parallel to the substantially vertically arranged Swing arm is aligned. Using a bolt that passes through the inserted the second end of the handlebar and screwed into the internal thread of the axle the swing arm becomes form-fitting with the second end of the handlebar connected so that when the door leaf closes the moving around the axis of rotation Handlebar the swing arm, which is also about the axis of rotation rotates, takes along, so that the springs now with the necessary spring force are biased, which the intended support of the opening and closing movement of the door leaf enables.

The second end of the handlebar preferably has a bore which is in the same radial distance from the fulcrum is arranged as the axis of the Contraption. In a further preferred embodiment of the invention, that each spring is penetrated by a telescopic rod that with its two ends connected to the ends of the spring, on the one hand in the bottom area anchored and on the other hand on the hook element and / or the threaded rod is attached. This telescopic rod essentially consists of two Elements, wherein the one element can be inserted into the second element. Preferably the telescopic rod has a rectangular, in particular square Cross section, so that screwing elements on the Rod can be attached. The length of the two to be pushed into each other Elements here depends on the path, which is in the horizontal direction between the end positions of the handlebar, i.e. in the open position of the door leaf on the one hand and the closed position of the door leaf on the other.

According to a further feature of the invention it is provided that the bearing block is essentially U-shaped, the two legs of the bearing block have coaxially arranged bores which define the axis of rotation and preferably connected to the legs of the U-shaped swing arm are. This configuration has the particular advantage that it is stable Connection between the bearing block and the swing arm, so that even larger Forces, for example the forces of two strong coil springs connected in parallel can be transferred to the pedestal. Preferably done the connection between the bearing block and the swing arm by means of two separate bolts, which has particular advantages in terms of simplifying assembly.

Finally, it is provided according to a further feature of the invention that a Leg of the swing arm arranged between the bracket and the handlebar is.

A tilting gate 1 shown in FIGS. 1 to 3 consists of a frame 2 door leaf 3, which between an open position (Figure 2) and a closed position (Figure 3) can be moved back and forth. For this purpose, the Frame 2 at the upper end rollers 4 arranged in bearing blocks, which in substantially horizontally aligned guide rails 5 are guided. The Guide rails 5 are attached at one end to a frame 6 and are also supported by fasteners, not shown a building, not shown. For example, the guide rails 5 fixed in the ceiling area of a garage.

The frame 6 consists of two parallel and essentially perpendicular Elements as well as an essentially horizontal one, the two vertical element connecting element together, the elements being as Profile strips, preferably made of steel. Frame 6 is on the bottom via an angle element 7 on a threshold element arranged in the floor area 8 connected.

On the frame 2 there are also two links 9 each around a pivot point 10 connected pivotally, the handlebar 9 in the lower region of the Frame 2, i.e. are arranged in the area of that having the rollers 4 Area of the frame 2 is opposite. The links 9 are as profile bars, preferably formed with a rectangular cross section and over a Bearing bracket 11 attached to the vertically extending elements of the frame 6, wherein the bearing block 11 has an axis of rotation 12 about which the handlebar 9 can be rotated. The bearing block 11 is screwed to the frame 6 by means of screws 13.

Each handlebar 9 has a first end 14 which is attached to the frame 2 and a second end 15, which is opposite the building via at least one spring 16 is supported for weight balance. The springs 16 are in such Tilting gates 1 stretched when moving the door leaf 3 into the closed position, see above that the springs 16 when closing the door leaf 3 one of the weight of Door leaf 3 generate counteracting force. In the opposite case, when opening the door leaf 3, the springs 16 are relaxed, so that the relaxing Springs 16 the opening movement of the door leaf via the second end 15 support the handlebar 9. For this purpose, the springs 16 are in the area of the angle element 7 indirectly attached to the frame 6.

To assemble a tilting gate 1 inside the building in a simple and To perform safely, is a device 17 on the bearing block 11 Biasing the springs 16 arranged with the assembly of the tilt gate 1 with the springs 16 connected and with the second end 15 of the link 9 in the Open position of the gate 1 is connectable. The device 17 for prestressing the springs 16 consist of a swing arm 18 which rotates about the axis of rotation 12 the handlebar is rotatably arranged on the bearing block 11. The swing arm 18 is U-shaped in cross section, with its two legs 19 and 20th via bearing bolts 21 and 22 on two legs 23 and 24 of the also U-shaped trained bearing block 11, and the two legs 23 and 24th are connected to each other via a web 25, which with the screws 13 on the Frame 6 is screwed. The two bearing bolts 21 and 22 are in coaxially opposite Bores of the legs 23 and 24 of the bearing block 11 are arranged and form the axis of rotation 12. As can be seen in particular from FIG. 4 the leg 19 of the swivel arm 18 lies on the inside of the leg 23 of the bearing block 11 and the leg 20 of the swivel arm 18 on the outside of the leg 24 of the bearing block 11. Parallel to the leg 20 is the Handlebar 9, namely the second end 15 arranged, the handlebar 9 also is held on the bearing pin 2 so that the handlebar 9 and the swing arm 18 around turn the same axis of rotation 12.

