Abstract

Un dispositif d'emballage pour bicyclettes comporte une enveloppe 12 en forme de parallélépipède rectangle, et composée d'une ceinture 14 à trois pans 16,18,20, d'une paire de caissons 22,24 de calage en forme de montants profilés, et d'un couvercle de fermeture. Chaque caisson 22,24 est équipé de fentes 48 de positionnement pour le maintien des roues avant et arrière. Chaque fente 48 est délimitée par une paire de lèvres 50,52 disposées en biseau à l'intérieur du volume creux de chaque caisson, et constituant un dispositif anti-recul après l'engagement des roues. Une ligne de prédécoupe est ménagée dans chaque pan latéral 16,20 de la ceinture 14 pour transformer le dispositif en un présentoir. Description

  • L'invention est relative à un dispositif d'emballage pour des produits allongés, notamment des bicyclettes, comprenant une enveloppe en forme de parallélépipède rectangle.
  • Pour le transport et le stockage, il est connu de regrouper plusieurs produits démontés ou partiellement démontés dans un même emballage, lequel est généralement constitué par une boîte de carton. La protection des produits est obtenue en prévoyant la mise en place obligatoire à l'intérieur de la boîte, de cales auxiliaires intercalées entre les produits. Après démontage de l'emballage de protection, les cales de protection sont jetées, et la boîte peut être réutilisée comme emballage si elle est réalisée en carton repliable. La résistance mécanique limitée de telles boîtes ne se prête ni au gerbage lors du transport ou du stockage, ni pour un usage de présentoir en rayon dans les surfaces de vente.
  • Le document FR-A-2539390 se rapporte à un emballage parallélépipédique droit, à longueur modifiafle et à éléments réutilisables. La structure de l'emballage comporte une feuille de carton rectangulaire, pliée à angle droit pour former un fond et deux grandes parois latérales opposées. Des flasques en matière plastique constituent les petites parois terminales, ayant chacune une rainure de réception du bord de la feuille.
  • Un premier objet de l'invention consiste à renforcer la résistance mécanique d'un dispositif d'emballage, et à améliorer le calage interne des produits emballés pour le transport et le stockage.
  • Un deuxième objet de l'invention consiste à réaliser un dispositif d'emballage autorisant le transport des produits en position montée et prêts à l'emploi.
  • Un troisième objet de l'invention consiste à réaliser un dispositif d'emballage facilement transformable en présentoir.
  • Le dispositif d'emballage selon l'invention est caractérisé en ce que l'enveloppe comporte:
    • un premier élément inférieur ayant une paire de pans latéraux constituant les grandes parois parallèles opposées,
    • une paire de premier et deuxième caissons de calage s'étendant entre les deux pans latéraux selon une direction transversale pour former les petites parois parallèles opposées de l'enveloppe, chaque caisson creux étant équipé de moyens de positionnement comportant au moins une fente verticale pour maintenir les produits en position verticale dans un plan sensiblement parallèle aux pans,
    • un deuxième élément supérieur agencé en couvercle de fermeture destiné à être emboîté sur la partie supérieure des caissons ,
    • et des moyens de verrouillage pour l'assemblage élémentaire des premier et deuxième éléments aux caissons .
  • Selon un mode de réalisation préférentiel, les moyens de positionnement comportent une pluralité de fentes verticales, échelonnées à intervalles prédéterminés le long de la face interne transversale de chaque caisson. Chaque fente est délimitée par une paire de lèvres de maintien disposées en biseau à l'intérieur du volume creux de chaque caisson, lesdites lèvres constituant un dispositif anti-recul après l'engagement du produit, notamment d'une roue de la bicyclette, dans la fente correspondante. Il en résulte un calage interne optimum qui évite toute détérioration des produits lors du transport.
  • En plus de leur fonction de calage, les caissons sont conformés selon des montants pour renforcer la tenue mécanique, de manière à autoriser le gerbage. L'emballage peut être avantageusement placé sur une palette de manutention pour faciliter les opérations de stockage et de transport.
  • Selon une caractéristique de l'invention, la ceinture est dotée d'un pan central réuni aux pans latéraux basculants par des lignes de pliage horizontales agencées en charnières.
