Claims (4)

  1. Procédé pour fabriquer des brames minces, qui comporte les étapes suivantes :
    couler le bain de fusion métallique au moyen d'une busette de coulée à immersion dans une coquille rectangulaire oscillante, en maintenant les conditions pour la busette de coulée à immersion et la coquille : FST FTA ≤ 50
    avec FST = section transversale de la barre de la brame solidifiée,
    FTA = section transversale de la sortie de la busette de coulée,
    amener la poudre de coulée au bain de fusion métallique de sorte que la condition : hlaitier ≥ hcoquille de la barre
    avec hcoquille de la barre = hauteur de la coquille de la barre au-dessus du bain (3),
    hlaitier = hauteur du laitier (4),
    soit maintenue de façon dépendant de la hauteur d'oscillation, de la forme et de la fréquence du mouvement de la coquille,
    réduire la section transversale de la barre directement au-dessous de la coquille en plusieurs étapes dans une cage à rouleaux multiples, pour former, parallèlement à la réduction d'épaisseur de la barre en continu, dans l'intérieur de la barre encore liquide, une convection forcée, qui correspond à l'action de l'agitation électromagnétique, l'épaisseur finale de la barre étant atteinte pour un noyau encore liquide à la fin de la cage à rouleaux multiples, et
    mener la solidification de sorte que, lorsque l'épaisseur finale est atteinte à la sortie de la cage à rouleaux multiples, il existe encore à l'intérieur de la barre un domaine à deux phases.
  2. Procédé selon la revendication 1,
    caractérisé en ce que, même pendant la coulée, la fréquence, la hauteur de course et la forme d'oscillation pour le mouvement de la coquille peuvent être choisies librement.
  3. Installation de coulée continue pour la mise en oeuvre du procédé selon une des revendications précitées, comportant :
    une busette de coulée à immersion, dont la section transversale (FTA) ≥ 1/50 de la section transversale de la barre de la brame solidifiée (FST), qui pénètre dans une coquille rectangulaire, qui est reliée à un dispositif d'oscillation librement réglable en fréquence, hauteur de course, et forme,
    une amenée de poudre de coulée, qui est reliée, par l'intermédiaire d'un dispositif de mesure et de réglage, au dispositif d'oscillation et grâce à laquelle, de façon dépendant de la fréquence, de la forme et de la valeur de l'oscillation, la poudre de coulée peut être amenée de façon que la hauteur du laitier (hlaitier) soit maintenue supérieure ou égale à la hauteur de la coquille de la barre au-dessus du bain (hcoquille de la barre), et
    une cage (25) à rouleaux multiples agencée, dans la direction d'extraction, derrière la coquille rectangulaire, qui présente un dispositif hydraulique (24, 25), grâce auquel la distance entre deux rouleaux opposés peut être modifiée de façon continue.
  4. Installation de coulée continue selon la revendication 3,
    caractérisée en ce que la distance entre deux rouleaux voisins est choisie de sorte que, pour une réduction d'épaisseur de la barre prédéfinie, un effet d'agitation peut être obtenu dans l'intérieur encore liquide de la barre.
