Claims (3)

  1. Verfahren zur Herstellung einer Verpackung für einen Artikel wie ein Nahrungsmittel, bei dem der Artikel (3) in Folie (1) aus wärmeschrumpfbarem Material eingewickelt wird, die Folie (1) über mindestens einem Abschnitt ihres Randbereichs verschweißt wird und nachfolgend die Folie (1) wärmegeschrumpft wird, wobei die Verpackung mit einer Randzone (5), die von dem Rest der Folie (1) durch einen Bereich isoliert ist, bei dem gegenüberliegende Seiten der Folie miteinander verschweißt werden, und mit einem vollständig innerhalb der Randzone (5) liegenden Schnitt (7) gebildet wird, der sich von einem Rand (1a) der Folie aus nach Innen erstreckt, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die hermetisch isolierte Zone (5) verschieden von und neben dem oder jedem geschweißten Abschnitt (2; 4) des Randbereichs der Folie (1) angeordnet ist, wodurch sich bei Wärmeschrumpfung der Folie (1) um einen eingewickelten Artikel (3) eine Zunge (8) zur Erleichterung des Öffnens bildet.
  2. Verfahren nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Folie (1) vor dem Verschweißen der Folie (1) über mindestens einem Abschnitt ihres Randbereichs evakuiert wird.
  3. Verfahren nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Atmosphäre innerhalb der Folie (1) vor dem Verschweißen der Folie (1) über mindestens einem Abschnitt ihres Randbereichs modifiziert wird.