  • Selon une autre caractéristique de l'invention, chaque pan latéral de la ceinture est pourvu d'une ligne de prédécoupe destinée à supprimer une partie dudit pan pour transformer le dispositif en un présentoir après enlèvement du premier caisson.
  • Le dispositif d'emballage est ainsi utilisable pour la présentation des produits sur le lieu de vente.
  • Les opérations de montage et de démontage du dispositif d'emballage s'effectuent sans détérioration des éléments constitutifs de l'enveloppe grâce à la présence des moyens de verrouillage facilement accessibles. Ces moyens de verrouillage peuvent être formés par tout type d'accessoires de fermeture ou de maintien.
  • Le matériau utilisé pour réaliser l'enveloppe en kit peut être quelconque, notamment en carton, en bois, en tôle ou en plastique.
  • D'autres avantages et caractéristiques ressortiront plus clairement de la description qui va suivre d'un mode de réalisation de l'invention, donné à titre d'exemple non limitatif, et représenté aux dessins annexés, dans lesquels:
    • la figure 1 est une vue en perspective du dispositif d'emballage selon l'invention, représenté en position assemblée prêt pour le transport ou le stockage;
    • la figure 2 montre une vue en coupe selon la ligne 2-2 de la figure 1;
    • la figure3 est une vue en perspective, partiellement arrachée, de l'enveloppe sans le couvercle;
    • la figure 4 est une vue de détail à échelle agrandie de l'un des caissons de la figure 3;
    • la figure 5 est une vue identique à la figure 4 d'une variante de réalisation du caisson;
    • les figures 6 et 7 sont des vues du couvercle, respectivement en position déployée pour l'expédition avant usage, et en position pliée prêt à l'emboîtement sur l'enveloppe;
    • la figure 8 représente une vue en perspective du dispositif d'emballage en cours d'assemblage;
    • la figure 9 est une vue en perspective de la ceinture de l'enveloppe;
    • la figure 10 illustre une vue en perspective du dispositif d'emballage dans sa fonction de présentoir;
    • la figure 11 est une vue analogue à la figure 10 d'une variante de réalisation;
    • la figure 12 est une vue éclatée en perspective d'une autre variante de réalisation.
  • Sur les figures1 à 11, le dispositif d'emballage 10 pour bicyclettes est constitué d'éléments en kit comprenant une enveloppe 12 en forme de parallélépipède rectangle dont le fond prend appui sur une palette 13 de manutention du type à claire-voie. La palette 13 peut être réalisée en tout type de matériau, notamment en bois, en plastique ou en métal.
  • L'enveloppe 12 est réalisée en carton, et se compose d'une ceinture 14 à trois pans 16,18,20 disposés selon un U, d'une paire de caissons 22,24 de calage pour le maintien des bicyclettes en position verticale, et d'un couvercle 26 de fermeture. La ceinture 14 constitue un premier élément inférieur A réuni par les caissons 22, 24 au couvercle 26, lequel forme le deuxième élément supérieur B de l'enveloppe 12.
  • Le pan 18 central rectangulaire de la ceinture 14 est fixé sur la face supérieure de la palette 13, tandis que les deux autres pans 16,20 latéraux sont reliés au pan 18 central par une première et deuxième lignes de pliage 28,30 horizontales agencées en charnières. Chaque pan latéral 16,20 est équipé d'orifices 32 (figure 9), pour l'insertion de moyens de verrouillage 34 (figures 1 et 2). Une ligne de prédécoupe 36 (figure 9) est prévue dans chaque pan 16,20 en s'étendant selon une direction oblique depuis le deuxième caisson 24 vers un point 38 intermédiaire de la ligne de pliage 28,30 correspondante de la ceinture 14.
  • Le premier caisson 22 de calage (figures 2,3 et 4) modulaire comporte deux modules 22a, 22b élémentaires de sections rectangulaires creuses, disposés côte à côte par les petites faces internes 40. Des orifices 32 sont ménagés dans les petites faces internes 40, ainsi que dans les deux petites faces externes 42 autorisant la mise en place des moyens de verrouillage 34 respectivement pour l'assemblage des deux modules 22a,22b du premier caisson 22, et pour celui du caisson 22 aux deux pans 18,20 latéraux.
