Description

The invention relates to a protective glove, in particular for Fire and disaster relief operations as well as for emergency services according to the preamble of claim 1.

Such a protective glove is already known from WO-A-93/05670 known. The outer layer of this glove consists of one Silicone compound, which has heat insulation, but none optimal properties with regard to poor flammability and has heat resistance. The intermediate layer consists of a kevlar knitted fabric or fabric that less are puncture resistant as a fleece. In US-A-4 433 439 there is one described two-layer glove, the inner layer of a Kevlar fleece, so it has good puncture resistance having. The outer layer is also made of Kevlar. The both layers are sewn together. That glove shows by the only two-layer structure and use of Kevlar for the outer layer does not have a sufficient heat insulation effect and heat resistance.

The invention has for its object a glove, especially for the fire brigade deployment, which the avoids disadvantages mentioned above.

The task is done with a glove with the features of the claim 1 solved.

This protective glove meets all safety requirements a firefighting glove. The outer layer is heat-resistant and ensures through its low thermal conductivity that the heat cannot transfer to the inside of the glove. The cut and puncture-resistant intermediate layer also allows that Handling sharp-edged objects, such as broken ones Window panes, sharp-edged sheet metal parts and the like. The membrane is impermeable to liquid in one direction the inner lining prevents the ingress of liquids of all kinds, but does not prevent sweat from being drawn off Form of water vapor away from the body. The membrane is also breathable, so that overall a high wearing comfort of the Glove results. The intermediate layer consists of one Fleece made of para-aramid fibers, on which a fabric made of aramid fibers is laminated as an outer glove layer. As a fleece material comes here, for example, under the trade name "Kevlar" known material in question. The outer layer can for example from the aramid fiber fabric called "Nomex" be formed. Nomex fabric was previously for gloves cannot be used because of this tissue at the seams can easily loosen fibers. By lamination of this fabric However, these disadvantages can be overcome on a Kevlar fleece eliminate, so that this tissue is now also for glove production can be used. Suitable for the inner lining especially one commonly known as "Gore-Tex" Membrane that is laminated onto a heat-resistant material can be.

To increase comfort, you can use the inside of the glove and on the back of the glove in the area of the ankles Insert made of an elastic loop fabric made of para-aramid fibers, which is silicone coated on the outside be. The glove then adapts to all movements hand. The silicone coating ensures a high Heat resistance and poor flammability. Further Advantages can be achieved by using the glove can be provided with a long cuff that also covers the forearm protects. For better visibility of the wearer of the glove can also on the back of the glove as well as on the Cuff strips applied from a light reflecting material be.

A preferred embodiment of a protective glove according to the invention with reference to the drawing explained.
