Claims (3)
- Gewebtes Gurtband für ein Fahrzeuginsassenrückhaltesystem, bestehend aus miteinander verwobenen Schußfäden und Kettfäden, wobei die Kettfäden (7) mit je Längeneinheit des Gurtbandes verschiedenen Längen ausgebildet sind, nämlich als kurze Kettfäden (10) und als längere Kettfäden (20), wobei die kurzen Kettfäden (10) bis zu einem ersten Dehnungswert des Gurtbandes (1) die in diesem wirkende Zugbelastung ohne Belastung der längeren Kettfäden aufnehmen und die längeren Kettfäden (20) ab diesem Dehnungswert des Gurtbandes (1) in Abhängigkeit von dem Verhältnis ihrer Länge zu der Länge der kurzen Kettfäden (10) an der Aufnahme der in dem Gurtband (1) wirkenden Zugbelastung beteiligt sind, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die kurzen und die längeren Kettfäden (10, 20) aus Polyethylen bestehen und daß der Anteil der kurzen Kettfäden (10) an allen Kettfäden (7) ungefähr demjenigen der längeren Kettfäden (20) entspricht, wobei die kurzen und die längeren Kettfäden (10, 20) abwechselnd angeordnet sind.
- Gurtband nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die langen Kettfäden (20) ungefähr um 20% je Längeneinheit des Gurtbandes (1) länger sind als die kurzen Kettfäden (10).
- Gurtband nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Schußfäden aus Polyethylen bestehen.