  • La grande face latérale 44 externe de chaque module 22a,22b est également dotée d'un orifice 32 à la partie supérieure pour la fixation du couvercle 26. La grande face interne 46 de chaque module22a,22b comporte une pluralité de découpes conformées en fentes 48 verticales et parallèles échelonnées à intervalles prédéterminés le long de la direction transversale de l'enveloppe 12. Chaque fente 48 de positionnement est délimitée par deux lèvres 50,52 de maintien disposées selon un V à ouverture variable, et s'étendant à l'intérieur du volume creux de chaque module 22a,22b pour permettre l'insertion en biseau de la roue avant 54 d'une bicyclette 56.
  • L'ouverture en biseau du V des deux lèvres 50,52 de maintien s'adapte automatiquement à la dimension du pneu de la roue 54 lors de son engagement dans la fente 48. Après l'engagement du pneu dans la fente 48, les lèvres 50,52 de maintien constituent un dispositif anti-recul.
  • La structure du deuxième caisson 24 de calage avec ses deux modules 24a, 24b est identique à celle du premier caisson 22, et les mêmes numéros de repères seront utilisés pour désigner les pièces similaires. Les fentes 48 de positionnement du deuxième caisson 24 servent à maintenir la roue arrière 58 de la bicyclette 56.
  • La figure 6 montre le découpage d'une plaque 60 de carton avec quatre lignes de pliage 62 parallèles deux à deux pour la formation du couvercle 26 (figure 7). Chacun des quatre rabats 64,66,68,70 est percé de deux orifices 32 destinés à venir en regard des orifices 32 conjugués de l'enveloppe 12 lors de l'emboîtement du couvercle 26. Le blocage de ce dernier s'opère par la mise en place des moyens de verrouillage 34 dans les différents orifices 32. Des organes de cadenassage (non représentés) peuvent être associés aux moyens de verrouillage 34 pour empêcher le démontage du couvercle 26 par une personne non autorisée. Ces organes de cadenassage peuvent être réalisés par des cadenas ou des fils de plombage.
  • Il est également possible d'agencer au niveau du couvercle 26 un dispositif de contrôle d'ouverture, formé à titre d'exemple par une étiquette collée directement sur les moyens de verrouillage 34.
  • Les différents éléments constitutifs de l'enveloppe 12 sont réalisés en carton à double cannelure, ayant une couleur prédéterminée, avec ou sans impression de motifs ou d'inscriptions.
  • D'autres matériaux peuvent être utilisés pour la fabrication de l'enveloppe 12, notamment du bois et ses dérivés découpés ou moulés, du contreplaqué, de la tôle ou du grillage métallique, du matériau plastique comme le polypropylène extrudé ou rigide, le polyester, le polyéthylène, et le polyuréthanne.
  • Le format des caissons 22,24 et de la ceinture 14 est adaptable à toutes les dimensions et au nombre de bicyclettes à emballer. ll est aussi possible de faire usage d'un caisson à fente unique pour le transport d'une seule bicyclette.
  • Le caisson modulaire 22 de la figure 4 peut bien entendu être remplacé par un caisson monobloc 72 illustré à la figure 5. Le nombre de fentes 48 verticales peut être quelconque, et l'intérieur du caisson 72 peut être doté d'une nervure 74 intermédiaire destinée à renforcer sa résistance mécanique.
  • La mise en oeuvre du dispositif d'emballage 10 selon l'invention est effectué de la manière suivante:
  • Le pan 18 central de la ceinture 14 est d'abord solidarisé sur la face supérieure de la palette 13, suivi de l'écartement des pans latéraux 16,20 engendré par un mouvement de pivotement autour des lignes de pliage 28,30. Les deux caissons 22,24 de calage sont ensuite positionnés sur les extrémités opposées du pan central 18. Chaque bicyclette 56 est alors introduite dans l'intervalle longitudinal entre les deux caissons 22,24 pour opérer l'insertion des roues avant et arrière 54,58 dans deux fentes 48 alignées selon la direction longitudinale.
  • Sur la figure 8, le basculement dans le sens des flèches F des deux pans latéraux 16,20 permet l'assemblage avec les deux caissons 22,24 de calage après mise en place des moyens de verrouillage 34 dans les orifices 32 des petites faces 42 externes. Le blocage des roues avant et arrière 54,58 dans les fentes 48 de positionnement maintient toutes les bicyclettes en position verticale et dans des plans décalés sensiblement parallèles.
