  17. Device according to Claim 16, which, furthermore, has a tension plate (30), loaded with spring force, in order to impart tension to the protective sleeve (27).
  18. Device according to Claim 17, characterized in that the protective sleeve (27) is produced from an elastic material.
  19. Method for the tension-mounting of a printing plate on to a printing-unit cylinder, having the following method steps:
    the insertion of the leading edge (7) of a printing plate (6) into a tensioning region formed as an orifice (24) in a printing-unit cylinder (1),
    the tension-gripping of the leading edge (7) of the printing plate (6) in a tension rail (11) which is mounted movably in the orifice (24) of the printing-unit cylinder (1),
    the rotation of the printing-unit cylinder (1) for the complete reception of the printing plate (6) on its circumference, until the edges (7, 8) of the printing plate (6) are located opposite a press-down device (9),
    the first pressing of the trailing edge (8) of the printing plate (6) into the tension rail (11) by the extending of a press-down batten (20) out of the press-down device (9) surrounded by a protective sleeve (27), and
    the coming of the press-down batten (10) into joint contact with the leading edge (7) and trailing edge (8) of the printing plate (6), which is initiated during the further extending of the press-down batten (10) which forces the leading and trailing edges (7, 8) in the direction of the orifice (24).
  20. Method according to Claim 19, having the following further method steps:
    the automatic moving of the tension rail (11) out of the printing-unit cylinder (1) while the latter is in the position after the step of the tension-gripping of the leading edge (7) of the printing plate (6), but before the step of the first pressing in of the trailing edge (8).