The swing arm 18 has at its free end in both legs 19 and 20 each have a bore, which are arranged coaxially to each other and through which an axis 26 is inserted. This axis points in its legs 20 End of a bore 27 with an internal thread. Via a bolt 28 is the handlebar 9 with its second end 15 in the assembled position of the Tilting gate 1 attached to the swing arm 18, the bolt 28 in the bore 27 is screwed in.

As can be seen from Figure 4, the handlebar 9 is a tube with a square Cross section formed, 9 at the ends of the handlebars 29th are arranged.

On the axis 26, a hook-shaped element 30 is hung, which on its the axis 26 opposite end angled substantially at right angles and thus has a web 31, in the central region of which a bore is arranged which is penetrated by a threaded rod 32. The threaded rod 32 is adjustable via a nut 33 relative to the web 31, on which the mother 33 opposite end of the threaded rod 32, the spring 16 is attached, so that the bias of the spring 16 is adjustable via the threaded rod 32.

From Figure 5 it can be seen that the spring 16 of a telescopic Rod 34 is penetrated, with its lower end together with the spring 16 on the angle element 7 and with its upper end on the threaded rod 32 is attached.

Finally, it can be seen from Figure 4 that the frame 6 has an L-shaped formed angle element 35 is connected to the building, the L-shaped Angle element 35 is screwed to the frame 6 by means of screws 36.

The installation of the tilting gate 1 described above, in particular the assembly The springs 16 on the handlebar 9 are described below:

When installing the tilt gate 1 after the guide rails 5 and Frame 6 are attached to the building, the door leaf 3 together with its frame 2 with the rollers 4 inserted into the guide rails 5, whereupon the handlebars 9 are struck on the bearing blocks 11 in the area of the frame 6, wherein between the handlebar 9 and the leg 24 of the bearing block 11 of the legs 20 of the swing arm 18 is arranged. The swing arm 18 is already factory connected to the spring 16 which engages the angle element 7 and thus is indirectly connected to the frame 6. About the threaded rod 32 can first bias of the spring 16 can be set.

Now around the handlebar 9 with the spring 16 for the intended use to connect, the door leaf 3 in the direction of arrows 37 in the open position transferred, as shown in Figure 2. This way the second end 15 of the link 9 in a position parallel to the swing arm 18. By means of the bolt 28, which has a bore 38 (FIG. 1) in the second end 15 reaches through the handlebar 9, the handlebar 9 with its second end 15 connected to the swing arm 18. For this purpose, the bolt 28 is inserted into the bore 27 the axis 26 screwed into the swing arm 18. Now the door leaf is made its open position shown in Figure 2 in its shown in Figure 3 Transferred to the closed position, the swing arm 18 from the second end 15 the handlebar 9 entrained so that the intended bias in the spring 16 is built up which, when the door leaf 3 is reopened Opening movement of the door leaf supported. When closing the door leaf 3, i.e. when moving the door leaf from the open position shown in Figure 2 the springs 16 are tensioned in the closed position shown in FIG. 3, so that the necessary tension force of the weight of the door leaf 3 counteracts and the manual closing of such a door leaf even with large dimensions and high weights.

Through the procedure described above when installing such Tilting gates 1 will be a simple and safe installation especially for the coil springs provided for weight balance, the assembly of accordingly strong springs for larger up-and-over doors, for example with double spring packs can be done easily. The risk of injury from spring-back springs are significantly reduced with this up-and-over door.

The one consisting in particular of the bearing block 11 and the swing arm 18 Device 17 for biasing the springs can also be separated from one such tilt gate find use, since it is easily possible a to design such device 17 in such a way that existing tilting gates with it can be retrofitted so that when replacing springs, for example after spring breaks, the advantages of the device 17 are also used can be. It is of particular interest here that the swing arm 18th is adequately dimensioned because of the hooking in of the springs and the bolt connection transverse forces occur between the swing arm 18 and the handlebar 9. These transverse forces can preferably be achieved through the U-shaped design of the swing arm 18 are included, since this design of the swing arm 18 has the necessary stability. It is also possible for larger up-and-over doors, the side frames, the unit consisting of the pedestal and swing arm and to deliver the spring assembly pre-assembled, so that only at the installation site nor the handlebar of the door leaf with the swing arm in the above Way must be connected. This makes assembly considerably easier and in particular it becomes the risk associated with assembly so far the application of the biasing force avoided.