  • L'assemblage du dispositif d'emballage 10 se poursuit par la pose du couvercle 26, et des moyens de verrouillage 34 supérieurs solidarisant le couvercle 26 à la ceinture 14. Il est possible de terminer l'emballage par la mise en place des organes de cadenassage, et éventuellement des dispositifs de contrôle d'ouverture.
  • Les deux caissons 22,24 de calage constituent des montants en forme de profilés qui renforcent la tenue mécanique de l'enveloppe 12, en permettant des opérations de gerbage pendant le transport et le stockage des bicyclettes emballées.
  • Les opérations d'ouverture et de fermeture de l'enveloppe 12 sont réalisées sans détérioration des éléments du dispositif d'emballage 10 grâce à la présence des moyens de verrouillage 34 facilement accessibles. Tous les éléments sont démontables, réutilisables et recyclables.
  • Avant utilisation, l'expédition du dispositif d'emballage 10 au fabricant de bicyclettes, s'effectue avec un encombrement minimum, étant donné que les différents éléments de l'enveloppe 12 sont regroupés à plat sur la palette 13.
  • Outre sa fonction de protection, de transport et de stockage, le dispositif d'emballage 10 peut également servir de présentoir sur le lieu de vente. ll suffit de démonter le premier caisson 22 pour libérer les roues avant 54 des bicyclettes, et de sectionner chaque pan latéral 16,20 le long de la ligne de prédécoupe 36 oblique, et partiellement de la ligne de pliage 28,30 à partir du point intermédiaire 38 et dans le sens du premier caisson 22. Une petite surface 80 (figure 10) de pan reste attachée au deuxième caisson 24 pour le calage des bicyclettes. L'enlèvement de la majorité de surface des pans latéraux permet de voir entièrement les bicyclettes dans l'emballage en rayon. Il en résulte un présentoir stable malgré l'usage partiel de quelques éléments de l'enveloppe 12.
  • Les grandes faces internes 46 des modules du deuxième caisson 24 peuvent comporter des inscriptions, notamment des caractéristiques techniques, des informations commerciales et/ou de publicité. La visualisation de ces inscriptions apparaît automatiquement lors du démontage de l'enveloppe 12, ce qui évite un marquage spécial de la part du vendeur. Les inscriptions peuvent être réalisées par impression, ou par collage d'étiquettes préimprimées sur les parois des faces 46.
  • L'enveloppe 12 en carton pourrait bien entendu être remplacée par une feuille souple en matière plastique transparente.
  • Sur la figure 11, une deuxième paire de caissons 122,124 est superposée sur les caissons 22,24 du niveau de base pour agrandir l'enveloppe 12 modulaire dans le sens de la hauteur. Une cloison 118 horizontale intermédiaire s'étend parallèlement au pan 18 central, en étant insérée entre les caissons 24,124;22,122 de chaque paire pour servir de plaque de support des bicyclettes rangées sur le niveau supérieur.
  • Il est clair que le dispositif d'emballage 10 et de présentoir peut être utilisé pour tout autre produit allongé devant être transporté en position montée.
  • La mise en oeuvre des moyens de verrouillage 34 peut être opérée par l'insertion de pièces de retenue rapportées, mais également par agrafage, par collage, ou par coopération de bandes adhésives.
  • En référence à la figure 12, le premier élément inférieur A et le deuxième élément supérieur B de l'enveloppe 120 sont formés par des pièces 114, 126 identiques en U, disposées en regard l'une de l'autre avec interposition des caissons 22, 24. La réduction en hauteur des pans latéraux laisse apparaître des ouvertures dans les grandes faces latérales de l'enveloppe 120. Ces ouvertures peuvent être recouvertes au moyen d'un film plastique transparent. Le dispositif d'emballage 100 selon la figure 12 est transportable sans palette de manutention.
  • Selon une autre variante ( non représentée), les pans latéraux des pièces 114, 126 présentent des dimensions plus grandes, de manière à former une zone de recouvrement dans la zone médiane.
