Definitions
- the invention relates to a window according to the preamble of the main claim.
- a generic window is described in DE 40 28 444 A1.
- the interior is ventilated through a ventilation duct that leads from the rebate space, bypassing the disk base, through the casement or the frame.
- ventilation of the room can be achieved without releasing the locking of the wing, but the channels worked out in the wing frame or in the frame do not guarantee adequate ventilation of an occupied room.
- the arrangement according to DE 30 48 961 C2 has the disadvantage that the cover and thus the closure means of the ventilation duct is always visible, regardless of whether it is guided through the casement or through the frame.
- this duct ends at the top of the casement, so that moisture and dirt can get into the ventilation duct, for example when cleaning the panes.
- the size of the ventilation duct is not sufficient here either.
- the invention has for its object to provide a ventilation arrangement in the area of windows for inhabited rooms, in which the ventilation duct provided between the casement frame and frame has a sufficiently large cross-section and the openings of the ventilation ducts to the interior of the room do not have a disturbing effect and changes in the window size and window view the state of the art are not necessary.
- the ventilation duct is guided almost horizontally through the border area between the sash frame and the frame, the air being guided through the frame in front of the center seal and then to the center seal of the ventilation duct through the space between the frame and sash is led.
- the closure device required for closing the ventilation duct can also be provided in the area of the center seal. The outside of the casement and the window frame facing the interior are not changed, so that the view remains exactly the same, but nevertheless a correspondingly large air outlet is created.
- the closure means are not provided on the outside or inside of the ventilation duct, but are located in the central region of the ventilation duct and are designed such that the entire cross section of the ventilation duct is released when the closure means is open.
- the closure means are designed as a flap which is pivotally mounted and has a soft sealing lip on its upper side which protrudes somewhat forward, so that when the relatively long closure means is twisted, the sealing lip still abuts the stop sufficiently.
- the base of the closure means is mounted in a silicone seal, which has particularly good friction properties and therefore does not hinder the rotational movement of the closure means.
- the arrangement according to the invention enables the channel cross section to be fully opened, so that an almost unhindered air passage is made possible.
- the additional profile arranged in front of the outer opening of the ventilation duct is designed as an open, preferably U-shaped hollow profile which has an air passage opening in the wall which is directed towards the ventilation duct.
- a fly screen extends diagonally across the hollow profile and this arrangement also ensures that the ventilation device cannot be seen at all.
- 1 is a frame and 2 is a sash, both the upper and the lower frame and sash are shown in the drawings. With 3 the pane carried by the sash 2 is designated.
- a ventilation duct 4 is worked out, which opens into an air outlet 12 to the inside of the room and which further has in its central region a closure means 5, which consists essentially of a flap 9 which is pivotable on Frame 1 is mounted and in the open state - as shown in Fig. 1 - can be folded back into a recess 22 so that the entire cross section of the ventilation duct 4 is available when the closure means 5 is open.
- the flap 9 for the upper ventilation duct 4 and the flap 9 for the lower ventilation duct 4 can be actuated independently of one another.
- a so-called center seal 19 is arranged between the frame and sash 1, 2.
- the flap 9 comes into contact with the interposition of a sealing lip 8 against a stop 16 which extends over the length of the frames 1 and 2 and belongs to the frame 1, the sealing lip 8, as is shown by the rest position of the closure means 5 in FIG. 1, in the idle state something protrudes from the flap 9, so that a long sealing path is achieved, which may be necessary if the closure means 5 should move differently over the length of the window due to the resulting torsion.
- the stop 16 can consist of wood, metal or plastic and is arranged in a fixed manner with the frame 1 and an additional profile 6.
- an additional profile 6 is arranged, which is designed as a hollow profile, which is open at its lower end and additionally has an air passage opening 10, which is aligned with the ventilation duct 4 when the additional profile 6 is arranged in front of the window.
- a fly screen 11 is arranged in front of the opening 10, which extends diagonally from a corner to the lower corner of the profile and thus offers a very large area, which hardly impedes the entry of the air.
- the actual pane 3 is supported by corner brackets 14, one of which can be seen in FIG. 1, a block 23 being visible between the corner bracket 14 and the base of the pane 3.
- a plastic cover profile 15 is also provided in front of the base of the panel 3, which in any case protects the base of the panel 3 from any damage when the window is actuated.
- the arrangement according to the invention creates a ventilation duct 4 which ensures adequate ventilation of the interior of the room, which is effectively sealed off from the outside and which at the same time ensures that the air is directed into and out of the room in the correct direction.

Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a window according to the preamble of the main claim.
A generic window is described in DE 40 28 444 A1. In this known arrangement, the interior is ventilated through a ventilation duct that leads from the rebate space, bypassing the disk base, through the casement or the frame. In this known arrangement it is achieved that ventilation of the room can be achieved without releasing the locking of the wing, but the channels worked out in the wing frame or in the frame do not guarantee adequate ventilation of an occupied room.
The arrangement according to DE 30 48 961 C2 has the disadvantage that the cover and thus the closure means of the ventilation duct is always visible, regardless of whether it is guided through the casement or through the frame. When the ventilation duct is arranged in the lower casement, this duct ends at the top of the casement, so that moisture and dirt can get into the ventilation duct, for example when cleaning the panes. The size of the ventilation duct is not sufficient here either.
In both known arrangements (DE 40 28 444 and DE 30 48 961) the air is passed through the space between the frame and the sash in front of the center seal and then bypassing the center seal through the frame or through the frame. Regardless of where the closure means for the ventilation duct is now arranged, this constructive design has the disadvantage that the duct can never be made sufficiently large.
The invention has for its object to provide a ventilation arrangement in the area of windows for inhabited rooms, in which the ventilation duct provided between the casement frame and frame has a sufficiently large cross-section and the openings of the ventilation ducts to the interior of the room do not have a disturbing effect and changes in the window size and window view the state of the art are not necessary.
This object on which the invention is based is achieved by the teaching of the main claim.
Vorteilhafte Ausgestaltungen sind in den Unteransprüchen erläutert.Advantageous configurations are explained in the subclaims.
In other words, it is proposed that the ventilation duct is guided almost horizontally through the border area between the sash frame and the frame, the air being guided through the frame in front of the center seal and then to the center seal of the ventilation duct through the space between the frame and sash is led. The closure device required for closing the ventilation duct can also be provided in the area of the center seal. The outside of the casement and the window frame facing the interior are not changed, so that the view remains exactly the same, but nevertheless a correspondingly large air outlet is created. One remains of the casement Remaining area exist as a guide means, so that the air in the lower area of the window is led down into the room, while in the upper area the ventilation duct or the air outlet open upwards, so that the cold air can fall down into the room and the warmer air can fall into the air outlet duct from above.
In contrast to the prior art, the closure means are not provided on the outside or inside of the ventilation duct, but are located in the central region of the ventilation duct and are designed such that the entire cross section of the ventilation duct is released when the closure means is open. The closure means are designed as a flap which is pivotally mounted and has a soft sealing lip on its upper side which protrudes somewhat forward, so that when the relatively long closure means is twisted, the sealing lip still abuts the stop sufficiently.
The base of the closure means is mounted in a silicone seal, which has particularly good friction properties and therefore does not hinder the rotational movement of the closure means. In contrast to slide closure means, as are also used in DE 30 48 961 C2, the arrangement according to the invention enables the channel cross section to be fully opened, so that an almost unhindered air passage is made possible.
The additional profile arranged in front of the outer opening of the ventilation duct is designed as an open, preferably U-shaped hollow profile which has an air passage opening in the wall which is directed towards the ventilation duct. A fly screen extends diagonally across the hollow profile and this arrangement also ensures that the ventilation device cannot be seen at all.
Further advantageous configurations emerge from the description below.

In the frame or between frame and

The
The
In front of the mouth of the
The
Extending over the entire length of the pane, a
The figures show that while maintaining the same dimensions for the window, both outwards and inwards, the arrangement according to the invention creates a
From the drawings it can also be seen very clearly that the air on the inlet side, that is to say from the outside, is guided through the
