- Modern tableting machines are suitable for pressing a wide variety of types and shapes of tablets. After the production of a batch or several batches of tablets, the pressing tool must be dismantled for the purpose of cleaning and then assembled will. Disassembly is also necessary if the machine is converted from one tablet format to another tablet format. To do this, stamps and dies must be exchanged. Tableting machines are known in which the dies are fixed and locked or detachable by means of die screws which are screwed into the die table radially from the outside. As many die screws as dies are required. The die screws are conical at the front end and engage in circumferential grooves of the dies when screwing in to fix the dies with the conical end.