  • La découpe des fentes 48 dans les caissons 22, 24 est agencée pour faciliter l'insertion des roues, tout en assurant la fonction anti-recul lorsque la bicyclette est incorporée dans l'emballage.

Claims (10)

  1. Dispositif d'emballage (10, 100) pour des produits allongés, notamment des bicyclettes, comprenant une enveloppe en forme de parallélépipède rectangle,
    caractérisé en ce que l'enveloppe (12, 120) comporte:
    - un premier élément inférieur (A) ayant une paire de pans (16,20) latéraux constituant les grandes parois parallèles opposées,
    - une paire de premier et deuxième caissons (22,24) de calage s'étendant entre les deux pans (16,20) latéraux selon une direction transversale pour former les petites parois parallèles opposées de l'enveloppe (12), chaque caisson (22,24) creux étant équipé de moyens de positionnement comportant au moins une fente (48) verticale pour maintenir les produits en position verticale dans un plan sensiblement parallèle aux pans (16,20),
    - un deuxième élément supérieur (B) agencé en couvercle (26, 126) de fermeture destiné à être emboîté sur la partie supérieure des caissons (22,24),
    - et des moyens de verrouillage (34) pour l'assemblage élémentaire des premier et deuxième éléments (A, B) aux caissons (22,24).
  2. Dispositif d'emballage selon la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce que chaque fente (48) est délimitée par une paire de lèvres (50,52) de maintien disposées en biseau à l'intérieur du volume creux de chaque caisson (22,24), lesdites lèvres constituant un dispositif anti-recul après l'engagement du produit, notamment d'une roue (54,58) de la bicyclette (56), dans la fente (48) correspondante.
  3. Dispositif d'emballage selon la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce que les caissons (22,24) de calage sont conformés selon des montants profilés de renforcement de la tenue mécanique de l'enveloppe (12) , de manière à autoriser le gerbage lors du transport ou du stockage.
  4. Dispositif d'emballage selon la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce que le premier élément inférieur A, et le deuxième élément supérieur B comportent chacun une pièce (114, 126) ou ceinture (14) en U, dotée d'un pan central (18) réuni aux pans latéraux (16,20) basculants par des lignes de pliage (28,30) horizontales agencées en charnières.
  5. Dispositif d'emballage selon la revendication 1 ou 4, caractérisé en ce que chaque pan latéral (16,20) de la ceinture (14) est pourvu d'une ligne de prédécoupe (36) destinée à supprimer une partie dudit pan pour transformer le dispositif en un présentoir après enlèvement du premier caisson (22).
  6. Dispositif d'emballage selon la revendication 5, caractérisé en ce que la ligne de prédécoupe (36) s'étend selon une direction oblique depuis le deuxième caisson (24) vers un point intermédiaire (38) de la ligne de pliage (28,30) correspondante.
  7. Dispositif d'emballage selon la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce que chaque caisson (22,24) est formé par une juxtaposition de modules élémentaires, de sections rectangulaires creuses, et disposés côte à côte par leurs petites faces internes 40, le nombre de modules étant fonction de la largeur de l'enveloppe (12), et que chaque caisson (22, 24) comporte une pluralité de fentes (48), échelonnées verticalement à intervalles prédéterminés le long de la face interne (46) transversale.
  8. Dispositif d'emballage selon l'une des revendications 1 à 7, caractérisé en ce que les moyens de verrouillage (34) sont engagés dans les orifices (32) conjugués des différents éléments de l'enveloppe (12), et peuvent coopérer au niveau du couvercle (26), soit avec des organes de cadenassage, soit avec des dispositifs de contrôle d'ouverture.
  9. Dispositif d'emballage selon l'une des revendications 1 à 8, caractérisé en ce que l'enveloppe (12) en kit est constituée à partir d'une feuille souple en matière prédéterminée, notamment à base de carton, de métal, ou de plastique, et que les différents caissons (22,122;24, 124) de l'enveloppe (12) sont regroupés dans le sens de la largeur ou de la hauteur pour faire un assemblage modulaire.
  10. Dispositif d'emballage selon l'une des revendications 1 à 9, caractérisé en ce que le fond de l'enveloppe (12, 120) peut être posé sur une palette de manutention (13).
